The listing is KakiList-verified, confirming that operating details and contact channels have been checked. Pricing is positioned in the mid-range ($$) on a per-pax model, in line with the Singapore buffet and event catering market.
Engaging a caterer typically begins with confirming your headcount and event format — standard buffet, mini-buffet, bento delivery, or live station — alongside the full dietary mix of your guest list: halal, vegetarian, no-pork-no-lard, no-beef, or gluten-free requirements. For events with Muslim guests, check whether the MUIS halal certificate covers the full kitchen or specific menu lines, and request to see the certificate number and validity dates. Most caterers offer a menu tasting before a deposit is paid for larger orders, which is worth arranging to confirm portion size, hot-hold quality, and flavour. Confirm delivery and setup timing, whether chafing dishes and warmers are provided or billed separately, whether a buffet attendant will be on-site, and the teardown and waste-collection arrangement at the end of the event.
To get started, reach Chevron House Catering by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing. Have your event date, venue address, expected headcount, and dietary requirements ready so they can confirm availability and provide an itemised quote.
Confirm the SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence (and MUIS halal certificate where required), book a tasting before paying the deposit, and put the per-pax rate, minimum headcount, dietary mix, delivery and setup window, and balance schedule in writing.
The customer service Jiaqi was very attentive to my order. Even I changed my mind due to family’s last min request, she still being professional and served me well. The setup was quick and efficient. The delivery staff did a good job👍🏻 The CNY wealthy menu was nice. Especially the noodles that surprised our guests. Our guests enjoyed the food. (I can tell how fast the food has gone, haha) The vegetarian menu also well prepared and delicious. Only small feedback is the dish of the tofu. If it changes to handmade tofu even better.
Our CNY Eve dinner was a lovely experience. The delivery was punctual and the food was well packaged. The Yusheng ingredients were fresh and tasty, and the dishes were still warm upon arrival. The flavours were well-balanced and suited our preferences. The desserts were also special and something we don’t usually find outside. Thank you Jiaqi and the team for making our reunion dinner enjoyable!

Ordered from How’s Catering for our 1st day of CNY family gathering and we were very satisfied. The food was delicious, nicely packed, and the portions were generous. The self-heating pad was a great feature — it kept the dishes warm without needing any extra equipment. Very convenient and fuss-free. Will definitely order again!

Timely Delivery The delivery was punctual, arriving exactly at 5:00 PM as scheduled, which ensured a smooth start to the event. 2. Comprehensive Cutlery The catering setup was thoughtfully prepared, with all necessary cutlery and accessories included. This covered a printed tablecloth, ladle, tongs, spoons, forks, and additional essentials, making the arrangement convenient and hassle-free. 3. Excellent Yusheng Presentation The yusheng was exceptionally flavorful, and How’s Catering provided every required item, including a disposable tablecloth, gloves, garbage bag, chopsticks, and plates. This made the preparation process seamless and enjoyable. 4. User-Friendly Self‑Heating Pot The self‑heating pot came with clear, easy‑to‑follow instructions. Its simplicity added to the overall convenience of the dining experience. 5. Generous Food Portions The portions were substantial and more than sufficient for over 20 guests. 6. Chevron House Catering uses a per-pax pricing model, consistent with the Singapore buffet catering market. Standard buffets typically run S$15–25 per pax with a minimum of around 30–50 pax; premium buffets with live stations or more elaborate spreads range from S$25–60 per pax. Mini-buffet packages for smaller groups of 8–15 pax generally sit at S$18–30 per pax, and bento delivery at S$8–18 per pax. Beyond the per-pax rate, confirm the following in writing: minimum order threshold, delivery and setup fee for your venue address, equipment rental (chafing dishes and warmers — sometimes included, sometimes billed separately), buffet attendant cost if on-site service is needed (typically S$80–150 per attendant), and GST. For non-central or landed venues, a delivery surcharge may apply. See the full catering cost guide for Singapore →
For events with Muslim guests, the key question is whether Chevron House Catering holds a MUIS halal certificate — and specifically whether that certification covers the kitchen or only selected menu items. A MUIS-issued certificate displays a licence number and validity dates; ask for a copy rather than accepting a verbal assurance. 'No pork no lard' without MUIS certification is not equivalent to certified halal and will not meet the standard for strictly observant guests. Beyond halal, confirm whether the menu covers vegetarian (lacto-ovo vs vegan), no-beef options for Hindu guests, gluten-free, and nut-free requirements. For mixed dietary events, ask about cross-contamination protocols — separate serving utensils, labelled dishes, and preparation segregation all matter. Contact Chevron House Catering directly to confirm current halal status and available menu options, and request a tasting before committing to a deposit for larger orders.
Legitimate caterers operating in Singapore hold an SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence, with a hygiene grade — A is highest, then B, C, D. No regulatory licences are currently listed for Chevron House Catering in this directory; ask them directly to confirm their SFA licence number and current hygiene grade before booking, especially for events above 30 pax where food-safety accountability matters. For food safety at the event, cooked hot dishes should be served within a roughly 2–3 hour cooked-to-served window, held above 60°C using appropriate warmers. Confirm the setup arrival time, buffet replenishment protocol, and the policy for safe handling of leftovers at teardown. Confirm the SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence (and MUIS halal certificate where required), book a tasting before paying the deposit, and put the per-pax rate, minimum headcount, dietary mix, delivery and setup window, and balance schedule in writing.
