About IBCA Clinic Parkway MediCentre Paediatric

About IBCA Clinic Parkway MediCentre Paediatric

IBCA Clinic Parkway MediCentre Paediatric is a paediatric clinic located at The Woodleigh Mall, serving families across Singapore. It holds a 4.2/5 rating across 180 Google reviews — a robust sample that provides a reliable indicator of patient experience. Pricing is positioned in the mid-range ($$), though specific consultation fees were not provided and should be confirmed directly with the clinic.

Families typically begin by contacting the clinic via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to confirm appointment availability and whether the presenting concern — a child's developmental milestone, vaccination schedule, acute illness, or chronic condition — falls within the clinic's scope. At a first paediatric consultation, the doctor will take a full developmental and medical history, administer any due vaccinations under the National Childhood Immunisation Programme (NIP), and arrange investigations such as a blood panel or urine test where clinically indicated. For developmental concerns, the paediatrician may refer to a developmental specialist or allied-health team. Families with an Integrated Shield Plan should check whether the clinic is on their insurer's panel, and those managing a chronic condition in their child may wish to ask about Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) eligibility to access MediSave for outpatient visits.

To make an appointment, contact IBCA Clinic Parkway MediCentre Paediatric directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online form, and bring the child's health booklet and vaccination records to the first visit.

The service is excellent at the paediatrician specialist - parkway medicentre woodleigh. All the nurses were very helpful and friendly. The waiting time was quite fast too even if there is a lot of patients. I would highly recommend this paediatric specialist.

We have been visiting this clinic since my eldest child was born, and the experience has always been excellent. The team is very responsive when it comes to scheduling appointments, and the staff are incredibly friendly and understanding towards parents who are naturally worried about their children. The clinic is also very efficient — medications are dispensed quickly so your child does not have to stay in the clinic longer than necessary. The doctors are wonderful as well. They take the time to explain everything clearly and make sure you fully understand the diagnosis and treatment before the consultation ends. Overall, we are very happy with the clinic, the doctors, nurses, and all the staff. Highly recommended!

Dr. Vella is an exceptional pediatric specialist. As parents, it can be very worrying when your child is unwell, but Dr. Vella was incredibly reassuring and thorough during the consultation. They listened carefully to our concerns, answered all our questions patiently, and made sure we fully understood the diagnosis and treatment plan. Most importantly, they were very gentle and kind with our child, which made a big difference. In addition, I would like to also praise the excellent service from the nurses. They are extremely helpful and friendly. We are very grateful for the care we received and would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Vella to other families.

PDs are attentive, warm, empathetic and efficient with their assessment of my child’s condition. Staff are the sweetest & most helpful 💕 Thivya, in particular, is always ready to provide support. I really love how we are taken care of every time I’m there, although a parent never wants to have to bring their child to a clinic. The clinic is so new, bright and clean too! Even if we ever have to wait in the queue, it’s a pleasant experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does IBCA Clinic Parkway MediCentre Paediatric charge?

Specific fees were not published at the time of listing, so you should confirm directly with the clinic before booking. As a general guide, private paediatric consultations in Singapore typically range from S$120 to S$250 for a first visit and S$80 to S$180 for follow-ups, with GP-level paediatric visits sitting lower at S$25–60. Investigations billed on top of the consultation commonly include blood panels (S$60–200), urine cultures (S$40–80), and X-rays (S$80–150). Vaccinations under the National Childhood Immunisation Programme are priced separately — typically S$30–80 per dose at private clinics. GST applies on private medical services. Is IBCA Clinic Parkway MediCentre Paediatric MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No regulatory licences were provided in this listing, so you should verify independently before booking. Every legitimate clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — searchable on the MOH licensee directory by clinic name or address. Every practising doctor must appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg — search by name to confirm registration status, specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine, and any disciplinary history. For paediatric specialists, a Fellowship of the Academy of Medicine Singapore (FAMS) in Paediatrics or an equivalent Royal College fellowship is the meaningful credential beyond basic SMC registration. Confirm both the clinic licence and the named doctor's SMC entry before your child's first appointment — neither alone is sufficient.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at IBCA Clinic Parkway MediCentre Paediatric?

Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life can cover private specialist paediatric consultations, day procedures, and inpatient stays, subject to your plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider terms — confirm whether the clinic is on your insurer's panel before the visit, and obtain pre-authorisation for any planned procedure to avoid post-visit claim disputes. MediSave outpatient withdrawals are available under the MediSave 500/700 limits (S$500 per year general outpatient; S$700 per year under the Chronic Disease Management Programme for qualifying chronic conditions including asthma and selected others). Vaccinations under the National Childhood Immunisation Programme are separately eligible for MediSave withdrawal up to the prevailing schedule limits. For any planned investigation or procedure, request a written financial counselling session at the clinic so the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and remaining out-of-pocket amount are set out clearly in advance.
