About I-Kidz Children's Clinic
I-Kidz Children's Clinic is a paediatric clinic located at Paragon Medical Centre on Orchard Road, serving families across Singapore. The clinic has been verified by KakiList and holds a 4.3/5 rating across 25 Google reviews — a moderate sample size that is directional. No ACRA registration or MOH Healthcare Services Licence has been confirmed in the data available, and no individual doctor's SMC registration details are on record, which limits confidence in this listing.
Families typically contact a paediatric clinic for well-child visits aligned to the National Childhood Immunisation Programme (NIP) schedule, developmental milestone assessments, and the management of common childhood conditions such as fever, respiratory infections, eczema, and gastroenteritis. For a private specialist paediatric consultation, the first appointment generally runs S$120–250, with additional charges for any investigations ordered — blood panels, throat swabs, or chest X-rays, for instance. Families holding Integrated Shield Plans layered on MediShield Life should confirm pre-authorisation requirements with their insurer before the visit, and MediSave can be drawn under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for eligible childhood conditions. It is advisable to bring the child's health booklet and any previous medical records to the first appointment.
To make an enquiry or schedule a consultation at I-Kidz Children's Clinic, contact the clinic directly by phone or through the enquiry form listed on this page, and confirm the consulting doctor's name, SMC registration, and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before your visit.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Our new paediatrician-of-choice in Singapore! That itself speaks volumes but I love that on our first visit today, the staff were welcoming, and Dr. Irene is a seasoned professional and kind lady too, yay! She took time to understand and explain, allowing my wife and I to share our daughter’s story thoroughly. Dr Irene was eager to listen and understand rather than reply - which was both comforting and refreshing. Examination was brilliant with decades of experience at work, and once again her advice thereafter was thorough and not rushed. Charges were reasonable, don’t worry. Pretty long review but typing as a comforted parent here so… :)
Making a sick, tired, and hungry child wait unnecessarily (over an hour) while prioritizing non-urgent cases is completely unacceptable in my opinion. As a healthcare professional myself, I find this lack of basic patient care and prioritization deeply concerning. I would never allow such poor triage decisions in my own workplace. I brought my daughter to I kidz clinic early in the morning as she woke up with a high fever and body aches. It was the only clinic that looked relatively empty. Given the weekend and the ongoing influenza outbreak, I wanted to get her seen to and treated fast. We arrived just before 9:00 AM (and didn't leave until just after 11.00am.) We were told there would be a wait, which I understood. However, after an hour of waiting, during which there were moments of an empty waiting room, I was informed that they still needed to see five more patients before us—all for routine check-ups. There was no triaging process, no urgency, and absolutely no empathy from the staff. If you’re looking for a clinic that understands urgency and shows compassion, this is not the place.
My children have been seeing Dr Irene Chan since birth and she is our trusted pediatrician for about a decade. Her clinic staffs were always amiable and friendly to the children and parents. Thankful to have them around when it's a distressing time for the family.
Dr Chan is a very professional pediatrician, who’s been taking care of my kids since birth. Very patient, not alarmist, always able to find the best treatment for them without over medicating.
Dr. Irene is best of the best pediatrician. She is very knowledgeable, careful and professional in work. She is always serious, confident, and takes everything important even a tiny mosquitoes bite. This fit her as a Specialist in Pediatrics ICU. Just a simple medical check-up can detect many things. Thanks for your service.

For a private paediatric specialist, first consultations in Singapore typically run S$120–250, with follow-up visits at S$80–180. Common investigations billed on top include blood panels (S$60–200), throat or nasal swabs (S$30–80), chest X-rays (S$80–150), and urine tests (S$20–60). Vaccinations under the National Childhood Immunisation Programme range from S$30–80 per dose at private clinics. For any planned procedure or day surgery, request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding. GST applies on private medical services. See the full paediatric cost guide for Singapore →
No MOH Healthcare Services Licence or SMC doctor registration has been confirmed in the data currently available for I-Kidz Children's Clinic. Before booking, verify the clinic's licence on the MOH licensee directory and confirm the consulting doctor's name and registration status on the Singapore Medical Council public register at smc.gov.sg — both checks are straightforward and take under five minutes. For paediatric specialists, look for accreditation in Paediatric Medicine on the SMC specialist register. Neither the clinic licence nor the doctor's SMC entry alone is sufficient — both should be in order. Confirm these details directly with the clinic when you call or submit your enquiry. Listing data is incomplete — contact I-Kidz Children's Clinic directly to confirm details.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life can cover private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays subject to your plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. Confirm pre-authorisation and request a Letter of Guarantee from your insurer before any planned procedure to avoid claim disputes after the fact. MediSave can be used for selected outpatient items under the S$500/year general withdrawal limit, or S$700/year under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers conditions including asthma, eczema (in some plans), and childhood chronic illnesses. For any planned procedure, ask the clinic for a written financial counselling estimate that clearly splits the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
