About Early Intervention Centre EIC
Early Intervention Centre EIC is a paediatric-focused provider operating from Hiap Hoe Building on Ah Hood Road, serving families islandwide. It holds a 4.9/5 rating across 49 Google reviews — a moderate sample that suggests consistently positive feedback, though parents should verify current details directly. No regulatory licences are listed in the available data, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed, which limits the degree of independent verification possible from public records alone.
Families typically begin by contacting the centre via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to describe the child's presenting concerns — developmental delays, speech difficulties, behavioural challenges, or other early-childhood conditions — and to confirm whether the centre's scope and approach are a suitable fit. For paediatric early intervention, it is worth asking about the practitioners' qualifications, whether they are registered with the relevant board (Singapore Medical Council for doctors, or Allied Health Professions Council for allied health practitioners such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, or psychologists), the assessment process, and how the intervention programme is structured and reviewed over time. Parents should also ask about referral pathways, MediSave eligibility for any applicable outpatient items, and whether the centre works alongside a child's existing school or therapist team.
The most practical next step is to contact Early Intervention Centre EIC directly via WhatsApp or phone to describe your child's needs, ask for a consultation appointment, and confirm the qualifications of the practitioner who will be involved before booking.
Verify the doctor's or practitioner's name on the Singapore Medical Council or AHPC register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
My little boy got delay in speech and behaviors before he joined EIC fulltime program. He has tremendous improvement in such a short time (5 months) with teachers Marie, Grace. Everyday he told me please go EIC, go Marie, go Grace. He is different boy with speedy learning curve. I admire the teachers with lots of patience and passion towards the kids. The approach and methodology they applied to enforce the good behavior via praise the good ones also helps my child happier and confident. I myself learn from them for my parenting. Highly recommend for any parents want a stress free environment for your kids to learn and improve their learning progress. my kid now can read, express himself and well behaved and develop his love for learning which I expect the most when I sent him to school.
The Early Intervention Centre at Zhongshan Mall has been an incredible support system for my child. Under the guidance of Ms. Marie and her wonderful team of teachers, we have seen noticeable progress in our child’s confidence, communication, and literacy skills. Their dedication, patience, and consistent effort in applying the right intervention methods have made a meaningful difference. Every session is thoughtfully structured, combining skill development with genuine care and understanding tailored to each child’s needs. We truly appreciate the team’s commitment to helping our child reach milestones we once thought would take much longer. Thank you, Ms. Marie and the entire teaching team, for your passion, professionalism, and unwavering encouragement.
Your child will be in good hands :). Ms Marie and teachers are very experienced, dedicated and passionate about what they do. The attitude of the teachers are that they never give up and they always see the strengths of the children in what they can do. :)
My child has been with EIC for over 9 months now. He has shown great improvements on communications skills and behaviors. The teachers and staff are very loving, patient and supportive. They are also professional in child development and early education. 5 Star for EIC! :)
An Incredible Learning Journey at EiC From the very first moment we glimpsed into EiC, we had a strong feeling it was the right place for our son. My husband’s first impression, just from peeking inside, was, “I’m sure you’re going to like this place—it looks clean, bright, structured, and organized.” And he was absolutely right. Our confidence was further reinforced during our initial assessment meeting with the team. The principal’s keen insight and expertise were truly impressive—within a short session, she was able to pinpoint our son’s key learning gaps, strengths, and areas to focus on. That immediate understanding gave us full trust in the school’s ability to support his growth, making the decision to enroll him an easy one. Looking back, our only regret is not discovering this wonderful centre earlier. Within just two months of joining, we saw such meaningful progress that we decided to extend to the full-day program. Over the past two years, EiC has been more than just a school—it has been a crucial partner in our son’s development. The teachers and staffs have been incredibly dedicated, guiding him through challenges and celebrating his milestones with us. Their warmth, patience, and structured approach have made a lasting impact. As our son moves on to primary school, leaving this nurturing environment is truly bittersweet. The special farewell graduation ceremony, complete with heartfelt performances, children handcrafted card, gifts and his own graduation speech, was a beautiful testament to the school’s deep care for its students. We are so grateful for everything the centre has done, and we take comfort in knowing that he can continue his learning journey with EiC through weekend classes. Thank you, EiC, for being such an extraordinary place. You have made an incredible difference in our son’s life, and we will always cherish the memories made here.

No pricing information is publicly listed for Early Intervention Centre EIC, so families should contact the centre directly to obtain a fee schedule before committing. As a general reference for paediatric early intervention services in Singapore: initial developmental assessments at private clinics typically run S$200–600 depending on the scope and the practitioner's specialisation; therapy sessions (speech, occupational, behavioural) generally range from S$80–200 per session in private settings. Any planned assessment or programme should be quoted with a clear breakdown of the consultation fee, assessment costs, session frequency, and any materials charges. For planned procedures or ongoing programmes, request a written estimate that separates what can be paid via MediSave (under the S$500/S$700 outpatient withdrawal limits, where applicable) from the out-of-pocket portion. No MOH Healthcare Services Licence or Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration is listed in the available data for Early Intervention Centre EIC. This is a material gap — every legitimate private clinic operating in Singapore is required to hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act, and every practising doctor must appear on the SMC public register at smc.gov.sg. If the centre's services are delivered by allied health practitioners — such as speech-language therapists, occupational therapists, or psychologists — those practitioners should be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) or the Singapore Psychological Society, depending on their discipline. Parents should ask the centre directly which practitioners will be involved, their registration board, and their licence or registration number, and then verify independently on the relevant public register before any consultation or programme begins. Verify the doctor's or practitioner's name on the SMC or AHPC register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned programme request a written financial estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Whether MediSave or Integrated Shield Plan (IP) coverage applies at Early Intervention Centre EIC depends on the specific services offered and the registration status of the practising clinician. MediSave outpatient withdrawal is available under the S$500/year general limit or the S$700/year Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) limit for listed conditions — confirm with the centre whether any services qualify before assuming coverage. For paediatric assessments and therapy programmes at private providers, most costs are self-pay unless the clinic is an approved CDMP or MediSave-accredited provider. Integrated Shield Plans typically cover inpatient admissions and day surgery rather than outpatient therapy sessions, so check your policy terms carefully. Where a GP or polyclinic referral letter is available, it can sometimes open a more subsidised pathway via a public hospital's Child Development Unit, with longer wait times but significantly lower out-of-pocket costs for Singapore Citizens. For any planned programme, request a financial counselling session at the centre — ask for an itemised breakdown showing what is claimable via MediSave or insurance and what remains out-of-pocket, in writing, before committing to a package.
