About Dr Stephanie Ho Dermatology

About Dr Stephanie Ho Dermatology

Dr Stephanie Ho Dermatology is a private dermatology clinic located at Scotts Medical Center, Pacific Plaza, on Orchard Road, offering islandwide access via WhatsApp, phone, and an online enquiry form. The clinic holds a 4.6/5 rating across 237 Google reviews, a robust sample that provides a reliable indication of patient experience. No regulatory licences have been provided in the listing data, and the clinic does not appear in the ACRA business registry, so prospective patients are advised to verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting dermatologist's Singapore Medical Council registration directly before booking.

Dermatology appointments at a private specialist clinic typically begin with a first consultation (S$120–250 for a private specialist), during which the dermatologist reviews presenting skin conditions — including acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin infections, hair and nail disorders, and paediatric skin conditions — and recommends a diagnostic or treatment pathway. Investigations such as skin biopsies, patch tests, or dermoscopy may be added to the consultation. For planned procedures or ongoing treatment, the clinic should be able to provide a written financial counselling estimate that separates insurance payout, MediSave withdrawal, and out-of-pocket portions. Patients holding an Integrated Shield Plan should check pre-authorisation requirements and whether the dermatologist is on their insurer's panel before the appointment.

To book an appointment, contact Dr Stephanie Ho Dermatology directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form on their listing page. Confirm the consulting dermatologist's name, their SMC specialist accreditation in dermatology, and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before attending.

Our family has been visiting Dr. Stephanie for several years and we are extremely satisfied with the care we receive. Both the coordination by the medical assistants and the doctor’s professional and compassionate advice are excellent. We regularly come in for minor skin concerns as well as for our annual check-ups and always feel very well taken care of.

I have seen Dr Ho over the years to deal with serious eczema, acne and laser treatments. She is always patient and thoughtful. The treatments come with follow ups and necessary adjustments in treatments to ensure effectiveness, good recovery, and long-term maintenance. The nurses are always professional and friendly. My skin condition improved greatly over the years thanks to Dr Ho and the team. Highly recommend!

I came to see Dr Ho as she came up as best dermatologist on ChatGPT. I totally agree as my experience has been amazing. Removed 2 moles on my nose and cheek by surgery and i cannot see my scars at all. I have been recommending Dr Ho to all my friends. I am also bringing my daughter to see her for laser hair removal. She is very gentle, the treatment is fast with minimal pain and the laser is very effective. Her clinic is always bustling so sometimes have to wait a little. Clinic staff are friendly and help to ease my fear during treatment and very kind to my daughter.

I’ve been going to Stephanie Ho Dermatology for a while now for laser treatments, and the results have been amazing. Dr. Stephanie recommended a customised plan for my skin, and over time I’ve noticed a big improvement in my acne scarring. The procedures are always done with care, and she takes the time to explain what to expect and how to maintain results afterwards. The products she prescribed have also complemented the treatments really well — my skin feels much smoother and clearer now. Couldn’t be happier with the progress. Highly recommend Dr. Stephanie and her team!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Dr Stephanie Ho Dermatology charge?

Private dermatology consultations in Singapore typically run S$120–250 for a first appointment and S$80–180 for follow-ups. Common add-on costs include skin biopsies (S$150–400), patch allergy testing (S$200–500), dermoscopy assessments, topical or systemic prescription medications, and procedures such as laser or cryotherapy, which vary widely by scope. For any planned procedure, request a written financial counselling estimate that breaks down the insurance payout, MediSave withdrawal, and out-of-pocket portions before agreeing to treatment. GST applies to private specialist consultations and procedures. MediSave 500/700 outpatient withdrawal limits and Chronic Disease Management Programme coverage may apply for selected chronic skin conditions — confirm eligibility at the clinic. Is Dr Stephanie Ho Dermatology MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

Every legitimate dermatology clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — this is verifiable on the MOH licensee public directory. No licence has been provided in the current listing data, so patients are advised to confirm this directly with the clinic before booking. Every practising dermatologist is individually registered with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) — searchable by name at smc.gov.sg. The SMC register confirms registration status, specialist accreditation in Dermatology, and any disciplinary history. A fellowship from the Academy of Medicine Singapore (FAMS) in dermatology is the additional specialist credential to look for beyond basic SMC registration. Confirm both the clinic's MOH licence and the named doctor's SMC specialist entry before your first appointment.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Dr Stephanie Ho Dermatology?

Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life can cover private specialist consultations, day procedures, and inpatient admissions for dermatological conditions, subject to your plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider terms. Confirm pre-authorisation requirements with your insurer and ask the clinic whether it can issue a Letter of Guarantee before any planned procedure to avoid post-treatment claim disputes. MediSave 500 outpatient withdrawal is available for selected consultations, and the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) extends the limit to S$700 for listed chronic conditions — some chronic skin conditions such as eczema may qualify. For any planned procedure, request a written financial counselling estimate from the clinic that itemises insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions clearly. Skipping this step is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill. See the full dermatology cost guide for Singapore →
