About Dr Liew Woei Kang Paediatric Allergy
Dr Liew Woei Kang Paediatric Allergy is a paediatric specialist practice based at Mount Elizabeth Novena Specialist Centre, serving families islandwide. The practice has been verified by KakiList, and holds a 4.8-out-of-5 rating across 26 Google reviews — a moderate sample that broadly indicates patient satisfaction, though parents should weigh this alongside other due-diligence steps. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier; specific consultation fees were not provided and should be confirmed directly with the clinic.
For a first appointment, parents typically contact the clinic by phone or through the enquiry form to describe the child's presenting concern — common referral reasons in paediatric allergy include eczema, food allergy, allergic rhinitis, asthma, and drug or insect-sting reactions. Private specialist consultations in Singapore typically run S$120–250 for a first visit and S$80–180 for follow-ups; a polyclinic referral letter may be relevant if you are routing through a subsidised pathway, though this practice operates from a private specialist centre. Investigations such as skin-prick testing, specific IgE blood panels, or pulmonary function tests may be arranged at the same visit or scheduled separately, and parents should ask for a written estimate of the full cost before proceeding.
To make an appointment, contact Dr Liew Woei Kang Paediatric Allergy by phone or via the online enquiry form on the clinic's website, and bring any prior allergy test results, a list of current medications, and a summary of the child's reaction history to the first consultation.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Dr Liew has been taking care of both my children whenever they are sick or hospitalised. He is always so composed, patience in explaining to us in layman terms and caring. We are so glad we met him in this parenthood journey. He don’t just treat illness but also taught us parents how to manage at home in future. His staffs have been very helpful too. We can see they are pressured and trying to do their best.
Dr Liew is always composed whenever we have a concern about our baby. He listens and provides constructive advices which is super useful for first time parents like us. We put our full trust in him! Thank you Dr Liew, its great to have you as our baby's PD. The counter staff is also very patient and professional. They are always careful when attending to my baby.
Dr Liew is an exceptional and caring doctor who truly goes the extra mile for his patients. He was attentive, patient, and thorough in addressing my daughter’s condition. We are especially grateful for his prompt assistance in providing a medical memo when we needed it urgently. His professionalism and compassion left a very deep impression on us.
Highly HIGHLY recommend Dr Liew! One of our friends recommended him when we wanted to switch our paediatrician and it was really the best decision! He is extremely gentle with our baby, patient with all our questions (and we have many since we are first time parents!) and is clearly experienced and knowledgeable. The nurses and receptionists in the clinic are responsive and able to answer some of our queries - it is evident he has trained them well. Thank you Dr Liew and clinic!
Dr Liew was the paediatrician of my first child since birth at Mount E Novena, and we also kindly requested for him to be the PD during the birth of my second child. Dr Liew is a very patient and caring doctor who would always take the time to fully understand our concerns and the condition of my child. Consultations with him never felt rushed and he would always address any queries we have. Being worried parents when we see our kids fall ill, Dr Liew's calm and patient demeanour as well as clear action plans to tackle the condition puts our minds at ease after each visit and we are very appreciative of that. We would also like to express our gratitude towards Dr Liew who took time out of his working hours to speak with us urgently as we needed a second opinion when our son was warded at KKH when he was barely two months old - we are so thankful to have met such a caring and kind PD to our kids. Also, the care would not be possible without the support of the staffs at the clinic (Ann, Regina and Serene), who are always responsive and would help to schedule our appointments with Dr Liew. Would highly recommend Dr Liew for his meticulous care. :)

Specific fees were not published at the time of this listing, so the figures below reflect Singapore private specialist market norms that you should verify directly with the clinic. A first paediatric specialist consultation typically runs S$120–250; follow-up visits S$80–180. Common add-ons in a paediatric allergy setting include skin-prick testing (S$80–200 depending on the panel size), specific IgE blood panels (S$100–300+), spirometry or lung function tests (S$80–150), and prescription costs. GST applies to private medical services. For any planned investigation or procedure, ask the clinic for a written financial counselling estimate that separates the consultation fee, diagnostic costs, and any treatment charges. If you hold an Integrated Shield Plan, confirm pre-authorisation requirements with your insurer before the appointment. See the full paediatric cost guide for Singapore →
No regulatory licences were listed for this provider at the time of publication. Every legitimate private specialist clinic in Singapore must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory. Every practising doctor must also appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg; searching by name will confirm registration status, specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine, and any disciplinary history. Parents should confirm both the clinic's MOH licence and the consulting doctor's SMC specialist accreditation before booking. The absence of licences in this listing may reflect a data gap rather than non-compliance, but verification is essential — do not rely on this listing alone.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life can cover private specialist consultations, day procedures, and inpatient admissions, subject to the plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider terms. Confirm pre-authorisation with your insurer and, where relevant, request a Letter of Guarantee before any planned procedure to avoid disputes after the fact. MediSave can be used for selected outpatient items under the S$500 general withdrawal limit or the S$700 limit under the Chronic Disease Management Programme, which covers conditions including asthma. Paediatric allergy investigations such as skin-prick testing and IgE panels are generally self-pay at a private specialist. For any planned procedure, request a written financial counselling estimate from the clinic that itemises the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before committing.
