Brought my 5 month old to the clinic. Excellent staff welcome - very professional, polite, friendly and attentive. Dr chin and Dr James were both very thorough with their examination and explanation on what was going on with my girl. Appreciated and valued their knowledge and expertise. They also allayed any anxiety of first time parents such as myself. Clinic is nice and cosy with a mini snack bar! Thank you! Keep up the excellent work!

My sick daughter went to this clinic to see a doctor for nausea and possibly food poisoning. For a consultation and 2 medication provided ( where 1 of the medication was just paracetamol ) this clinic charged $182 dollars. In this age and time this is what we pay private hospitals for emergency services. When questioned by why they had charged so much as it didn’t include any injection administered or additional care given to my sick daughter, they claimed they charge $30 dollars for new patients which wasn’t reflected in the bill nor was it informed to my daughter when she did her registration at the counter before seeing the doctor. This was something they conveniently came up with after receiving my email on asking why such overcharging is happening in a neighbourhood clinic.. Even then, if New patient registration is costing 30 dollars( why is this high as patients need to registered) , their short consultation and 2 medication is costing $152 dollars??? This is absolutely absurd and is a typical case of daylight robbery … despite paying 182 dollars and getting some 2 over the counter medication which didn’t help my daughter recover, she had to go to another clinic in Ang Mo Kio which my daughter visited 2 days later for the same symptoms as the medication given by this clinic was just not getting her any better, this other clinic in Ang mo Kio charged 52 dollars instead. This is a huge disparity and consumers should know that this is a very obvious case of a clinic cheating sick consumers .Pls don’t visit this clinic unless you would like to spend a lot of your money for very simple prescriptions and none to nothing care.

I had the privilege of being seen by Dr. Chin Yee Lee, and I can honestly say she is one of the most competent doctors I’ve ever met — and I’ve seen quite a few throughout my years living abroad. She is truly exceptional. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, but she also takes the time to truly listen and understand her patients. She never rushes through consultations and only makes a diagnosis after carefully examining all the details. She even called me back on her day off to explain a test result that I didn’t fully understand and that had been worrying me. That kind of dedication is rare. I’ve consulted her for several different issues, and now she’s the doctor for our entire family. We’re incredibly grateful to have found her, and I sincerely hope she stays at this clinic for many years to come.

Always prompt and excellent t service from Dr. Eldridge. While the new location at Holland Vilkage is convenient the location at Serangoon is much more cosy.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does IMC Serangoon charge?

Paediatric consultation fees at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$120–250 for a first specialist visit and S$80–180 for follow-ups. Common add-ons include NIP vaccinations (S$30–80 per dose depending on the vaccine), blood panels (S$60–200), and any prescribed medications. GST applies on private medical services. For planned procedures, the clinic should provide a written financial counselling estimate that splits the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions clearly. IMC Serangoon's pricing information is not published on this listing — contact the clinic directly for current consultation fees before booking. See the full paediatric cost guide for Singapore →

Is IMC Serangoon MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

Every legitimate clinic in Singapore holds an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act, verifiable on the MOH licensee directory online. Every practising doctor must appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg — search by the doctor's name to confirm registration status, paediatric specialist accreditation, and any disciplinary history. No licences are currently recorded on this KakiList profile for IMC Serangoon. Parents should verify the clinic's MOH licence and the named paediatrician's SMC entry directly before booking. Both checks are free, take under five minutes, and are standard practice for any private medical appointment. For surgical or subspecialty paediatric work, a Royal College or Academy of Medicine Singapore fellowship (FRCS or FAMS) is the meaningful additional credential beyond basic SMC registration.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at IMC Serangoon?

Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life cover most private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays, subject to each plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. For any planned procedure, confirm pre-authorisation and request a Letter of Guarantee from your insurer before the procedure to avoid claim disputes afterwards. MediSave can be used for selected outpatient items under the MediSave 500/700 withdrawal limits — S$500 per year for general outpatient chronic conditions and S$700 per year under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP). NIP vaccinations for children are partly subsidised under the national programme. For any planned procedure at IMC Serangoon, request a financial counselling session at the clinic so you receive an itemised pre-treatment estimate showing the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions in writing before committing.
