I was one of the patiences here, and I had a miserable experience there. I really do hope the pharmacist nurses can really improve on their attitude and handling solutions. I had made a call through imh hotline before that I would wan to increase my medication, and afterwards yes I was inform that I can collect my medication, and when I get there, your pharmacist nurses said that my call did not mentioned the other medication I wish to increase, and worst of all i did told this pharmacist nurse that please increase for me, and worst come after worst there is no conformation and that I can collect my the other increase medication so I did come back again because of other appointment and tried addressing that is my medication had conformation towards my request increase, and really that's, the nurses say that there is no record. What kind of treatment is this seriously?? it makes me feel that this pharmacist nurses are not serious with us all patience. Therefore I really really wish that your all can be really probably trained for the goodness well Really appreciate it. Thanks.

Outpatient here for ADHD treatment. Biggest mistake of my life choosing IMH instead of a private psychiatrist. Long wait times are just one issue. Psychiatrists also kept delaying the treatment process - for starters, though ADHD symptoms were clear, they claimed I have NO ADHD! Even after I eventually got diagnosed, though I was a clear cut case? They still refused to give meds for another 4 months, insisting I try strategies first. He even insulted me by writing on the notes I was “fixated on medication”. Even after I was prescribed meds? The doctor insisted my mom hold onto my meds, and only gave 1 week. Tried asking for more and explaining I have goals in my studies, but he kept refusing and told me not to worry about school during my holiday period. What an insult! As if he should be telling me how to live my life?? Costed months of progress. Summary: the IMH doctors completely ignored my needs. If you have ADHD concerns, go to a private psychiatrist specialised in ADHD, not IMH. Big-time mistake trusting IMH. Edit: okay it was 1 star but I change to 2 stars.. I may have forgotten to include my context but I’m an older minor - IMH is generally more conservative with meds for minors than adults. So my tip for yall is, get a subsidised slot in IMH (via referral from a polyclinic), but just start treatment with a private psychiatrist first! The wait is generally 1-3 months - I was already lucky to wait 3 weeks. If you’ve found your optimal dose (assuming you wanna go medication-first like me), great! Tell your IMH psychiatrist about your diagnosis and dose and how it’s working. From there you get government subsidy for life 😎

As much as i am grateful for imh managing on my mum’s condition. I believe is imh duty to inform patients whether they can choose to opt for tele consultation at times. My mum need to regularly go for appointments and now she no longer need to take her medication, her condition is stablise. Still have to go all the way to imh just for doctor to say and ask everything is ok then go. I wrote an email to feedback and complaint on this matter. I got a reply from them. But my question is, if patient doesn’t ask about teleconsult, they wouldn’t suggest?

Therapists are extremely disinterest in actual case treatment. The main thing they focus on is their fee structure (including time you're paying for therapy). Extremely greedy and money hungry behavior for a public health institution
