About Bridging the Gap Early Intervention Centre

About Bridging the Gap Early Intervention Centre

Bridging the Gap Early Intervention Centre is a paediatric-focused healthcare provider operating from Rochester Mall at 35 Rochester Drive, serving families islandwide. It holds a 5/5 rating across 58 Google reviews, which represents a moderate and encouraging sample. No regulatory licences are currently listed in the provider data, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed, which limits independent verification at this stage.

Families typically begin by contacting the centre via phone or the online enquiry form to discuss their child's presenting concerns — developmental delays, speech difficulties, behavioural challenges, or other paediatric conditions. Early intervention services generally involve an initial assessment to establish the child's developmental profile, followed by a structured programme that may integrate speech therapy, occupational therapy, and other allied or clinical input depending on the child's needs. Parents should ask specifically about the qualifications of the clinicians involved, which professional registers they sit on, and whether the centre holds an MOH Healthcare Services Licence for the relevant service type. For any clinical procedures or ongoing treatment, it is worth confirming how MediSave and Integrated Shield Plan coverage applies.

To take the next step, contact Bridging the Gap Early Intervention Centre directly by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing to ask about assessment availability, the clinicians' credentials, and the centre's regulatory standing before booking.

BTG is a great early intervention centre with amazing teachers who are very dedicated to their job. You can see their passion for children and they are genuine in helping all the special needs children. My daughter has been attending BTG for about 1.5years now. She has made a lot of improvements in terms of speech, motor skills, behaviour and many more. She always look forward for her classes at BTG. Whenever she is unwell, she will feel sad just because she is unable to attend class. That's how much she loves going to BTG! Highly recommend BTG if you're looking for an early intervention centre!

Bridging the Gap is a wonderful early intervention school with a caring and professional team. The principal and teachers are kind, friendly, and genuinely passionate about teaching the children. The occupational and speech therapy classes are well-structured and effective. There are also regular check-ins to give parents great peace of mind. My child has benefitted immensely from the programme. We are truly grateful for the support and dedication of the staff.

We began our journey with Bridging the Gap last August 2022 when our son’s Child Development Pediatrician had suggested us to enrol him for early intervention program due to him being at risk of autism. From then on, we had observed significant improvements from him being able to respond with his name, giving eye contact, able to point and better fine motor skills. As our son is also enrolled at a preschool, the teachers and even the principal have also feedback that they have seen him improved a lot since attending with BTG three times a week. The centre is also very welcoming and vibrant, our son enjoys going there. We still have a long way to go as a family in this journey but glad we have the help and expertise of BTG in caring and understanding our son.

My son has attended BTG at buona vista since last year. I've searched through all the EIPIC and EIPIC P available closer to the west and had chosen BTG after looking at the good reviews. He was around 2.5 when he attended and had speech delays as well as signs of Asd. Within a month there were significant improvements in speech. His Pre-school teachers also highlighted to us that he was able to speak and understand more. His attention also improved and he actually listens in class. Overall we've seen improvements in all areas after attending for close to a year. The teachers are friendly and supportive and most importantly our son actually loves attending it. We're so glad to have chosen BTG as early intervention centre for our son.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Bridging the Gap Early Intervention Centre charge?

Pricing is not publicly listed, so you will need to enquire directly. As a general reference for paediatric services in Singapore, a private specialist first consultation typically runs S$120–250, with follow-up visits at S$80–180. Assessments (developmental, speech, psychological) often carry a separate fee of S$200–600 depending on scope and duration. Investigations such as blood panels, hearing tests, or referrals for imaging are billed on top. GST applies on private medical and allied health services. For any planned programme of treatment, ask for a written financial counselling estimate that splits insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions clearly before committing. Is Bridging the Gap Early Intervention Centre MOH-licensed and how do I verify the clinicians?

No regulatory licences are currently listed for this provider, which means independent verification through public registries is not possible at this stage. A legitimate clinic offering clinical paediatric services should hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory. Any practising doctor must appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, which displays registration status, specialist accreditation, and disciplinary history. If allied health professionals (speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists) form part of the team, their registration sits with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) rather than SMC. Ask the centre directly to name the clinicians and the registers they are listed on, and verify these independently before proceeding with assessments or treatment.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Bridging the Gap Early Intervention Centre?

MediSave can be used for selected outpatient items under the MediSave 500/700 withdrawal limits — S$500 per year for general outpatient chronic conditions and S$700 per year for conditions covered under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which includes a range of paediatric-relevant conditions. Whether this centre is an accredited CDMP provider should be confirmed directly. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life may cover specialist consultations and day procedures, subject to the plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. For any planned programme of therapy or investigation, request a financial counselling session and a written estimate itemising insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions before committing — skipping this step is the most common reason families are surprised by the final bill. Confirm pre-authorisation requirements with your IP insurer in advance of any planned procedure.
