About EduKate

About EduKate

EduKate is a tuition centre operating islandwide from its premises at 83 Punggol Central, Singapore 828761. It is verified by KakiList, meaning a real person has confirmed its operating details and contact channels. The centre holds a Google rating of 4.5 out of 5 across 24 reviews — a small sample, so this figure should be treated as directional rather than definitive. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$), though a specific per-session or monthly fee has not been published on this listing.

Families considering EduKate should begin by enquiring about level and syllabus fit — whether the centre covers the relevant PSLE, O-Level, A-Level, IB, or IGCSE stream — and whether group tuition or one-to-one sessions are available for their child's needs. It is worth asking about a trial class before committing to a full term, confirming class sizes, and clarifying whether sessions are held in-person at the Punggol Central centre or also offered online. Term commitment length and any materials fees should be discussed upfront.

The most direct next step is to reach out to EduKate via WhatsApp, phone, or their enquiry form to ask about current class availability for your child's level, request a trial class, and confirm the fee structure before committing to a term. Listing data is incomplete — contact EduKate directly to confirm details.

Tutors are passionate. Knows their material and teaches clearly. Students love going for their lessons and learns, during tuition, their school work properly. A lot of effort is put into training their students in class. My daughter went from scoring 65 for P4 Maths to 92 after being taught by them. She is doing very well in her studies and has a good attitude towards learning. I know the tutors give her ideas that helped her to be optimistic. On the complaint side, they teach again the same topics when it is near the examinations which might be a bit too much revision rather than doing new sums. I am sure they have their reasons, but after three years with them, my daughter feels like she knows her work well enough. Overall, my daughter has improved but I wished they can work on her last few marks to further improve her and score higher.

My Additional Mathematics tutor here taught me till I got an A1. They make me feel that I can achieve the score that I wanted, as the lessons are excellently taught. They never miss a lesson. Never had any problems from them. During lessons, tutor teaches in detail and guides me when I do make a mistake or my concepts are wrong. Also they advice me on how I can improve and give me strategies on studying for the examinations. Enjoyed my lessons there as they are patient and do care about my scores. Outside, I can message them anytime to help me when I do not understand my school work. A well balanced tuition centre that teach well, train to get A1, and very experienced.

My daughter’s favourite Teachers. She cannot stop talking about the things she learnt in their classes, and then questions me to see if I know it too. Kids nowadays are getting just too smart for their own good. The classes are small here. Only 3 students. I find it quite a good size because they can have friends but yet still get the attention needed. Teachers are quite good. They tell me what I can do to help my daughter, sometimes brutally honest with her mistakes, which is a good thing, and they are willing to extend themselves during exam periods to push her harder. Recommended tutors definitely.

Daughter improved. Tutors teach then guide my daughter through given work. When daughter needs help, they listen. Very calm, patient and reassuring tutors in control of the situation, my daughter gets praised when she is doing well, and readjusted when she makes a mistake without making a big fuss over it. That helps a lot in building up her confidence. Good recommendation.

Good tutors for Secondary English and Mathematics. Very small group and high contact time in class. Daughter goes to Nan Chiau High, and is now an A1/A2 grade student from an E8 for Additional Mathematics after attending their tuition. They teach ahead of school curriculum, and knows the school well enough from previous Nan Chiau students that attended their tuition. Their way of teaching is closer to that of a sports trainer as their style of teaching is more of coaching than tutoring. Once they start teaching my daughter, they started correcting her weaknesses. They will teach from basics and use the text book before moving onto past year papers. This changes the way my daughter understands her schoolwork. Many of these small changes makes the big difference too. She used to make a lot of silly calculation mistakes that cost her dearly, but all these are starting to fade away. Only bad thing I can think of is that the tutor can give batches of past year papers and expect students to do them at home before he runs through them the next lesson. Sometimes if my Daughter doesn’t bring it, and cannot complete it, she won’t get it marked. Of course, it is part of my daughter’s job to do it, but her own schoolwork can be aplenty and she cannot cope with the extra work given. However, during the exam period, the tutor will do a lot more lessons and spend time to train them to score in their exams. Also a big bonus is that he will work with the students and answer questions anytime of the day by text messaging, which I think is the passionate level of teaching that I don’t find anywhere else. Well recommended if you want the best Secondary Maths tutor in Punggol.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does EduKate charge per session?

EduKate has not published a specific per-session rate on this listing. Tuition centres in Singapore typically charge on a per-session basis, as a bundled monthly package, or as a term fee — the structure can vary depending on whether sessions are group or one-to-one, and the academic level involved. It is worth confirming whether a separate materials fee applies and whether any sibling or multi-subject discounts are available. A trial class may be offered at a reduced or standard rate before you commit to ongoing lessons. See the full tuition centre cost guide for Singapore →

Can I try a class before committing?

Many tuition centres in Singapore offer a trial class so that parents and students can assess fit before signing up for a full term. During a trial, it is useful to observe whether the teaching pace and level match the student's current standing, whether the tutor engages the student effectively, and whether the class size allows sufficient individual attention. Contact EduKate directly via WhatsApp, phone, or their enquiry form to ask about their trial class policy, any applicable fee, and available slots for your child's level and subject.

What are the tutor's credentials at EduKate?

Tutor credentials have not been listed for EduKate on this directory. When evaluating a tuition centre, it is reasonable to ask whether tutors hold a degree in the relevant subject, whether any have an NIE teaching qualification or prior MOE school experience, and how long each tutor has been teaching the specific syllabus — whether MOE, IB, IGCSE, or AP. Syllabus alignment matters particularly at upper secondary and pre-university levels where marking schemes are specific. We recommend asking EduKate directly about the qualifications and experience of the tutor assigned to your child's class before committing to a term.
