About Etern Medical Punggol
Etern Medical Punggol is a paediatric-focused GP clinic located at 70 Punggol Central, within Punggol MRT Station, serving families across the Punggol and north-eastern Singapore area. KakiList has verified the clinic's operating details and contact channels. The clinic holds a 4.5/5 rating across 852 Google reviews, a robust sample that provides meaningful confidence in patient experience.
Families typically begin by calling ahead or submitting an enquiry form to check queue availability or book an appointment. At the first visit, the consulting doctor will take a clinical history, assess the child's presenting condition, and determine whether investigations such as a blood panel or throat swab are needed. Paediatric consultations commonly cover acute illness management, the National Childhood Immunisation Programme (NIP) schedule, developmental milestone checks, and allergy or eczema reviews. For ongoing or complex conditions, the doctor may refer to a paediatric specialist at a restructured hospital or private specialist centre, in which case a referral letter is provided. Fees are payable at point of service; bring your child's health booklet and immunisation records for the first visit.
To make an appointment or check current waiting times, contact Etern Medical Punggol directly by phone or through the enquiry form listed on this page.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
I had a positive experience at Etern Medical Clinic (Punggol MRT). The staff are accommodating and friendly, making each visit comfortable. Dr. Tan Kah Wei is good and provides thoughtful, attentive care. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a reliable clinic in the area.
Saw Dr Tan Kah Wei. Amazed at the level of professionalism compared to so many other gp clinics i been to. She really listens to what im having, did some breathing checks, throat check and fever check and explained to me that what im having is what type of infection. Overall the clinic has 3 admin staff so things move very quickly.
Thanks to Dr Tim for great treatment and care. He genuinely cares for and wants the best best outcomes for all his patients, even if sometimes the circumstances are scary. The nurse team was also delightful and genuinely caring. Thank you to everyone at Etern for helping me get on top of my pain!
I am giving this rating because of a serious mistake with my infant's second Rotarix vaccine. They administered a half dose due to an error and falsely assured me it was 'good enough.' It is not. Medical guidelines state a half dose should not be considered effective and a full replacement dose may be needed. I am very disappointed that my child's protection was compromised by their negligence and poor advice.
This clinic refused to process cashless insurance due to their system error. They should be fixing their own computer system issue instead of asking patients to pay upfront, especially only informs after consultation.

GP consultations in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit at private clinics. Common add-ons at a paediatric GP clinic include vaccinations on the NIP schedule (S$30–80 per jab for non-subsidised doses, though Medifund-eligible children and those under specific ECDA or MOH vaccination programmes may receive subsidised rates), diagnostic swabs, nebulisation, and prescription medications. GST applies on private medical services. For planned procedures or specialist referrals, request a written financial counselling estimate that splits any insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions clearly before proceeding. MediSave can be used for outpatient consultations under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) and for selected vaccinations. Contact Etern Medical Punggol directly to confirm current consultation fees and any package pricing for child health screening. See the full paediatric cost guide for Singapore →
Every legitimate clinic in Singapore must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act, verifiable on the MOH licensee directory. Every practising doctor must be listed on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg — search by name to confirm registration status and any specialist accreditation. For a paediatric GP clinic, confirm whether the consulting doctor holds a Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine (GDFM) or a postgraduate qualification in paediatrics, as this affects the scope of conditions managed in-house versus referred. No regulatory licences are currently listed on this KakiList entry for Etern Medical Punggol. We recommend verifying the clinic's MOH licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration directly before booking, particularly for ongoing paediatric care. Contact the clinic by phone or form to request this information prior to your first visit.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally cover inpatient stays and day surgery at private hospitals, but outpatient GP visits — including paediatric consultations — are typically not covered unless the plan includes an outpatient rider. Check your insurer's policy documents before assuming coverage. MediSave can be used at GP clinics for consultations related to conditions listed under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), with an annual withdrawal limit of S$500 (general outpatient) or S$700 (CDMP). Selected childhood vaccinations on the NIP schedule may also qualify for MediSave withdrawal — confirm with the clinic at registration. Cash, NETS, and credit card payment at point of service is the norm for non-CDMP paediatric visits. For any planned procedure or specialist referral, request a financial counselling session and a written estimate itemising all portions before proceeding.
