Enquiries typically begin with your headcount, event date, venue type, and dietary mix. For barbecue catering, confirm whether the service is fully set-up-and-manned (with pit attendants managing the grill on-site), self-service with equipment provided, or a delivered-and-go arrangement. Clarify the minimum pax threshold, whether equipment such as grills, tongs, and chafing dishes is included or billed separately, and how long the catered spread is staffed. Dietary requirements — halal, no-pork-no-lard, vegetarian — should be raised at enquiry stage, along with the menu spread (meats, seafood, sides, sauces). Confirm delivery and setup lead time, teardown arrangements, and whether a deposit is required on booking.
To get started, reach out to Hungry BBQ Singapore via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form with your event date, estimated headcount, venue address, and any dietary requirements — this gives them enough detail to provide a per-pax quote and confirm slot availability.
Confirm the SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence (and MUIS halal certificate where required), book a tasting before paying the deposit, and put the per-pax rate, minimum headcount, dietary mix, delivery and setup window, and balance schedule in writing.
Awesome food. They are halal and have quality bbq items. Love their meat, wings and satay. The satay is thick unlike some. Even their curry is awesome. Not the first time ordering and definitely not the last time because they are consistent!
Been always getting BBQ meats and cooked food from Hungry BBQ, and I gotta say, they never disappoint! Love the variety in their cooked food menu which is perfect for small to big gatherings even when we're not BBQ-ing. The delivery is always on time, allowing me to choose the more suitable delivery timeslot of 3-5pm/5-7pm for my gatherings! The BBQ meats are well-marinated, and well portioned for my BBQ. I've also had many guests ask where I got them from because they loved the taste. If you’re looking for marinated meat, satays, or otahs, this is the best place to get them! Highly recommend!!
Im honestly grateful that I found such friendly and amazing support from Belden in my last minute order of bbq items! I was just impressed that the main office was opened and it was so easy to pick up items just before my bbq session! Belden was professional and great in making recommendations to make sure I didn’t over buy! Such awesome service and the good’s great too!
I decided to engage Hungry BBQ for my event after reading numerous positive reviews on google. I topped up an additional cost to engage their wingman to cook for us so that my guests would not have to get their hands dirty with cooking. However, it turned out that the wingman assigned to us couldn’t even understand English or Mandarin. I couldn’t even catch his name. We tried to request that he cook the meat first, but he ended up cooking the meat last instead. It was such a disappointing experience. The feeling he gave was that he didn’t even want to be there. Although I booked him for a 3-hour slot, he rushed to cook everything in less than 2-hours. The food turned out to be all cold. I thought that he would try to manage the speed of cooking and check how quickly the food was being consumed before proceeding to cook the next batch, but it seemed like he just wanted to finish cooking all the food as quickly as possible so that he could leave earlier. After he finished cooking, I thought he would clean up the hotplate that he cooked directly on. Hungry BBQ’s management even instructed me to buy a metal scraper beforehand so that the wingman could use it to scrape away the burned areas on the metal hot plate. However on the day itself, the wingman and the company’s management both shirked responsibility and said that the cleaning of the metal hotplate was not within their scope of work and that the condo should be engaging a cleaner to do the clean up. We had to interrupt our dinner to bring down all the cleaning supplies to clean the hotplate ourselves. If I had known that I would have to do the clean-up myself after the cooking, I would have insisted that the wingman cook everything on foil. The experience with the wingman was a truly negative one. Please think twice before you make the decision to engage them. It might be better to just ask your helper to do the cooking for you, or do it yourself.
Seamless and fuss free. Had a good experience when we ordered from Hungry BBQ. Prompt follow up and always quick to answer any queries. Would order again from them next time and will definitely recommend them to friends!

Barbecue catering in Singapore is typically priced on a per-pax basis with a minimum headcount. Standard buffet-style packages run roughly S$15–30/pax, while more premium spreads with seafood, live grilling, and multiple meat stations can reach S$35–60/pax or above. Hungry BBQ Singapore is listed at a mid-range price point ($$), so expect pricing within the lower-to-mid band — confirm exact per-pax rates and minimums directly. Beyond the headline per-pax rate, check what is included: equipment (grills, warmers, chafing dishes, serving utensils), pit attendants or service staff, delivery and setup, and teardown. Add-ons such as additional staffing, extended hours, or equipment rental for larger sites are sometimes billed separately. GST may apply. See the full catering cost guide for Singapore →
Confirm at enquiry stage whether Hungry BBQ Singapore holds a MUIS halal certificate — the listing does not record one currently, and 'no pork no lard' or 'halal-friendly' without a valid MUIS certificate is not equivalent to certified halal for guests who require strict compliance. Ask the provider directly and request sight of the certificate, which should display a licence number and validity dates. For mixed-dietary events, also clarify vegetarian, no-beef (for Hindu guests), and allergen-specific options, as well as cross-contamination protocols when halal and non-halal items are prepared or served at the same event. Most caterers are willing to accommodate dietary splits given sufficient notice — raise this early rather than after the deposit is paid.
Legitimate caterers hold an SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence with a hygiene grade — A is highest, then B, C, D. No licence is recorded in this listing, so confirm the SFA licence and hygiene grade directly with Hungry BBQ Singapore before booking, and ask for the licence number in writing. For barbecue catering specifically, cooked meats should be grilled and served within a roughly 2–3 hour window, with hot-hold above 60°C per SFA food safety guidelines. Confirm setup arrival time, how long the catered spread is actively managed, and the policy for safe handling and packaging of any leftovers. Avoid committing a deposit until the SFA licence is confirmed, especially for events above 30 pax where the food safety stakes are higher. Confirm the SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence (and MUIS halal certificate where required), book a tasting before paying the deposit, and put the per-pax rate, minimum headcount, dietary mix, delivery and setup window, and balance schedule in writing.
