About Elfie
Elfie is a home nursing provider operating islandwide across Singapore. The listing is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered, and Elfie holds a 4.0/5 rating across 1,374 Google reviews — a robust sample that offers meaningful confidence in service consistency. Pricing follows an hourly model at a mid-range rate (displayed as $$); confirm the exact hourly figure, any minimum-hour requirement, and public holiday surcharges directly before engaging.
When considering Elfie, begin with a care assessment that covers the elder's mobility, medical conditions, medication management needs, and daily personal care requirements. Clarify whether you need clinical nursing support — such as wound care, catheter management, or post-hospitalisation recovery — or a combination of nursing and companionship. Establish the number of hours required per day or week, and confirm whether a visiting arrangement or longer daily shifts better suit the household. Involve all key family decision-makers early, as care plans often need to be adjusted once nursing begins. A short trial period can help determine whether the assigned nurse is a good fit before committing to a longer arrangement.
To take the next step, contact Elfie by phone or through the enquiry form at their Coleman Street office to discuss the elder's care needs, request an hourly rate breakdown, and arrange a care assessment before confirming any engagement.
Insist on a trial period and put the care plan, hours, and rate in writing.
Cool place to find all the audio equipments, hi-fi systems, vinyls and nich items. Quiet but very chill shopping mall for music enthu and hobbyist. The toilet here is now so amazing. Just renovated. Upgraded to 5 stars!
It's a place which specialises in high end audio sound systems. Other than that, it is not some shopping centre where one can window shop and find other interesting items to shop. For me, quite a dull place. Funan mall across the street is more vibrant.
5-stars cos it’s a familiar haunt… during my litigation days. Also for when one wants to bask in great sound, and ogle at technical audio equipment.
This is a historical site of the Adelphi hotel which closed in 1973. It was the oldest hotel in Singapore. The legendary Sarkies Brothers purchased the hotel and renovated it in the early 20th century before WW I. During WW II it was renamed as Nanto Hotel. The current building is rebuilt in the 1980s. Now it is known more as a place for amphitheaters and some clinics. It is connected to the Cityhall MRT via Funan. It is easier to walk from the outer side of the station than through the underground.
A convenient mall located near to City Hall mrt with affordable food options at the lower floors and also several music shops, dental clinics at upper floor and several fitness studios.

Elfie prices home nursing on an hourly basis, displayed at a mid-range ($$) level. Singapore market rates for home nursing typically run from S$20 to S$60 or more per hour depending on the nurse's qualifications, the clinical complexity of the care required, and whether the visit falls on a weekday, weekend, or public holiday — public holiday surcharges of 50–100% above the base rate are common. Beyond the hourly rate, confirm any minimum-hours-per-visit requirement, agency coordination or matching fees, and whether consumables such as wound dressings or catheters are billed separately. Get the full rate card in writing before the first visit. See the full eldercare cost guide for Singapore →
Elfie's listing is categorised under home nursing, which typically operates on a visit basis — a qualified nurse attends for a defined number of hours per visit rather than living in the household. Typical visit arrangements range from one-hour medication or wound-care calls to four- to eight-hour shifts covering personal care, mobility assistance, and clinical monitoring. If the elder requires around-the-clock clinical supervision, a combination of scheduled nursing visits and a separate live-in caregiver arrangement may be more appropriate. Discuss the scope of care, shift length options, and whether the same nurse is assigned consistently — continuity matters for both the elder's comfort and clinical safety. Confirm the replacement policy should the assigned nurse be unavailable.
For home nursing specifically, qualified practitioners should hold a nursing registration recognised by the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) under the Allied Health Professions Act or the Nurses and Midwives Act — ask whether the nurses deployed are Registered Nurses (RNs) or Enrolled Nurses (ENs), as this affects the clinical scope of care they can legally provide. Confirm whether Elfie holds AIC or MOH registration for home care services, as this is relevant for clinical nursing provision. Ask about professional indemnity insurance and whether the agency carries coverage for caregiver injury or incidents involving the client during a session. If dementia care is relevant, ask specifically about dementia-care training, as this requires additional specialist competencies beyond standard nursing.
