About Dr Goh Han Meng Paediatrics

About Dr Goh Han Meng Paediatrics

Dr Goh Han Meng Paediatrics is a paediatric clinic located at 319 Joo Chiat Place, Level 3, serving families across Singapore. The clinic has been verified by KakiList, meaning a real person confirmed its operating details and contact channel. It holds a 3.4/5 rating across 56 Google reviews — a moderate sample size, though the rating sits below the 4.0 threshold that typically signals consistent patient satisfaction, and prospective patients may wish to read individual reviews carefully before booking. No regulatory licences are currently listed in this profile, and no ACRA registration has been confirmed; parents are advised to verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting paediatrician's SMC registration independently before attending.

For a first visit, parents can reach the clinic by phone or through the online enquiry form. A paediatric consultation typically covers presenting concerns — fever, respiratory symptoms, skin conditions, developmental questions — alongside a review of vaccination history against the National Childhood Immunisation Programme (NIP) schedule and developmental milestone screening appropriate for the child's age. Investigations such as a blood panel, throat swab, or urine dipstick may be ordered at the same visit depending on the clinical picture, and any prescription or follow-up plan should be explained clearly before discharge. For planned procedures or specialist referrals, ask the clinic for a written cost estimate that itemises consultation fees, investigations, and out-of-pocket portions after MediSave or Integrated Shield Plan (IP) deductions.

Contact Dr Goh Han Meng Paediatrics by phone or via the enquiry form on KakiList to confirm current appointment availability, consultation fees, and whether your child's Integrated Shield Plan is accepted before attending.

Visited during a very busy time in the evening with my poorly daughter. The receptionist was busy but ensured we were looked after and registered properly. Dr. Siva was very knowledgeable and experienced to diagnose and follow up with a phone call. Thanks to all the team.

Our usual PD was closed so we came here. There was already a queue 15min before opening, but we were third in line so it wasn’t too long a wait. Registration was smooth. Dr Goh was wonderful with our kid and very patient in explaining everything.

1 star to the reception and Dr Cheng. - newborn check for jaundice scheduled - Dr Cheng clearly told us to be there before 10am - arrived at 945am with a severe jaundice (291 for day 4), persistent sleepiness, tea coloured pee, poor feeding (can't stay awake for even 3 min to drink milk) - Dr cheng wasnt even in clinic to do a physical assessment and dismissed us to go home to monitor at home with a phototherapy machine for rental. Upon asking for more info, receptionist just said "they will send the machine to your home and explain. Doctor is not here today and anyway it will be more convenient for you than admitting to hospital" - when asked to see another doctor who is in the clinic the receptionist said "you don't have an appointment with another doctor so you will have to wait" this is despite having an appt with Dr Cheng who was not in. - we waited till 11am and finally saw Dr Goh who thankfully made the decision to admit our child for double light phototherapy treatment for 2 nights - one day later the readings have dropped from 291 to 230 and he is able to stay awake to drink milk If I were a first time mother, inexperienced to the signs of severe jaundice and had blindly listened to the receptionist, I shudder to think of what might have happened to my newborn one more day later. 5 stars to Dr Goh who stepped in to help. Dr Goh was patient and thorough in his check up for our newborn who has severe jaundice and was swift in admitting him for phototherapy treatment. He also displayed great empathy and understanding towards worried parents and was very patient in explaining the treatment and condition of our child.

Dr Goh is indeed very patient with children, he would even actively take down notes during consultation to ensure accurate and detailed diagnosis. He also never rushes during his consultation, and would go an extra mile to explain everything to the parents.

Dr Goh was incredibly detailed and patient in explaining the various possible causes of my daughter’s condition. He takes a reasonable approach and does not push for unnecessary tests, while still giving sufficient information for parents to make informed decisions. Was also friendly towards my child and made her feel at ease. The receptionists were also kind and friendly. Thanks Dr Goh and team!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Dr Goh Han Meng Paediatrics charge?

Private paediatric consultations in Singapore typically run S$120–250 for a first visit and S$80–180 for follow-up reviews. On top of the consultation fee, common add-ons include NIP or travel vaccinations (S$30–80 per dose depending on the vaccine), blood or swab investigations (S$60–200 depending on the panel), and any prescribed medications. GST applies on private medical services. If your child holds a referral letter from a polyclinic or GP to a public hospital specialist outpatient clinic (SOC), the subsidised rate for Singapore Citizens runs S$30–80 per visit with waits of 4–12 weeks for non-urgent cases — though this pathway is separate from a private paediatric clinic such as this one. For any planned procedure, request a written financial counselling estimate from the clinic that splits insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket cost before proceeding. Is Dr Goh Han Meng Paediatrics MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No regulatory licences are currently recorded in this KakiList profile, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed. Before attending, parents should independently verify two things: first, that the clinic premises hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — searchable on the MOH licensee directory; second, that the consulting paediatrician is on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, with specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine confirmed. Neither verification alone is sufficient — a licensed clinic must be staffed by an SMC-registered doctor, and an SMC-registered doctor must practise from a properly licensed premises. The SMC register also displays any disciplinary history, which is worth checking. Given that no licences are listed in this profile, direct confirmation from the clinic is strongly recommended before booking.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Dr Goh Han Meng Paediatrics?

Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life can cover paediatric specialist consultations, investigations, and day procedures subject to the plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. For any planned procedure, request pre-authorisation and a Letter of Guarantee from your insurer before attending to avoid claim disputes after the fact. MediSave can be used for selected outpatient items under the MediSave 500/700 withdrawal limits — S$500 per year for general outpatient use, S$700 per year under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers a defined list of chronic conditions. Childhood vaccinations under the NIP schedule may also qualify for MediSave use. Ask the clinic to confirm at the time of booking which services are claimable and to provide a written financial counselling estimate that itemises the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions — this step prevents surprises at the billing counter.
