Patients typically begin with a first specialist consultation, during which the orthopaedic surgeon takes a history, reviews any imaging or referral letters, and discusses a diagnosis and treatment plan. Private specialist consultations in Singapore typically run S$120–250 for a first visit and S$80–180 for follow-ups, with investigations such as X-rays (S$80–150), ultrasound (S$150–400), MRI (S$400–1,800), and blood panels billed separately. Although subcategory data lists paediatric, orthopaedic practices commonly address conditions across the musculoskeletal spectrum — fractures, joint pain, sports injuries, spinal issues, and post-surgical rehabilitation — so it is worth confirming the specific scope and whether paediatric orthopaedic assessment is offered at this practice. Patients using an Integrated Shield Plan should request pre-authorisation and, for any planned procedure, a written financial counselling estimate itemising insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket cost before committing.
To book, contact the practice directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form. Where possible, bring a referral letter from your GP or polyclinic, any existing imaging (X-rays, MRI reports), and your insurance card — this allows the clinic to process pre-authorisation and financial counselling at the same appointment.

I had my right clavicle surgery at ACME Orthopaedics with Dr. Zackary Chua and had a great experience. Special thanks to Joyce and Eloisa — they were incredibly kind, attentive, and reassuring throughout the process. Their care made a big difference and helped me feel comfortable and well looked after. Highly appreciate the whole team.
I had a very positive experience with Dr Zachery and his team. From the first consultation to the surgery and follow-ups, Dr Zachery was patient, professional, and very thorough in explaining my ACL reconstruction and ankle ligament surgery. His calm and reassuring approach gave me confidence and peace of mind throughout the process. It has now been six weeks since the operation, and I am recovering well. I can almost walk normally again, and I am very grateful for the smooth recovery and excellent care. The clinic staff Joyce and Eloisa were also friendly, organised, and responsive, making the whole experience pleasant and stress-free. I highly recommend Dr Zachery and his team for their skill, professionalism, and genuine care.
4 months post shoulder surgery report: Range of movement 100%, optimal strength and Pain ZERO! Should have done it earlier. I'm extremely grateful to Dr. Zachary and his team + physiology team (Alison & Paulyn) for the outstanding care and expertise they showed during my right shoulder surgery. The procedure was a success, and I'm thrilled with the results. I highly recommend Dr. Zachary and his team to anyone in need of orthopedic care. Thank you again for helping me get back on track!
Really very impressed with the whole experience. Dr Chua did both an excellent job at explaining the procedure for my ACL as well as the operation itself and recommending my post op physio. My recovery has been swift and I have experienced no complications. I have heard from many people that for meniscus and acl operations it's essential to have a good doctor and with this in mind I woukd not hesitate to recommend Dr Chua. His reception team and assistants were also super agreeable and excellent with their communication. Particularly Joyce and Eloisa.
Truly grateful to Dr. Zackary and his team for the outstanding care I received—from the day I was admitted for surgery all the way through my recovery! Was quite scared at the beginning, but the team were so kind and reassuring that I felt completely safe in their hands. Everyone was professional, caring, and genuine. It’s been 8 months since my surgery, and looking back, the whole recovery journey couldn’t have been better without them! Thank you.

No specific fee schedule is published for this practice. As a general guide, private orthopaedic specialist consultations in Singapore typically run S$120–250 for a first visit and S$80–180 for follow-ups. Common investigations billed on top include X-rays (S$80–150), ultrasound (S$150–400), MRI (S$400–1,800), and blood panels (S$60–200). Orthopaedic procedures vary considerably — arthroscopic day surgery may range from S$5,000–15,000+, while fracture fixation or joint replacement can exceed S$20,000 in a private hospital setting. GST applies on private medical services. For any planned procedure, the clinic should provide a written financial counselling estimate splitting the Integrated Shield Plan (IP) payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portion before you proceed. MediSave can be used for approved day surgeries and selected outpatient treatments. Confirm exact fees directly with the practice. See the full paediatric cost guide for Singapore →
No MOH Healthcare Services Licence or Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration details have been confirmed in the data provided for this listing. Every legitimate private specialist clinic in Singapore must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory online. Every practising doctor must appear on the SMC public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status, specialist accreditation (in this case, Orthopaedic Surgery), and any disciplinary history. For orthopaedic surgeons, a Royal College fellowship (FRCS Orthopaedics) or FAMS fellowship (Academy of Medicine Singapore) is the meaningful additional credential beyond basic SMC registration. Confirm both the clinic licence and the named doctor's SMC entry before booking — neither alone is sufficient. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life cover most private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays, subject to the plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. For any planned orthopaedic procedure — arthroscopy, fracture fixation, ligament repair, or joint replacement — confirm pre-authorisation and request a Letter of Guarantee from your IP insurer before the procedure to avoid claim disputes after discharge. MediSave can be used for approved orthopaedic day surgeries and selected outpatient treatments. The Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) MediSave withdrawal of S$500–700/year covers listed chronic conditions; separate limits apply for approved scans and outpatient cancer treatment. Always request a pre-treatment financial counselling session at the clinic — most private specialists will issue an itemised estimate splitting insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket cost in writing. Skipping this step is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill.
