About Dr Wendy Sinnathamby Kids Clinic Tampines
Dr Wendy Sinnathamby Kids Clinic Tampines is a paediatric clinic located at 9 Tampines Grande, #01-17, serving families across Singapore. The clinic has been listed and verified by KakiList, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed. It holds a 3.8 out of 5 rating across 163 Google reviews — a robust sample that provides a reasonable indication of patient experience, though individual encounters will vary. No ACRA registration or regulatory licences have been confirmed in the listing data, so prospective patients are encouraged to verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting paediatrician's SMC registration directly before booking.
A first visit to a paediatric clinic typically begins with a consultation covering the child's presenting concern — whether a fever, respiratory illness, developmental milestone review, or vaccination under the National Childhood Immunisation Programme (NIP). The doctor will take a history, examine the child, and recommend investigations such as a blood panel, urine dipstick, or swab where clinically indicated. For privately paying patients, a first specialist consultation at a private paediatric clinic typically runs S$120–250, with follow-ups at S$80–180. Families with Integrated Shield Plans should confirm pre-authorisation requirements with their insurer before any planned procedure. MediSave can be used under the Chronic Disease Management Programme for selected listed conditions, and the MediSave 500/700 outpatient withdrawal limits apply.

We have been consulting Dr. Wendy since 2019, and our experience has been consistently excellent. She is knowledgeable, patient, and truly caring with children and parents alike. She takes time to listen, explains everything clearly, and always makes us feel reassured. We trust her completely and highly recommend her to any parent looking for a reliable and compassionate pediatrician. Thanks Dr. YESS Family
I brought my baby to see Dr. Wendy at Tampines Kids Clinic after a recent hospitalisation because I was worried about a possible relapse. I took time to explain his symptoms thoroughly and also mentioned the rashes on his face but to my surprise, Dr. Wendy didn’t even take a look at them. After the visit, my baby’s condition worsened, and we had to rush him back to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with measles and had to be admitted. The medication prescribed earlier did not help at all, and we ended up wasting almost $400 on the visit that offered neither proper attention nor accurate diagnosis. I understand that not every condition is immediately obvious, but what was most disappointing was the lack of thoroughness and care shown during the visit especially when dealing with a recently hospitalised baby.
Very warm and friendly receptionists. Dr Wendy is reassuring and skilled with babies even though mine was cranky that time. Very positive experience and will be back if baby is sick again (hopefully not though)
Dr Wendy is so experienced to do accurate treatment. She gave the exact medication to recover from fever ,cough for my Son..It was a great relief for us . The other best part is ,clinic opened after office hours as well .Thank you DR and team..
Do not visit this clinic if you can!!!!!. It is the most expensive clinic i encounter. My bill is close to $500plus. Just for stomach flu for my boys One close to $350plus and $240plus They also charge for Mask! $0.50 Then only give 1 free mask for a parent. I mention I have 2 boys. Why charge? Shouldn’t it be 1 each? The reason they give is 1 parent can take turn to bring one each in. 😒 And there is not enough seaters outside. Some parents have to carry throughout. !! Overall! It was really a bad experience and I will not bring my kids here again. I rather go straight to KK next time!

Private paediatric consultations in Singapore typically run S$120–250 for a first visit and S$80–180 for follow-ups. On top of the consultation fee, common add-ons include vaccinations (S$30–80 per dose depending on the vaccine), blood panels (S$60–200), urine and swab tests (S$30–80), and prescriptions. GST applies on private medical services. For any planned procedure or day-surgery referral, request a written financial counselling estimate that clearly splits the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portion before giving consent. MediSave 500/700 outpatient withdrawal limits apply for listed chronic and developmental conditions under CDMP. Families with Integrated Shield Plans should check deductible and co-insurance terms with their insurer before each visit. See the full paediatric cost guide for Singapore →
Every legitimate clinic in Singapore must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory. Every practising doctor must appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, which shows registration status, any specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine, and disciplinary history. No MOH licence or SMC registration appears in the listing data for this provider, which is a gap families should resolve before booking. Search the named doctor on the SMC register and search the clinic address on the MOH licensee directory — both checks take under two minutes and confirm the clinic is operating lawfully. Neither the KakiList verification nor the Google review count substitutes for this step.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life can cover private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient admissions, subject to the plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. For planned procedures, obtain a Letter of Guarantee from your insurer before treatment to avoid claim disputes after the fact. MediSave can be used for outpatient items under the MediSave 500/700 withdrawal limits (S$500/year general outpatient, S$700/year for conditions listed under the Chronic Disease Management Programme). For children, the National Childhood Immunisation Programme vaccines are subsidised at polyclinics; private clinic vaccination rates differ and are typically self-pay. Request a financial counselling session at the clinic for any procedure so the itemised estimate — insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket — is in writing before you commit.
