When enquiring, start with your pax count and whether you need a standard buffet, premium spread, mini-buffet, or live-station setup. Share the dietary mix of your guest list — halal, vegetarian, no-pork-no-lard, no-beef, or gluten-free requirements should be confirmed early, along with whether a MUIS halal certificate applies to the menu. Ask about the minimum headcount for the format you have in mind, the delivery and setup window, and whether equipment such as chafing dishes and warmers is included or billed separately. A menu tasting before committing is standard practice for larger orders and worth requesting.
Reach Grain Catering Singapore via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to confirm your event date, pax count, dietary requirements, and preferred format, and to request a per-pax quotation.
Confirm the SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence (and MUIS halal certificate where required), book a tasting before paying the deposit, and put the per-pax rate, minimum headcount, dietary mix, delivery and setup window, and balance schedule in writing.
Feb 2026: Repeat customer. Ordered for 45 pax for CNY. My guests love the delicious Chai Po Bee Tai Mak!! The chicken and prawn were wiped out very quickly. The Teochew Steamed Sea Bass tasted fresh and were definitely a great hit with the seniors. The 2 young men who set up and tear down were professional, friendly and polite. Perfect catering experience! Dec 2025: We’ve ordered Exclusive Christmas buffet for 40 pax. Portion was generous and everyone had more than 1 serving. Except for the mussels that was a little tough and chewy, the rest of the dishes were well-received. The salmon was especially delicious and was the first to be wiped out. Cream and all. The pasta was also very popular. Even one guest who don’t usually eats pasta commented that it was good. The log cake was so adorable and taste delicious too. Special mention to Joshua and Zhiyang who were in charge of our dinner tonight. Setup/teardown was fast and efficient and they are a warm and friendly duo. Overall a great catering experience and I will recommend them to my friends and family.
Catered for my daughter’s 18th birthday with no regrets! The service was great from the start. Sherlyn was very responsive and when she heard it was a birthday party, she even asked for the theme so they could try to match our decor and they even presented her with a gift! The service staff who did the set up, Solaris and ZY, were also highly commendable and very helpful. They communicated with me every step of the way! And of course the food was liked by everyone. Would definitely use them again, and recommend them!
We engaged Grain for our church wedding lunch (~150 pax), and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. The delivery, set-up, and tear-down were all promptly coordinated and handled with professionalism, which took a huge load off our shoulders on an already busy day. Everything was on time, well organised, and ran smoothly in the background, exactly what you want for a wedding. The food was a hit across the board. Our guests had only good things to say about the selection and the taste, and we received multiple compliments throughout the day. We also ordered two live stations; popiah and kueh pie tee, and they were incredibly popular with the crowd. The stations were constantly busy and added a fun, interactive element that our guests really enjoyed. A special thank you to Seraphina, who was our coordinator throughout the entire process. She was consistently responsive, clear, and reassuring in her communication, and made coordination effortless from planning to execution. It was a real comfort knowing we were in such capable hands. Thank you for taking such good care of us and our event.
Awesome dishes from Grain for a teenager’s BD party. Loved all the dishes that we chose!! Although the dishes came in disposable containers but the presentation and colour of the dishes were exactly as shown on Grain’s menu! Does not only look appetising and full of colour, but tastes good too!! Would love to try the other dishes in their selection next round! Many thumbs up!
Ordered from Grain Weddings for my ROM to feed 35 pax, their menu is extensive and was a joy for me and my husband to choose from. After our order was confirmed, we received emails from Seraphina (their wedding sales rep) who followed up before the ROM on if there were any changes to the order to ensure all was ok before the actual day. On the actual day, we were in contact with their rep,Elvin- who is actually the driver + the set-up man for the buffet. He was a little delayed due to the heavy rain but thankfully managed to set up before our ceremony began. Food was wonderful and delicious, we heard compliments from all our guests and truly the food is a good restaurant quality. I was so pleased and thankful the food was good as we were unable to try it beforehand. In particular the fish in cream sauce, mac&cheese and egg tarts were a crowd fave. The blue pea lavender tea was a bit too sweet imo. They provided ample plates and cups and their plates are a good quality- not flimsy plastic. It gave a more refined feel. There was also some table decor (flowers in vases) which I appreciated. After 2 hours, Elvin came back to collect the food and pack up. A very fuss-free experience and absolutely no regrets on having Grain be a part of my wedding/ROM. Would rate the food a 4.5/5

Grain Catering Singapore uses per-pax pricing, which varies by format and menu tier. Singapore market norms place standard buffets at S$15–25 per pax with a minimum of roughly 30 pax, premium buffets at S$25–40 per pax, mini-buffets for smaller groups at S$18–30 per pax (minimum 8–15 pax), and live-station setups at S$30–60 per pax. Bento delivery typically runs S$8–18 per pax. Confirm with Grain directly what is included in the quoted rate — delivery and setup to non-central addresses may carry a surcharge, and buffet attendants on-site are typically billed at S$80–150 per attendant. Equipment such as chafing dishes and warmers may be included or charged separately. GST applies and should be confirmed in writing before booking. See the full catering cost guide for Singapore →
Before confirming any booking, clarify whether Grain Catering Singapore holds a current MUIS halal certificate — the certificate should display a licence number and validity dates. 'Halal-friendly' or 'no pork no lard' labelling without MUIS certification is not the same as certified halal and will not meet the standard for guests who require strict halal compliance. Also confirm availability of vegetarian options (lacto-ovo versus vegan), no-beef selections for Hindu guests, gluten-free dishes, and nut-free preparation where relevant. Ask about cross-contamination protocols if your guest list includes a mix of dietary requirements, and enquire whether a menu tasting is available prior to signing — most reputable caterers offer this above a minimum order value.
Legitimate event caterers hold an SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence, and their hygiene grade — A being the highest, followed by B, C, and D — should be available on the SFA website or on request. Grain Catering Singapore does not currently list regulatory licences on this KakiList profile; confirm their SFA licence status and hygiene grade directly before booking, particularly for larger events. Cooked food for buffets should be served within a 2–3 hour cooked-to-served window, with hot dishes held above 60°C and cold dishes below 5°C per SFA food safety guidelines. Confirm the setup arrival time, replenishment protocol during the event, and the arrangement for safe handling of any leftovers. Confirm the SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence (and MUIS halal certificate where required), book a tasting before paying the deposit, and put the per-pax rate, minimum headcount, dietary mix, delivery and setup window, and balance schedule in writing.
