About InterContinental Singapore Wedding
InterContinental Singapore Wedding offers banquet catering services at its property on Nanson Road, covering wedding and event catering across Singapore. The listing is KakiList-verified, and 4.6 out of 5 across 2,334 Google reviews provides a robust and encouraging signal of guest satisfaction. Pricing is structured on a per-pax basis, consistent with hotel banquet catering.
Families planning a wedding banquet will typically begin by contacting the events team via phone or the enquiry form to check date availability, discuss expected headcount, and arrange a menu tasting. Hotel banquet catering at this tier is usually priced per table of ten, with packages covering multi-course sit-down meals rather than open-buffet formats. Key points to clarify upfront include the minimum headcount, dietary mix across your guest list (halal, vegetarian, no-pork, no-beef), whether a MUIS halal certificate applies to any menu stream, in-house service staff, table linen and centrepiece provisions, audio-visual setup, and what surcharges apply for extended function hours. A menu tasting is standard at most hotel venues before a contract is signed.
To proceed, contact the InterContinental Singapore Wedding events team directly by phone or through the enquiry form on their website to check your preferred date, request a full banquet package breakdown, and arrange a venue visit and tasting session before committing to any deposit.
Confirm the SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence (and MUIS halal certificate where required), book a tasting before paying the deposit, and put the per-pax rate, minimum headcount, dietary mix, delivery and setup window, and balance schedule in writing.
Check-in was a breeze and all formalities were handled promptly. It was a smooth start, though not particularly memorable. The location is fantastic, with most attractions within walking distance and a great variety of restaurants nearby. As for the accommodation, the room was clean, well-kept, and equipped with all standard amenities. However, the room size was a bit of a letdown. The space felt quite small by Intercontinental standards. On the bright side, the hotel lounge offered a relaxing atmosphere with a nice selection of snacks. I also thoroughly enjoyed dining outdoors at Publico. The atmosphere was great, the food was excellent, and the portions were generous. Unfortunately, the check-out process needs significant improvement. There was only one staff member on duty for a line of about eight people. While they eventually brought in a second staff member and later a manager to assist, the response was too slow. By the time the situation was under control, several guests had already lost their patience.
We recently stayed at InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay and had a really pleasant experience overall. The room was definitely on the smaller side, but it was very thoughtfully designed so it didn’t feel cramped. Everything was well laid out, clean, and modern. The bed was super comfortable, and I appreciated the quality of the linens and bathroom amenities. It felt cozy and perfect for a short city stay. The location at Robertson Quay is also a big plus — nice riverside area with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance, but still feels quieter and more relaxed compared to the main tourist spots. Service was one of the highlights of the stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. I want to especially mention how well they take care of members. There was clear recognition of membership status at check-in, and the team made an effort to explain the benefits and ensure everything was arranged properly. It felt personalized rather than transactional, which I really appreciated. Overall, even though the rooms aren’t large, the comfort, service, and member recognition made it a great stay. I’d happily return and would definitely recommend it, especially if you’re an IHG member looking for a well-run property in a great neighborhood.
I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay. The service at the Club InterContinental is top-notch and truly sets a high standard. A huge shout-out to Chef Jason for the delightful snacks. The Maple Chicken Wings are out of this world! They are hands down the best wings I’ve had recently—so tender with a perfect hint of sweet maple aroma. I’m honestly obsessed with them! The service staff here are not only professional but also very charming. I’d like to specially thank ESWARAN for his exceptional hospitality. He was incredibly attentive to my needs and always checked in at the perfect moments to ensure I was comfortable. His high-level service made the entire experience feel very personal and premium. Lastly, the hotel’s location and comfort level are superb. Being able to enjoy both sunrise and sunset views right by the river was incredibly relaxing and helped me de-stress completely. Highly recommended!
We have had a pleasant return stay here. The views are great and location is central. We use the club lounge and have been looked after by the amazing staff, in particularly Eswaran who has been the perfect host. Thank you for making our stay comfortable.
Our stay at InterContinental was outstanding. The staff were professional, warm, and incredibly attentive — service was flawless from start to finish. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city and walking distance to Circular Quay, shops, and top dining spots. MRT is 5 mins away. Luxury, convenience, and exceptional service all in one. Highly recommend.

Hotel banquet catering at this tier is typically priced per table of ten rather than per individual head. In Singapore, wedding banquet packages at four- and five-star hotels generally run from S$1,200 to S$2,000+ per table of ten, depending on the menu tier, wine or beverage pairing, and the day of the week (Saturday evenings command a premium). Itemise the following when reviewing any quote: minimum number of tables, setup and teardown within your contracted room time, service staff, corkage policy for BYO wines, audio-visual equipment, and any surcharge for extended hours. GST and a service charge (typically 10% service charge plus 9% GST) apply on top of the quoted rate at hotel venues. Contact InterContinental Singapore Wedding directly for current package pricing. Confirm directly with the events team whether any menu stream holds a MUIS halal certificate — hotel banquet kitchens may offer a halal-certified menu option for events with Muslim guests, but 'no pork no lard' menus without MUIS certification do not meet the standard for guests who require strictly certified halal. Also clarify vegetarian (lacto-ovo vs vegan), no-beef (for Hindu guests), and any severe allergy requirements. For mixed-faith or diverse guest lists, ask whether the kitchen can run separate certified halal and non-halal service from the same banquet, and what cross-contamination protocols are in place. A menu tasting before signing the contract is the standard way to assess dish quality, portion size, and suitability across dietary streams.
Hotel banquet operations in Singapore hold an SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence and are subject to regular NEA hygiene inspections — the hygiene grade (A being the highest) should be displayable on request. As an established hotel property, InterContinental Singapore also operates under SCDF fire-safety certification applicable to its event spaces. Cooked food at banquet service should be held above 60°C until served and the cooked-to-served window for hot dishes should not exceed two to three hours per SFA guidelines. Confirm setup arrival time, replenishment protocol during the function, and what happens to leftover food at teardown. No regulatory licences are listed on this KakiList entry, so it is worth confirming the SFA licence number and any MUIS halal certificate directly with the venue before signing. Confirm the SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence and MUIS halal certificate where required, book a tasting before paying the deposit, and put the per-pax rate, minimum headcount, dietary mix, delivery and setup window, and balance schedule in writing.
