About Dr Kenneth Chua Thomson Paediatric Centre Punggol
Dr Kenneth Chua Thomson Paediatric Centre Punggol is a paediatric clinic located at Waterway Point in Punggol, serving families across Singapore. The practice is KakiList-verified, meaning a real person has confirmed the operating details and contact channel. It holds a 4.6-star rating across 285 Google reviews, which represents a robust sample and provides a reliable signal of patient satisfaction. No ACRA registration or regulatory licence details are currently listed on this profile, and prospective patients are encouraged to verify both the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration directly before booking.
A first visit to a private paediatric clinic typically begins with a consultation covering your child's presenting concern — whether that is a fever, respiratory illness, skin condition, developmental milestone query, or vaccination under the National Childhood Immunisation Programme (NIP). The consulting paediatrician will take a history, examine the child, and recommend investigations (such as a blood panel or swab) or prescriptions where clinically indicated. For ongoing developmental concerns, the paediatrician may refer to allied-health services or a developmental specialist. Private specialist first consultations in Singapore typically run S$120–250, with follow-up reviews at S$80–180, and investigations billed separately. Parents using an Integrated Shield Plan should confirm pre-authorisation requirements with their insurer before a planned procedure or day surgery.
To make an appointment, contact the clinic directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form, and bring your child's health booklet and vaccination records to the first visit.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Always wonderful experience visiting Doctor Kenneth! The whole team has always been friendly, caring and helpful. My baby daugther is very active and they always know how to handle her! Would definitely visit the clinic for any future check up :)
Dr Kenneth is very friendly and knowledgeable. We always thankful for his expertise advice and consultation. The staffs are friendly too. Like their new queue number system also so we don’t need to wait at the clinic for long time.
Here my honest review about this clinic, I wish I can give Doctor Chua 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ but Google only rate overall for the clinic. Doctor Chua was an amazing Doctor! He's the best compare all the pedia i go before (like a lot ), I have met lots of Paediatrician already , Is just I have compare Doctor Chua as a very kind doctor and have a very big patience to all your queries he will let you feel comfortable too! Ok I give 2 star because of the receptionist. The one who always do the billing (especially) she is rude. She don't like repeating questions ,she will show irritated face at you which is so rude. Well I never say anything until I go back again bring my child and here she is again she's just so irritated. I don't think she fits this job , if you don't have patience then at least act nice . I can't just control my self not to review. Doctor Chua still the best. Except their reception.
Great experience at the clinic. Efficient queue system and knowledgeable doctor. The nurses here are very friendly and helpful too.

Private paediatric consultations in Singapore typically run S$120–250 for a first specialist visit and S$80–180 for follow-up reviews. Common add-ons include NIP vaccinations (S$30–80 per dose for government-subsidised doses, or higher for optional vaccines such as varicella or rotavirus), blood panels (S$60–200), nasal or throat swabs, and prescription medication. GST applies on private medical services. For any planned procedure or day surgery, the clinic should provide a written financial counselling estimate that splits insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before you proceed. Singapore Citizens and PRs can use MediSave under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for selected outpatient conditions, within the S$500–700 annual withdrawal limits. For routine outpatient paediatric visits, standard MediSave cannot be used — payment is out-of-pocket or via an Integrated Shield Plan rider. See the full paediatric cost guide for Singapore →
Every legitimate private clinic in Singapore holds an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. No licence details are currently listed on this KakiList profile, so you should confirm the clinic's licence status directly with the clinic or via the MOH directory before booking. Every practising doctor must also be registered on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg. Search for the consulting doctor by name to confirm their registration status, specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine, and any disciplinary history. For a paediatric specialist, fellowship credentials such as FAMS (Paediatric Medicine) or equivalent Royal College membership are the meaningful additional qualifiers beyond basic SMC registration. Confirm both the clinic's MOH licence and the doctor's SMC entry before your child's first appointment.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life can cover private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays, subject to your plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. For any planned procedure, request pre-authorisation and a Letter of Guarantee from your insurer before the appointment to avoid claim disputes after the fact. MediSave outpatient withdrawal is generally limited for routine paediatric visits — the MediSave 500/700 scheme applies to CDMP-listed chronic conditions rather than standard acute childhood illnesses. NIP vaccinations under the government schedule may qualify for MediSave withdrawal at approved clinics; optional vaccines typically do not. The clinic's patient service team can confirm which items are MediSave-claimable and provide an itemised pre-treatment estimate splitting insurance, MediSave, and cash portions before any procedure. Skipping this step is the most common cause of unexpected bills. See the full paediatric cost guide for Singapore →
