About Bridging the Gap Early Intervention Centre

About Bridging the Gap Early Intervention Centre

Bridging the Gap Early Intervention Centre is a paediatric service provider located at Rochester Mall, operating islandwide across Singapore. The listing is KakiList-verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. It holds a 5/5 rating across 58 Google reviews, a moderate sample that provides reasonable directional confidence. No regulatory licences are currently recorded against this listing, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed; prospective clients should request to see the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and verify the consulting doctor's registration on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register before booking.

For paediatric early intervention, the typical pathway begins with a referral — either from a polyclinic or GP, or directly from a developmental paediatrician who has assessed the child. Parents should bring any existing diagnostic reports, developmental assessments from KKH or NUH Child Development Units, or school observations when attending a first consultation. The consulting doctor will review developmental milestones, conduct a clinical assessment, and discuss whether further investigations (hearing tests, vision screening, developmental questionnaires, or psychoeducational assessments) are warranted before a management or therapy plan is drawn up. If the child is insured under an Integrated Shield Plan, confirm pre-authorisation requirements with your insurer and check whether consultations and assessments are MediSave-claimable under the S$700 Chronic Disease Management Programme or the standard S$500 outpatient withdrawal limit.

Contact Bridging the Gap Early Intervention Centre by phone or through their enquiry form to arrange a first consultation, and ask at that point for a written financial counselling estimate covering the consultation fee and any planned assessments.

BTG is a great early intervention centre with amazing teachers who are very dedicated to their job. You can see their passion for children and they are genuine in helping all the special needs children. My daughter has been attending BTG for about 1.5years now. She has made a lot of improvements in terms of speech, motor skills, behaviour and many more. She always look forward for her classes at BTG. Whenever she is unwell, she will feel sad just because she is unable to attend class. That's how much she loves going to BTG! Highly recommend BTG if you're looking for an early intervention centre!

Bridging the Gap is a wonderful early intervention school with a caring and professional team. The principal and teachers are kind, friendly, and genuinely passionate about teaching the children. The occupational and speech therapy classes are well-structured and effective. There are also regular check-ins to give parents great peace of mind. My child has benefitted immensely from the programme. We are truly grateful for the support and dedication of the staff.

We began our journey with Bridging the Gap last August 2022 when our son’s Child Development Pediatrician had suggested us to enrol him for early intervention program due to him being at risk of autism. From then on, we had observed significant improvements from him being able to respond with his name, giving eye contact, able to point and better fine motor skills. As our son is also enrolled at a preschool, the teachers and even the principal have also feedback that they have seen him improved a lot since attending with BTG three times a week. The centre is also very welcoming and vibrant, our son enjoys going there. We still have a long way to go as a family in this journey but glad we have the help and expertise of BTG in caring and understanding our son.

My son has attended BTG at buona vista since last year. I've searched through all the EIPIC and EIPIC P available closer to the west and had chosen BTG after looking at the good reviews. He was around 2.5 when he attended and had speech delays as well as signs of Asd. Within a month there were significant improvements in speech. His Pre-school teachers also highlighted to us that he was able to speak and understand more. His attention also improved and he actually listens in class. Overall we've seen improvements in all areas after attending for close to a year. The teachers are friendly and supportive and most importantly our son actually loves attending it. We're so glad to have chosen BTG as early intervention centre for our son.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Bridging the Gap Early Intervention Centre charge?

No specific fees have been published for this listing, so the figures below reflect Singapore private paediatric market norms. A first private specialist consultation typically runs S$120–250, with follow-up visits at S$80–180. Developmental or psychoeducational assessments (speech-language, occupational therapy, or psychological evaluations) are usually billed separately at S$300–1,200 depending on the scope and number of sessions required. On top of the consultation itself, common additional charges include investigations such as hearing screening, vision tests, and blood panels (S$60–200 each), as well as therapy referrals. GST applies on private medical services. For any planned programme of assessments or therapy, request a written financial counselling estimate from the clinic that clearly splits insurance payout, MediSave deductions, and out-of-pocket amounts before committing. Is Bridging the Gap Early Intervention Centre MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No licences are currently recorded against this listing, which means independent verification is essential before booking. Every legitimate clinic in Singapore holds an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — you can search the MOH licensee directory online by clinic name and address to confirm. Every practising doctor must also appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg; search by the named doctor's full name to confirm registration status, specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine, and any disciplinary history. For a paediatric early intervention setting, the consulting clinician should hold SMC registration and, ideally, specialist accreditation recognised by the Academy of Medicine Singapore. If the service also involves allied health professionals such as speech therapists or occupational therapists, those practitioners are separately regulated by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC). Confirm all credentials directly with the centre before the first appointment.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Bridging the Gap Early Intervention Centre?

MediSave can be used for outpatient consultations under the standard S$500 per year withdrawal limit, or up to S$700 per year if the condition is listed under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP). Selected neurodevelopmental conditions may qualify — confirm with the clinic whether the child's specific diagnosis is CDMP-listed. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life may cover specialist consultations and any day procedures, subject to each plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider terms. Contact your insurer before the appointment to confirm coverage and whether pre-authorisation is required. For any planned series of assessments or interventions, ask the clinic for a written pre-treatment financial estimate that itemises the expected insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portion — this step prevents unexpected bills after assessments are completed.
