About Junior Baby and Child Clinic
Junior Baby and Child Clinic is a paediatric clinic located at 57 Marine Terrace, #01-133, Singapore 440057, serving families across the island. The clinic holds a 4.9/5 rating across 66 Google reviews — a moderate and encouraging sample. No regulatory licences were provided to KakiList at the time of listing, and ACRA registration could not be confirmed, so parents are advised to verify credentials directly before booking. Pricing is indicated at the S$$ tier, consistent with private paediatric clinic norms.
For a first visit, parents typically call ahead to confirm appointment availability and bring the child's health booklet, vaccination records, and any referral letters. A private paediatric consultation covers presenting concerns — fever, rash, respiratory illness, developmental queries, or behavioural observations — alongside a clinical examination and, where warranted, referral for blood work, urine tests, or imaging. The clinic is well placed to administer National Childhood Immunisation Programme (NIP) vaccinations and to track developmental milestones at the standard review ages. For conditions that require a specialist referral onward (e.g. paediatric cardiology, neurology, or surgery), the paediatrician will issue a referral letter for a public or private hospital outpatient clinic. Payment is typically collected at the point of service; confirm whether the clinic accepts MediSave for CDMP-listed conditions and whether it is a Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) clinic before attending.
Call Junior Baby and Child Clinic directly on the listed phone number to confirm current appointment slots, consultation fees, and the vaccinations available on-site before your visit.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Best pediatrician in sg! The short wait times are awesome, just need to call beforehand and make sure dr junior is around! He is so patient with the kids. I really appreciate how he clearly explain when we can expect our little one to feel better. Plus, his gentle approach makes everything so much easier. Thanks for being such a great doctor!
We recently moved into the area and it feels like such a blessing to have found a Dr that puts our children at ease, validates an anxious mother’s questions and has impeccable service. We were used to waiting hours to see a paediatrician but Dr Junior is quick and efficient without making you feel rushed or that the experience is just a transactional one. Been here twice in one week as our kids kept falling sick one after the other and even on a weekend, we were seen to within 15 minutes and was on our way within 20 minutes. Our kids walked away with stickers and treats and we as parents don’t have to carve too long in our work day waiting to see the Dr. can also use CDA to pay for consult and medicine. Happy to have found Dr Junior.
The only doctor I trust who doesn’t believe in unnecessarily medicating and offers very good advice. He has been there for both my kids when they were sick and thanks to him every doctors visit doesn’t feel like I’m drowning my babies in medication. Thanks Dr Junior!
Found this place on Google maps and like what the others have mentioned, it’s a gem! Dr Junior was very patient with our boy and played with him to make him feel comfortable. He empathises with his patient and with us parents and having visited multiple doctors in recent months for various reasons, it’s refreshing as it doesn’t feel transactional. One of the few doctors who really has passion. Thanks Dr Junior.
My favourite PD to visit for my child’s ailments. The clinic doesn’t usually have a long wait time, especially compared to many paediatric clinics in the vicinity (Parkway East etc). Dr Junior is also extremely patient, attentive and caring. He takes time to listen to parents and is always assuring and thorough in his examinations. The clinic itself might seem dated or plain but there is very little to complain about my experiences here.

Private paediatric consultations in Singapore typically run S$80–150 for a first visit and S$60–120 for follow-ups at a clinic of this tier. On top of the consultation fee, expect additional charges for vaccinations (S$30–80 per dose depending on the vaccine, with NIP vaccines partially subsidised for Singapore Citizens and PRs under the National Childhood Immunisation Programme), a blood or urine panel (S$60–200), and any prescribed medications. GST applies on private medical services. For any planned procedure or specialist referral, request a written financial counselling estimate that sets out the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions in advance. MediSave can be used for selected outpatient items under the S$500/year general limit or the Chronic Disease Management Programme S$700/year limit where applicable. Confirm whether the clinic is a CHAS clinic, which would reduce out-of-pocket costs for eligible Singapore Citizens. See the full paediatric cost guide for Singapore →
No regulatory licences were supplied to KakiList for this listing. Every legitimate paediatric clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory — and every practising doctor must appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg. Search the consulting paediatrician by name to confirm their registration status, specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine, and any disciplinary history. For paediatric specialists, an MMED (Paediatrics) or MRCP (UK) fellowship, or Fellowship of the Academy of Medicine Singapore (FAMS) in paediatrics, is the meaningful credential beyond basic SMC registration. Contact the clinic directly to confirm the named doctor's qualifications and to request the MOH clinic licence number before booking.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally cover inpatient admissions and day surgery, but outpatient paediatric consultations at a private clinic are typically self-pay unless your IP includes an outpatient rider. Confirm your policy terms with your insurer before the appointment. MediSave can be used for selected outpatient items — S$500/year under the general outpatient limit, or S$700/year under the Chronic Disease Management Programme for eligible chronic conditions such as asthma. Vaccinations under the National Childhood Immunisation Programme are partially funded by the government for Singapore Citizens and PRs at CHAS GP and polyclinic rates, but private paediatric clinics charge at private rates unless they participate in the CHAS or MOH vaccination subsidy scheme. Ask the clinic explicitly whether it participates in these programmes and what the out-of-pocket cost per vaccine dose will be before proceeding.
