Children’s Cove offers early childhood education programmes that focus on holistic learning and development. The school provides a structured environment designed to support young learners during their early years.
My son attended this school for 11 months in 2025 and experienced six teacher changes during that time including four Chinese teachers and two English teachers in his class. The teacher turnover rate is extremely high, and the remaining teachers were forced to take on heavier workloads, which reflects poor school management. One Chinese teacher whom my son really liked was suddenly asked to leave without any proper explanation or transition period, which was upsetting for both the children and parents. In addition, 1-2 years old students were given excessive homework and constantly asked to bring various items to school two to three times a week, creating a heavy and unreasonable burden for parents. Despite the school’s promise during our campus visit that there were only two PN classes, it rapidly expanded to four classes, which further affected stability and quality. In addition, the food provided is of very low quality — children are often served only plain white porridge almost every day. Some parents have had to prepare lunch boxes so their children can eat better. My son frequently comes home asking for food even though he has just had lunch at school. Overall, this has been a disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this school.
My daughter loves coming to school. She has the best teachers - zhao laoshi and teacher sulyn. They never fail to take their time to understand her, to love her and to teach her right from wrong.
The school highly value the project and teamwork. Children learns about integrity, teamwork and respect as they build their term project. Teachers are patience and nurturing. My childs are quite happy here.
Highly recommended preschool nested in nature. Children are not confined indoors, they get to explore, enjoy outdoor activities and learn about being environmentally friendly. The school admin team and teachers are excellent, everything is communicated through the school app - from parent involvement activities to weekly updates on learnings and photo updates.

Children's Cove is listed at a mid-range ($$) monthly price point. Exact fees are best confirmed directly with the centre, as playgroup rates in Singapore typically vary by session frequency, programme duration, and age group. When enquiring, ask about any one-time registration fee, the deposit required to secure a place (commonly equivalent to one to two months' fees), and whether uniform or insurance costs apply separately. Childcare and playgroup fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the quoted monthly figure should be the amount you pay. Always request a written fee schedule before committing. Government subsidies for childcare and playgroup in Singapore are administered by ECDA and are available to Singapore citizen children only. The Basic Subsidy provides up to S$300 per month for childcare (or up to S$600 for infant care). The Additional Subsidy is income-tested and can bring combined support up to S$710 per month for eligible lower-income families. The Working Mother's Child Development Subsidy provides further support where the mother works at least 56 hours per month. Permanent resident children may qualify for partial subsidies. Whether these subsidies apply at Children's Cove depends on the centre's ECDA licensing status and the specific programme type. Confirm eligibility directly with the centre and with ECDA, as subsidy quanta and qualifying criteria are subject to change. For current figures, refer to the ECDA website at ecda.gov.sg.
Demand for playgroup and childcare places in Singapore can be high, particularly at well-regarded centres. It is advisable to enquire at least three to six months ahead of your intended start date. Infant care places in particular are often sought six to twelve months in advance. January is the peak intake month for most programmes aligned to the school calendar, so families targeting a start at the beginning of the year should plan accordingly. To secure a place, centres typically require payment of a registration fee and a deposit. Contact Children's Cove directly by phone or via their enquiry form to ask about current availability for your child's age group and preferred start month.
