About Caregiver Asia

About Caregiver Asia

Caregiver Asia provides home nursing and eldercare services across Singapore, operating from its office at Goldhill Plaza. The listing is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. Its Google rating stands at 3.6 out of 5 across 43 reviews — a moderate sample that suggests mixed feedback, and prospective clients are encouraged to read individual reviews carefully before proceeding. No regulatory licences (such as AIC or MOH registration) are currently recorded on this listing, which is a gap worth raising directly with the provider given the clinical nature of home nursing services.

When engaging Caregiver Asia, the starting point is a care assessment covering the elder's mobility, medical diagnoses, daily living needs, and whether supervision or hands-on clinical care is required. From there, you will want to confirm the scope — personal care, wound dressing, medication management, or post-hospitalisation nursing — alongside the number of hours required each day and whether visit-based or live-in arrangements are available. Family decision-makers should be part of this conversation early, particularly where there are multiple siblings involved in care planning. A short trial period, if offered, is a practical way to assess caregiver compatibility before committing to a longer arrangement.

Contact Caregiver Asia by phone or via the enquiry form to request a care assessment and discuss availability for your required schedule.

Engaged a nurse for the care of my elderly grandma. The nurse was fantastic, professional and very skillful. Managed to get the nurse in within 24 hours of notice and the agent who helped me with this was extremely helpful. She ensured that I was constantly updated on the search and briefed me through the booking process very clearly.

I had a great experience with Caregiver Asia. Elaine from customer care arranged my request even at weekend. She is very efficient and helpful. Both nurses - Sky and Cheryl are professional and caring to my father. Good job & Thanks Caregiver!

Reached out to Caregiver Asia for urgent part time caregiver service for my grandmother and Kumari assisted in successfully finding a suitable nurse to attend to my grandmother who can start the very next day. Service is very fast and Kumari is very patient 👍🏻👍🏻 Although we did not engage the nurse service in the end, it is comforting to know there is always help available with Caregiver Asia.

*Update after Caregiver's response*: Caregiver Asia, please get your fact straight. I sent an email on Feb 1st to Eunice because I was surprised she didn't ask for a deposit, and asked again if we needed to put a deposit down, and she said there was no need. Only to pay in full one month before the service starts. As far as I knew, there were no indications that Aunty Christine wasn't confirmed. Accept the blame. I have to say this lack of ownership and accountability is shocking. It was your agency that didn't give me the correct information. Original review: This agency makes me question if there really is any use of having an agency/service for confinement nannies! I confirmed a nanny via Caregiver Asia for April, and reached out to them late last week to ask them to inform the nanny we may have to induce labor a little earlier - would she be ok with that, and also wanted to ask for a list of herbs she would need. The response: "Aunty Christine let me know that she is now engaged with other confirmed assignment n only available sept onwards. I regret to inform you our only confinement nanny currently has a case in march and I really couldn't reach out to Aunty Christine." You can imagine how desperate and helpless I felt after this, not to mention angry. Not only did I have to find out that this "Aunty Christine" was a big flake, the agency couldn't even find me a replacement! They should at the very least make the nannies sign some sort of agreement and take a deposit from the client. What a horrible service!!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Caregiver Asia charge?

Caregiver Asia prices its services on an hourly basis, which is the norm for visit-based home nursing in Singapore. Market rates for professional home nursing typically range from S$25 to S$60 per hour depending on the level of clinical training required, with higher rates applying to registered nurses versus healthcare assistants. Packages covering daily or weekly visit schedules may be available at a bundled rate. Additional costs to confirm in writing include public holiday and weekend surcharges, transport charges for islandwide coverage, and whether personal care consumables (gloves, wound dressings, incontinence products) are included or billed separately. See the full eldercare cost guide for Singapore →

Live-in or visit-based — which does Caregiver Asia offer?

Caregiver Asia is listed under home nursing, which typically means scheduled visit-based care rather than live-in arrangements. Visit-based nursing suits elders who are relatively stable and need periodic clinical support — wound care, medication administration, vital signs monitoring — rather than round-the-clock supervision. If your family needs a live-in arrangement, confirm directly whether Caregiver Asia can facilitate this or whether a separate FDW placement or residential care option would be more appropriate. When discussing scope, be specific about medical versus personal care tasks, as the two require different levels of nursing qualification. A trial period of one to two weeks is a reasonable request before entering any longer-term arrangement.

Is the caregiver trained and insured?

For home nursing services, the key credential to ask about is whether the assigned carer holds a valid nursing registration with the Singapore Nursing Board (under AHPC) or, for non-clinical personal care, a recognised healthcare assistant qualification such as the WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support. These can be verified on the AHPC public register. No AIC or MOH registration is currently recorded for Caregiver Asia on this listing — this is a material gap for a provider offering clinical home nursing, and you should ask the provider directly about its regulatory standing and whether it carries professional indemnity or public liability insurance covering caregiver injury and client incidents before engaging its services.
