About Dr Alison Snodgrass Paediatrics PEPC
Dr Alison Snodgrass Paediatrics PEPC is a paediatric specialist practice based at Gleneagles Medical Centre, 6 Napier Rd, #09-05, Singapore 258499. The practice is KakiList-verified, with a 4.0/5 rating across 64 Google reviews — a moderate sample that provides a reasonable directional signal. No ACRA registration or regulatory licences have been supplied to KakiList at this time, so prospective patients are encouraged to verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration independently before booking.
As a private paediatric specialist, the practice sees children from birth through adolescence for concerns spanning development and growth milestones, the National Childhood Immunisation Programme (NIP) schedule, acute illness, allergy, and referral-based specialist reviews. Parents can approach directly as a walk-in private specialist — expect a first consultation fee in the S$120–250 range, payable at the point of service — or arrive with a polyclinic or GP referral letter, which does not change the private fee but can facilitate medical records transfer. Investigations such as blood panels, urine cultures, or allergy testing are billed separately from the consultation. Integrated Shield Plan holders should check their policy's outpatient specialist coverage and co-insurance rules ahead of the visit, as most IP riders cover private specialist consultations subject to deductible thresholds. MediSave withdrawal under the Chronic Disease Management Programme may apply for eligible chronic childhood conditions.
To book an appointment, contact Dr Alison Snodgrass Paediatrics PEPC by phone or through the enquiry form listed on this page, and bring your child's health booklet, vaccination records, and any prior specialist letters to the first consultation.

Dr. Alison is a very good pediatrician. She explains everything clearly, takes time to make sure her explanations are well understood, and has a friendly, reassuring approach. I really appreciate the quality of care she provides. However, the waiting time is extremely long, and no one informs you in advance. I had an appointment at 9:30am but only saw the doctor at 10:55am. This doesn’t feel like a true appointment system, and it makes planning very difficult, especially for parents with young children. It would be very helpful if the clinic staff could be upfront about expected waiting times when booking, so families can plan accordingly. The doctor is great, but the clinic’s time management and communication need improvement.
My 3 boys has been seeing Dr Alison for years. She has always been very patience, attentive and definitely a very understanding doctor and that speak for the long waiting time but its all worth the wait. I have to thank the extremely capable and helpful front desk staff who has been helping me with scheduling my boys appointment and getting my no 2 recent admission hazzle free even with shortage of manpower. Thank you for your help team! And i definitely highly recommend anyone to Dr Alison.
Went to the clinic for a follow up after giving birth. Dr Ratna was assigned to us by Gleneagle. The doctor did not give us any useful advice on our feeding issue, rashes and eye issue. Just mentioned that it will go away after awhile. The price of the consultation do not justify the service provided.
Booked a 10:30am appointment with Dr. Alison nearly 3 weeks in advance. 1 hour 15 minutes later, I am writing this review and yet to see her. Waiting time is completely ridiculous if scheduled appointments are not going to be honoured. Front desk receptionist certainly have their hands full, but rather than approach customers with comprehension, it is usually approached with aggression and “it is what it is” mentality. Rather than setting expectations at entry, customers are left feeling with lost time. Witnessed multiple individuals approach the front desk during this time - not just our family. Clinic is otherwise clean and there are toys for the kids to play with too. Dr. Alison is calm, well spoken, and competent and would definitely recommend her as a paediatrician if the rest of the operational processes can be resolved.
5 stars for Dr Ratna for her diagnosis. Unlike few previous doctors we’ve met Dr Ratna was the first one to deep dive into the issue and ask questions in regards to our child’s concerns and suggesting medicine accordingly . Would recommend Dr Ratna for your child’s concerns. However the front desk staff can improve their service.

As a private paediatric specialist at Gleneagles Medical Centre, the first consultation is typically in the S$120–250 range, with follow-up visits running S$80–180. These fees are separate from any investigations ordered on the day — a routine blood panel runs S$60–200, urine cultures S$30–80, and allergy or skin-prick testing varies by the number of allergens tested. GST applies on private medical services. For planned procedures or day surgery, request a written financial counselling estimate from the clinic before proceeding. This should itemise your Integrated Shield Plan payout, any MediSave deduction, and the out-of-pocket portion — getting this in writing before paying any deposit is the single most important step to avoid surprise billing. Every legitimate private specialist clinic in Singapore holds an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory online. The consulting doctor should be individually registered with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC); you can search by name at smc.gov.sg to confirm active registration, specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine, and any disciplinary history. For paediatric specialists, a Royal College or Academy of Medicine Singapore fellowship (MRCPCH, FAMS in Paediatric Medicine) is the meaningful additional credential beyond basic SMC registration. No regulatory licences have been provided to KakiList for this listing. KakiList strongly recommends verifying the MOH clinic licence and Dr Snodgrass's SMC entry directly before booking — neither alone is sufficient, and both should be current.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life can cover private specialist consultations and day surgery subject to the plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. For any planned procedure, confirm pre-authorisation and request a Letter of Guarantee from your insurer before the procedure date to avoid claim disputes after the fact. MediSave can be used for selected outpatient items under the MediSave 500/700 withdrawal limits — S$500 per year for general outpatient and S$700 per year for conditions covered under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which includes asthma and certain other chronic childhood conditions. For routine paediatric consultations and acute illness visits, most claims are paid out of pocket or through IP outpatient riders. Ask the clinic's front desk at the time of booking which payment modes are accepted and whether a pre-authorisation letter is needed for your specific insurer.
