About Da Paolo Catering

About Da Paolo Catering

Da Paolo Catering provides islandwide event catering from its base at Raffles City Shopping Centre, operating on a per-pax pricing model. The listing is KakiList-verified, confirming active operating details and a reachable contact channel. With 4.2 out of 5 across 1,036 Google reviews, the rating carries a robust sample and is a meaningful signal of consistent delivery. No regulatory licences are recorded on this listing, so families and event organisers should confirm the SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence and hygiene grade directly with the company before booking.

For any catering enquiry, begin by confirming your guest count and whether the event requires a buffet, mini-buffet, bento delivery, or live-station format. Da Paolo positions itself in the Italian and continental catering space, so discuss the dietary mix early — halal certification, vegetarian, no-beef, and gluten-free options should be confirmed in writing, along with the MUIS certificate number if halal is required. Most caterers require a minimum headcount of 30–50 pax for buffets and 8–15 for mini-buffets. Ask about delivery and setup timing, whether chafing dishes and warmers are included or billed separately, whether a buffet attendant can be arranged, and what the teardown window is. A menu tasting before signing is standard practice for orders of meaningful size.

Reach Da Paolo Catering via phone or the online enquiry form to discuss your event date, pax count, dietary requirements, and preferred menu format, and request the full cost breakdown including delivery, equipment, staffing, and any GST before committing.

This is my go-to whenever I want to slow down and truly enjoy me time with nourishing, honest food. Everything here feels thoughtfully prepared: top-notch ingredients, always fresh, beautifully cooked, and very fairly priced. What really elevates the experience is the team. The energy is uplifting, the service is warm, and you genuinely feel cared for. A special shout-out to Miss Joy, she lives up to her name and always makes my meal a little more pleasant, a little more joyful (eee cheesy pun detected) Thank you team!

Food is mediocre while service is virtually non existent. From ordering via QR code to paying online even before food is served. Drinking water also self serve. I'm wondering what the 10% service intended for. Pizzas are also so so, Oso Bucco is missing the shank bone but a few chunks of meat and portion is by far the tiniest Oso Bucco I've ever seen served. Last visited their older outlet in Holland and this reminds me why I nvr visit them in past 20 years. Though the prices are not very exp but for the same price I can easily find better tasting french or other Italian elsewhere. Definitely won't be back.

We came at lunch time on a weekday and fortunately it’s not too crowd. One staff show us the way to a table and informed how to order from the QR code. We ordered three menus. The pasta and the cake were served fast enough, but the salad did came a bit later than the other menu which is strange because their salad are all ready-made and they only need to warm it though. I almost finish the other two menus when the salad was served (they almost served us wrong dish too and it turns out it’s for another table). The food tastes great, portion good, service just normal.

Excellent cafe for coffee and breakfast in the heart of Singapore city hall. The food is fresh, coffee is exceptionally good, for my favourite piccolo latte. Best of all, the staff is very friendly. Especially calling out to Fiti who always smile and helpful.

Ordered the Meat Lover and was really disappointed. The crust was undercooked, and the pizza was far too saucy. It had a strong BBQ sauce taste, but BBQ sauce isn’t mentioned in the listed ingredients. If I’d known it included BBQ sauce, I would never have ordered it because I hate BBQ sauce.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Da Paolo Catering charge per pax?

Per-pax pricing at Da Paolo Catering sits in a mid-to-premium band consistent with Italian and continental catering in Singapore. As a general market reference, standard buffets run S$15–25/pax, premium buffets S$25–40/pax, mini-buffets for smaller groups S$18–30/pax with a minimum of 8–15 pax, and live-station spreads S$30–60/pax. Confirm the exact rate and minimum headcount directly with Da Paolo, as pricing varies by menu selection and event type. Beyond the per-pax figure, confirm what is included: delivery and setup for your address (non-central locations may carry a surcharge), chafing dishes and warmers, a buffet attendant if required (typically S$80–150 per attendant), waste collection, and GST. What dietary options and halal certification does Da Paolo Catering offer?

Da Paolo Catering specialises in Italian and continental cuisine, so confirm upfront which dietary tracks are available for your guest list. Key questions: is there a MUIS-issued halal certificate covering the kitchen or the specific menu being ordered? 'No pork no lard' without MUIS certification is not the same as certified halal and will not meet the standard for guests who require strict halal compliance. Ask for the certificate number and validity dates. Also confirm vegetarian options (lacto-ovo versus fully vegan), no-beef dishes for Hindu guests, and whether gluten-free or nut-free alternatives can be accommodated. For mixed-dietary events, ask about cross-contamination protocols between halal and non-halal preparation areas. Most reputable caterers offer a tasting session for orders above a minimum value — book this before signing any contract, as menu descriptions rarely convey portion size, seasoning level, or suitability for a diverse guest list.

Is Da Paolo Catering licensed and how is food safety handled?

Legitimate caterers operating in Singapore hold an SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence with a hygiene grade — A is the highest, followed by B, C, and D. No regulatory licences are currently recorded on this listing, so request the SFA licence number and hygiene grade directly from Da Paolo Catering before booking. If halal meals are required, a MUIS certificate should also be visible on the company's materials or available on request. For food safety at the event, cooked hot dishes should be served within a 2–3 hour cooked-to-served window, held above 60°C. Confirm the setup arrival time, hot-hold arrangements during service, buffet replenishment protocol for longer events, and the policy for safe handling of leftovers. Confirm the SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence, book a tasting before paying the deposit, and put the per-pax rate, minimum headcount, dietary mix, delivery and setup window, and balance schedule in writing.
