About Greenwood Fish Market Catering

About Greenwood Fish Market Catering

Greenwood Fish Market Catering is an event catering provider operating islandwide from its base at 31 Ocean Way, Queenstown. It is verified by KakiList and carries a 4.2-star rating across 2,816 Google reviews — a robust sample that suggests consistent delivery across a wide range of events. Pricing is positioned in the mid-range ($$) on a per-pax basis, in line with Singapore buffet catering norms.

To get an accurate quote, share your pax count and minimum headcount requirement (typically 30–50 pax for standard buffets, fewer for mini-buffets), your event date and venue, the buffet format you have in mind — full buffet, mini-buffet, live station, or bento delivery — and the dietary mix of your guest list, including halal, vegetarian, no-pork-no-lard, or no-beef requirements. Greenwood Fish Market Catering's background in seafood-focused dining makes it worth asking specifically about the seafood spread and live-station options. Confirm whether equipment such as chafing dishes and warmers is included, whether a buffet attendant is provided on-site, the delivery and setup window, and the teardown timing. A menu tasting before signing is worth requesting, particularly for larger corporate or wedding events.

This was my first time visiting the Sentosa outlet, and we went on a Sunday evening with a reservation, it was super crowded, which speaks to its popularity. The menu here is slightly different from the other outlet. We ordered the Spanish grilled octopus, black cod, sashimi platter, and spaghetti vongole. As usual, the restaurant delivers on top-quality seafood with a huge variety, and most of the dishes were as good as always. We were informed that they had run out of clams and would replace the spaghetti vongole with more crabmeat. While it was still alright, it didn’t quite feel like a vongole without the clams. The sashimi platter was a bit of a miss for me……at this price point, I felt I could have gotten better quality elsewhere. That said, the octopus and black cod were excellent and lived up to expectations. A big shout out to manager Madhu, who was incredibly sweet and attentive. When he found out we were celebrating a birthday, he kindly offered us a cake, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Overall, despite a few minor misses with the food, the service truly elevated the experience, and I would definitely return again.

Happened to be there on a weekday when they had their lobster promotion hence it was more affordable and tasty. We also order the seafood platter and server was kind to inform that our orders were sufficient for 2 persons. The batter was thin, light & fluffy and the seafood fresh. The view of the marina was also nice. The only setback was the rancid olive oil that was served at the start. When we informed the staff, they took quite a while amongst themselves to sniff it and concur. Why would we say something untrue. By then the bread was not warm anymore.

Visited on a crowded Friday night but managed to find a table. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. We didn’t have to wait long for the mussels with cream sauce and the fish and chip. Only the man tou was a little delayed but it came after some prompting. Luckily they gave a lot of saffron cream sauce for dipping. Food was delicious. Mussels were fresh.

It was a nice experience. It was difficult for us to choose what to try first. For this dinner we got a couple oyster, lobster Monday, grilled red snapper, watermelon juice, ice tea and ice cream for dessert. We got discount as we stayed at the nearby hotel. A really nice place for seafood, for sure. Highly recommended. Along that path, you can find different cuisines, such as Indian, Italian, Greek, Chinese, French, etc.

Great location, delicious food, and nice atmosphere. I really enjoyed cold seafood platter which came out with shrimps, salmon, oysters and others. Can be a bit pricey depending on what you eat, but considering the quality of the food and other factors, it was totally worth it. The place can be good for both business and personal settings. Thumbs up 👍

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Greenwood Fish Market Catering charge per pax?

Greenwood Fish Market Catering prices on a per-pax basis, with a minimum headcount that typically applies. Singapore market norms for comparable caterers run S$15–25 per pax for standard buffets, S$25–40 per pax for premium spreads, S$18–30 per pax for mini-buffets (minimum 8–15 pax), and S$30–60 per pax for live-station setups. Given the seafood specialism, premium seafood stations and live-grill options are likely to sit at the higher end of that range. Itemise the full cost before confirming: delivery and setup fee (especially for non-central venues), equipment rental such as chafing dishes and warmers (sometimes included, sometimes billed separately), on-site buffet attendant (typically S$80–150 per attendant), waste collection, and GST and service charge where applicable. Request a written quotation that breaks these out line by line. See the full catering cost guide for Singapore →

What dietary options and halal certification does Greenwood Fish Market Catering offer?

Before booking, confirm exactly what dietary accommodations Greenwood Fish Market Catering can provide. For guests who require certified halal food, ask whether the caterer holds a current MUIS halal certificate — 'no pork no lard' or 'halal-friendly' language without a MUIS certificate is not the same as certified halal and will not meet the standard for guests who observe strict halal requirements. Also confirm availability of vegetarian options (lacto-ovo versus vegan), no-beef dishes for Hindu guests, and any gluten-free or nut-free requirements. For mixed dietary events, ask about cross-contamination protocols and whether separate serving utensils and stations are used. Most reputable caterers offer a menu tasting for orders above a minimum value — take up this option before paying any deposit. As a seafood-focused caterer, Greenwood Fish Market Catering is likely to offer strong seafood variety, but verify whether all items on your preferred menu can be prepared to your guests' dietary requirements.

Is Greenwood Fish Market Catering licensed and how is food safety handled?

Legitimate caterers operating in Singapore hold an SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence with a hygiene grade — A is highest, then B, C, and D. No regulatory licences are listed in Greenwood Fish Market Catering's KakiList profile at present; ask the caterer directly for their SFA licence number and hygiene grade before confirming your booking. Halal-certified caterers additionally hold a MUIS certificate, which should appear on the company's website or be available on request. For food safety, hot dishes should be served within roughly a 2–3 hour cooked-to-served window, with hot-hold maintained above 60°C and cold items held below 5°C per SFA guidelines. Confirm the setup arrival time, buffet replenishment protocol, and how leftover food is handled at the end of the event. Greenwood Fish Market Catering carries a 4.2-star rating across 2,816 Google reviews, a robust sample — though review volume does not substitute for licence verification. Confirm the SFA Catering Licence in writing before paying any deposit. Confirm the SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence (and MUIS halal certificate where required), book a tasting before paying the deposit, and put the per-pax rate, minimum headcount, dietary mix, delivery and setup window, and balance schedule in writing.
