About Kids Clinic Bedok

About Kids Clinic Bedok

Kids Clinic Bedok is a paediatric clinic located at 136 Bedok North Avenue 3, serving families across Singapore. It is listed as KakiList-verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. The Google rating stands at 3.0 out of 5 across 45 reviews — a moderate sample size, though the below-average score warrants attention before booking. No MOH Healthcare Services Licence or Singapore Medical Council registration has been provided in the listing data, which is a material gap for a medical provider; parents are strongly advised to confirm these directly with the clinic.

For a first paediatric visit, parents typically call ahead or submit an enquiry form to check appointment availability and bring the child's health booklet covering immunisation history and developmental milestones under the National Childhood Immunisation Programme. The consulting doctor will take a history, perform a physical examination, and advise on treatment or further investigations such as a blood panel, urine test, or referral to a paediatric specialist at a public hospital. For Integrated Shield Plan claims or MediSave use under the Chronic Disease Management Programme, confirm the clinic's eligibility status before the appointment. Routine follow-ups for common childhood conditions — respiratory infections, eczema, gastroenteritis — are typically scheduled within one to two weeks.

Contact Kids Clinic Bedok by phone or via the enquiry form on their listing to confirm appointment slots, the consulting doctor's name and SMC registration, and whether your Integrated Shield Plan or MediSave arrangement is accepted before attending. Listing data is incomplete — contact Kids Clinic Bedok directly to confirm details.

Our go to clinic for my children since 3 years. When I went for the first time, I was bit doubtful about the waiting time and treatment, and Its a very good experience since then. My elder child had fever and Dr Lim suggested to go for a blood sample and found out to be infection and immediately given antibiotics oral medication which put the infection under control. Though some had bad experiences about waiting time and reception, personally our experience is good so far.

Was abit skeptical going to this clinic due to the reviews. It is overpriced ($200-$250 for cough + blocked nose) but that was not the main reason for the review. Was prescribed cough syrup + airway syrup for my 3 months baby, only to find out today from the gov doctor that we should not be giving those as my baby is still so small (We brought the meds over for the doc to review). Was informed to stop giving those meds immediately. Alot of my friend whose baby had cough went to hosp and was also given the same advice (baby too young to give syrup meds). Wish we visited another doctor sooner cause we already gave almost half the bottle over that 2 weeks and no improvements.

Dr Lim is kind and proficient and so are her nurses. Nephew has also been under her care since he was born.

Does not recommend, went there as a last resort unless no choice. Their medicine are old and very quick to their expiry. Brought my son for consultation in July 2024 and was surprised that the expiry date is in Sept2024. Not only that incident, the past few visits the medicines are at least 2 years old

Went to the clinic first before its was open and when the clinic was open we went inside and registered for our child . After that we see people went in and already see the doctor , we waited about 1.5 hours and the management very terrible. People came after us managed to get in first. Front counter never even bother to register my child name but instead let other people go in even if my child is not sick . I just want to collect some meds or cream for my child that’s all , eh come on la 1.5 hours outside waiting . What a joke la this clinic , no standard .

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Kids Clinic Bedok charge?

Paediatric GP and general clinic consultations in Singapore typically run S$25–60 at a GP level and S$120–250 for a first private specialist consultation (follow-up S$80–180). Kids Clinic Bedok displays a mid-range '$$' price indicator, but no specific fee schedule has been provided in the listing. Common add-ons billed on top of the consultation include vaccinations (S$30–80 per dose under the National Childhood Immunisation Programme, with Medisave claimable for certain doses), blood panels (S$60–200), and any prescription medication. GST applies on private medical services. For any planned procedure or investigation, request a written breakdown of costs — insurance, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket — before proceeding. Is Kids Clinic Bedok MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No MOH Healthcare Services Licence and no Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration have been listed for Kids Clinic Bedok. Every legitimate clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act, verifiable on the MOH licensee directory. Every practising doctor must appear on the SMC public register at smc.gov.sg — search by name to confirm registration status, specialist accreditation, and any disciplinary history. Parents should ask the clinic directly for the MOH licence number and the consulting doctor's SMC registration number before booking. Neither the clinic licence nor the doctor's SMC entry can be substituted by a business registration or third-party listing. Confirm both before attending, particularly for any investigation or treatment beyond a routine review. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Kids Clinic Bedok?

Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life cover most private specialist consultations and day surgery subject to the plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. Confirm pre-authorisation with your insurer before any planned procedure to avoid claim disputes after the fact. MediSave can pay for selected outpatient items under the MediSave 500/700 withdrawal limits — S$500 per year for general outpatient use and S$700 per year under the Chronic Disease Management Programme for listed chronic conditions including asthma and selected childhood conditions. For National Childhood Immunisation Programme vaccinations, certain doses are MediSave-claimable up to S$400 per Medisave account per year. Confirm the clinic's MediSave eligibility and IP panel status before the visit, as not all private clinics are on every insurer's panel. Request a written cost estimate for any investigation or treatment so you know the out-of-pocket portion in advance.
