About ENT Clinic Singapore Children's ENT

About ENT Clinic Singapore Children's ENT

ENT Clinic Singapore Children's ENT is a paediatric ear, nose, and throat practice based at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, serving families islandwide. KakiList has verified the operating details and contact channels. The clinic holds a 4.2/5 rating across 25 Google reviews — a moderate sample size that offers a reasonable directional signal. No regulatory licences appear in the KakiList record and no ACRA registration is confirmed at this time; parents are encouraged to verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's Singapore Medical Council registration directly before booking.

Most families arrive after a GP or polyclinic referral, or book directly as a self-paying private patient. A first specialist consultation at a private ENT clinic typically runs S$120–250, with follow-up visits at S$80–180. Common paediatric ENT presentations include recurrent ear infections and glue ear, enlarged adenoids and tonsils, snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea, nasal obstruction, and hearing loss requiring audiological assessment. If a procedure such as grommets insertion, adenotonsillectomy, or direct laryngoscopy is required, the clinic should provide a written financial counselling estimate that separates the surgeon's fee, anaesthetist's fee, facility charges, your Integrated Shield Plan payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portion before any deposit is collected. MediSave can be applied to approved surgical procedures, and MediSave 500 limits apply to outpatient consultations.

To take the next step, contact ENT Clinic Singapore Children's ENT via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to request a first appointment, and bring any prior investigation results, audiograms, or referral letters to the consultation.

Dr. Low Mei Yi is very gentle and friendly with my son. Uncle Derek, the audiologist, is very friendly as well. That made Caleb's first ear test went well without drama. The nurses are kind too. Toys and books are available for little kids to play around while waiting for their turn to be attended to. Overall experience is great 👍🏻

Dr. Ng Yuk Hui is a very caring doctor. We initially sought him out for sleep study for our son who has sleep apnea but after showing us through an endoscope the condition of our son, we eventually decided to go for surgery. He is very thorough in explaining the benefits and risks associated with the surgery. He didn’t push but rather explained how the surgery will be done. His nurse was very helpful and responsive both before and after the surgery. Surgery went well and our son never cried during and after the surgery. Now, our son is sleeping very well and already gained more than 1 kg within 1 month after surgery.

Have been seeing Dr Dawn Teo for years, she has always impressed me as she is very gentle and patient. Recently saw Dr Ng Yuk Hui who is equally as skilled and professional, and patient in his explanations.

Grateful to Dr Dawn for her patience, expertise and exceptional care. All thanks to Dr Dawn for being so calm and reassuring when my kids had to go through procedures, we were all definitely more at ease.

Dr Dawn is fantastic - friendly, competent and caring. She managed to do a scope for my son when he was 1 year 4 months without any tears or drama. She also told us what to expect down the road which was very helpful - today I bought my son to see her again at 2y6m and she is confident we will be able to settle his chronic rhinitis. Her clinic has lots of fun toys too (wooden castle and train tracks. Last visit was toy cake mixer and coffee machine) - my son didn't want to leave her clinic. Highly recommended.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does ENT Clinic Singapore Children's ENT charge?

First specialist consultation at a private ENT clinic in Singapore typically runs S$120–250, with follow-up visits at S$80–180. Investigations billed on top may include a hearing test or audiogram (S$80–200), nasal endoscopy, or a sleep study referral. Prescriptions and review appointments are charged separately. If a procedure is needed — grommets insertion, adenotonsillectomy, or direct laryngoscopy — day surgery costs vary widely (S$3,000–15,000+ depending on the procedure and ward class) and are subject to surgeon, anaesthetist, and facility fees. GST applies on private medical services. Any planned procedure should come with a written financial counselling estimate splitting Integrated Shield Plan coverage, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before you pay any deposit. Is ENT Clinic Singapore Children's ENT MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

Every legitimate clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory online. Every practising doctor must also appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status, specialist accreditation (in this case, Otorhinolaryngology), and any disciplinary history. No licences are recorded in this KakiList listing, so parents should verify both the clinic licence and the named doctor's SMC entry directly before booking. For surgical work, a Royal College or Academy of Medicine Singapore fellowship (FRCS or FAMS) is the meaningful additional credential beyond basic SMC registration. Neither the clinic licence nor the SMC entry alone is sufficient — confirm both. Verify the MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the doctor's SMC registration before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at ENT Clinic Singapore Children's ENT?

Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life cover most private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays, subject to your plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. For any planned procedure, request pre-authorisation and a Letter of Guarantee from your insurer before the operation to avoid claim disputes afterwards. MediSave 500 outpatient withdrawal limits apply to outpatient consultations; MediSave can also be applied to approved surgical procedures such as grommets insertion or adenotonsillectomy, with the specific claimable amounts depending on the procedure code. For outpatient consultations without a referral letter, you pay the full private specialist rate and claim against your IP or MediSave where eligible. A polyclinic or GP referral letter to a public hospital's ENT Specialist Outpatient Clinic reduces the consultation fee to S$30–80 for Singapore Citizens after subsidy, though non-urgent waits typically run 4–12 weeks. For any planned procedure, request a financial counselling session — most private hospitals issue an itemised pre-treatment estimate covering insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions in writing. Skipping this step is the most common reason families are surprised by their final bill.
