My child and I started seeing Karen in 2023 and we are so grateful that we did. Before working with Karen, my son was facing increasing difficulties both in school and at home. He was a challenge to understand and prone to outbursts. What was common sense to others was not so for my son and this resulted in a lot of arguments and tension. It came to a point where I was reluctant and even afraid to interact with my son. Karen was able to help me see that his behaviour was typical of a person with autism. She listened to our issues patiently and helped us to navigate through the sea of frustration and overwhelm. She was very sharp to help me prioritize the specific areas I could work on first for visible results. For example, making sure that my son had enough sleep was critical for his regulation and she was right! Having enough sleep made a significant difference in my son’s ability to regulate. Her approach was focused, evidenced-based and most importantly doable. This was not to say that it was easy to implement, and I would often encounter difficulties. However, Karen was always ready to go back to the drawing board with us, troubleshoot and help encourage us to stay on track and the proof is in the pudding. My son received the Edusave Good Progress award and was promoted to a higher ability second language class this year. He also has more meaningful interactions with others. Most importantly I now feel hopeful and more confident in my ability to nurture and understand my son.

I was referred to Anna by my psychiatrist and was with her for therapy for about a year. One thing that was very helpful was the intentionality in every session, to address what i was experiencing and how to cope with the emotions or struggles moving forward. What was different from other sessions i had previously gone to was the constant progress tracking and affirmations i received from Anna. Personally, she has helped me to better manage my perspective on how i evaluated my emotions and the impact of my emotions. I still apply what i have learnt as i navigate through the different stressors of school and life. She has also been extremely patient and supportive in different ways throughout my journey with her. One example i can remember would be that i felt less anxious progressively and was less ashamed about my struggles with my mental health. If you need guidance or advice in the area of mental wellbeing, i would definitely recommend Anna.

This clinic - and in particular the psychologist Jean Tan - gives one of the most robust and accurate ADHD/Autism diagnoses and counselling treatments I’ve come across in my experience when it comes to finding ethical and earnest mental health clinicians. My experience with her and her associate showcased a breadth of experience and skillsets that equip them to swiftly discern and identify issues with conviction that many other professionals often miss, especially in females. She is thoroughly professional and more importantly, is always able to offer the quickest and most straightforward effective steps to manage a myriad of complex overlapping disorders simply where many others have missed the mark. What also impressed me is her heartfelt determination to help her clients heal as quickly as possible. Highly recommend if you need accurate assessments and/or diagnoses done ethically and with lots of heart.
