About Chaiwalla Co Catering

About Chaiwalla Co Catering

Chaiwalla Co Catering is an event catering provider serving clients islandwide from its base at Bedok Food City. It holds a 4.8/5 rating across 271 Google reviews — a robust sample that reflects consistent customer experience. Pricing is displayed at the S$$ tier, and the per-pax model aligns with standard buffet and event catering practice in Singapore.

When planning an event with Chaiwalla Co Catering, begin by confirming your pax count and event format — standard buffet, mini-buffet for smaller gatherings, bento delivery, or live station — and establish a minimum headcount early, as most caterers require 30–50 pax for a full buffet setup and 8–15 pax for mini-buffets. Discuss the dietary mix at the outset: confirm which guests require halal, vegetarian, no-pork-no-lard, no-beef, or gluten-free options, and ask to see any relevant SFA or halal certification documentation. Enquire about what is included in the per-pax rate — chafing dishes, warmers, serving tongs, buffet attendant on-site, and teardown — versus what is billed separately, such as a delivery and setup fee for non-central addresses. A menu tasting before finalising the booking is advisable, particularly for larger events.

To take the next step, contact Chaiwalla Co Catering by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing to confirm date availability, your estimated pax count, dietary requirements, and delivery logistics before paying any deposit.

We have been engaging Eatz Catering for our weekly meetings for several years, and they have never once failed to meet, nor fallen short of our expectations. Their service has been consistently reliable and of high quality. In particular, their staff member James (Ah Heng) is always punctual, often arriving earlier than the requested time to set up the buffet spread. He also goes the extra mile by thoughtfully decorating the table, which truly enhances the overall experience.

Our sincere thanks to the team (Rahimah, Pandi, Junrie, Sathise, Prasanth, Siti, Sen, and Mon) for their exceptional efforts. Everything was well-organised and ran smoothly. The night shift bentos were delivered timely, and the morning event catering was executed seamlessly. The buffet setup was professionally arranged, and the food was very well-received by our staff — notably the Rojak, Rendang Chicken, Popiah, Croquette, and Dessert Island. We truly appreciate the excellent service provided.

We just had our company lunch party on 5th Feb 2026. From the start until the end, everything went smoothly. Delivery came on time and set up was done swiftly even though its a one man show. Most of the guests gave positive feedback about the food. They loved almost everything and my personal favourite will be the Punggol Mee Goreng. Your mee goreng is those wet type and its really yummy unlike some other caterers where their mee goreng is dry and taste is just average. Even your samosa is so tasty and not bland. Another good feedback is your chicken is also not dry but it is so moist and taste wise is also yummy. The only negative feedback we received is the drink is a bit sweet. Other than that, all is good. Special shout out to Hidayah from Eatz catering for rendering such an outstanding service. Thank you Eatz Catering team for providing such a great service and cooking delicious food 😋😋😋

A big thank you to for the amazing food and service at our event held on 20th September. The dishes tasted good, the food was kept warm, and the set-up was also beautifully presented, leaving our guests impressed and satisfied. Thank you for the complimentary cupcakes 😊 We highly recommend Eatz Catering for your events! A special thank you to Rahimah and Kevin for making sure everything was well-prepared and for recommending us to set up earlier. Also, our appreciation goes to the delivery and set-up staff: Pandiyan and Prasanth for their professionalism. They arrived on time, setting up everything seamlessly, and ensuring no disturbance while the event was ongoing. The set-up and tear down were done very neatly and smoothly. Thank you. Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Chaiwalla Co Catering charge per pax?

Chaiwalla Co Catering uses a per-pax pricing model, displayed at the S$$ tier. For context, Singapore market norms run S$15–25/pax for a standard buffet (minimum roughly 30–50 pax), S$25–40/pax for premium spreads, S$18–30/pax for mini-buffets (minimum 8–15 pax), and S$30–60/pax for live-station setups. Contact Chaiwalla Co Catering directly for their current per-pax rates and package options. When comparing quotes, confirm what is included: delivery and setup, chafing dishes and warmers, a buffet attendant on-site (typically S$80–150 per attendant where applicable), waste collection, and teardown. Delivery surcharges may apply for non-central addresses. GST and any service charge should be confirmed in writing before you pay a deposit. See the full catering cost guide for Singapore →

What dietary options and halal certification does Chaiwalla Co Catering offer?

When booking, confirm whether Chaiwalla Co Catering holds a MUIS halal certificate — the certificate should display a valid licence number and expiry date. 'Halal-friendly' or 'no pork no lard' without MUIS certification is not equivalent to certified halal and will not meet the standard for guests who require strict compliance. Ask to see the certificate before finalising. Beyond halal, discuss vegetarian (lacto-ovo vs vegan), no-beef options for Hindu guests, gluten-free, and nut-free requirements. For events with a mixed dietary guest list, ask about cross-contamination protocols — separate serving utensils and preparation areas matter. Most caterers at this scale offer a menu tasting for orders above a minimum value; request one before committing to a deposit.

Is Chaiwalla Co Catering licensed and how is food safety handled?

Legitimate caterers hold an SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence with a hygiene grade — A is the highest, followed by B, C, and D. No regulatory licences are currently listed on Chaiwalla Co Catering's KakiList profile; ask the provider directly to confirm their SFA licence number and current hygiene grade before booking, particularly for larger events. For food safety, cooked food should be served within a roughly 2–3 hour cooked-to-served window for hot dishes, maintained above 60°C in hot-hold equipment and below 5°C for cold items, per SFA guidelines. Confirm the setup arrival time, replenishment protocol during the event, and the policy for safe handling of leftovers. Confirm the SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence (and MUIS halal certificate where required), book a tasting before paying the deposit, and put the per-pax rate, minimum headcount, dietary mix, delivery and setup window, and balance schedule in writing.
