About Kids Clinic Sengkang

About Kids Clinic Sengkang

Kids Clinic Sengkang is a paediatric clinic located at Compass One in Sengkang, serving families across Singapore. The clinic has been listed on KakiList with verified contact details. It carries a 3.3/5 rating across 108 Google reviews — a robust sample size, though the below-average score warrants careful reading of recent reviews before booking. No regulatory licences have been confirmed in the listing data at this time.

Families typically approach a paediatric clinic for the National Childhood Immunisation Programme (NIP) vaccination schedule, assessment of developmental milestones, management of acute childhood illnesses (fever, respiratory infections, gastroenteritis), and follow-up for chronic conditions such as asthma or eczema. For a first consultation at a private paediatric clinic, the typical fee in Singapore runs S$120–250, with investigations such as a blood panel, throat swab, or urine test billed on top. If you hold a polyclinic referral letter, you may instead access a subsidised specialist outpatient clinic (SOC) at a public hospital at S$30–80 for Singapore Citizens, though waiting times for non-urgent referrals typically run four to twelve weeks. Parents should also confirm whether Integrated Shield Plan (IP) coverage or MediSave applies to the consultation and any prescribed medications.

To make an appointment, contact Kids Clinic Sengkang directly by phone or through the online enquiry form listed on this page, and bring your child's health booklet and any referral letter from a GP or polyclinic if applicable. We’ve visited The Kids Clinic three times, and each visit has been a pleasant and reassuring experience. During our most recent visit, our 7-month-old son had a persistent high fever. As first-time parents, we were understandably very anxious. The doctor immediately did a swab test and confirmed RSV, then calmly assured us that everything was under control. The explanation was clear, detailed, and delivered with so much patience, and all our questions were answered thoroughly, which really helped ease our worries. We’ve seen both doctors at the clinic, and they are equally kind, gentle, and professional. They are also very thoughtful when it comes to prescribing medication, taking care not to over-prescribe, especially when visits are close together. Not forgetting the nurses and clinic staff — everyone is warm, kind, and welcoming, making the entire experience even more comforting. We are truly thankful to have found this clinic and would highly recommend The Kids Clinic to any parent looking for compassionate, attentive, and trustworthy care for their children. 💙

I’ve been bringing my son to Dr. Lillian Lim since he was born — he turns 9 this year — and I truly can’t recommend her enough. As a naturally anxious (very paranoid) mom, trust that I am extremely particular about who I trust with my child’s health. Dr. Lim has always been incredibly professional and thorough. She listens carefully and is excellent at her diagnosis. Every visit leaves me feeling reassured and confident that my sons are in the best hands. My son has been admitted to the hospital a couple of times under her care, and each time she managed his treatment with such competence and attention that he made a full recovery. Having a doctor who is not only medically skilled but also genuinely caring makes all the difference. Dr. Lim is truly one of the very few doctors I trust wholeheartedly with my child. We’re so grateful for her.

Have been going to Kid's Clinic for both my sons for 7 years now. Both Dr Allyson and Dr Lillian are kind, good with kids, professional and competent. The nurses team are super patient & nice - they manage the queues well and will call to notify if available slots open up ahead of your booked time. Really appreciate the doctors & team! ❤️

Can't give 5 star review because I can't even walked in. Called up and the staff named Sandy just said they are full. It was 1243pm. But she just stopped there without providing a solution. Even asked me to google and visit another clinic at a nearby block. Kids fall sick unexpectedly. Not something that is planned. If i knew my kid is falling sick today, i would called to make an appointment a few days prior. Rather than being dismissive, she could have explained that if I chose to walk in, it will be a long wait. Thanks for the excellent service.

Compared to The Kid’s Clinic at Sengkang Grand Mall, the Compass One branch is better. It’s the same brand, but the service is different. The counter staff are very friendly, they play with our baby, talk to our baby, and make the baby smile. All the staff serve with a smile. The doctor is also friendly and explains our baby’s condition in great detail. Making an appointment is easier compared to The Kid's Clinic at Sengkang Grand Mall.

Is Kids Clinic Sengkang MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No regulatory licences have been confirmed in the current listing data for Kids Clinic Sengkang. Every legitimate clinic premises must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must be registered on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can search by name to confirm registration status, specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine, and any disciplinary history. Parents are strongly encouraged to verify both the clinic licence on the MOH directory and the consulting doctor's SMC registration before booking, particularly as no licences are currently listed here. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Kids Clinic Sengkang?

Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life can cover private specialist consultations and day procedures subject to the plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. Confirm pre-authorisation with your insurer before any planned procedure to avoid claim disputes. For outpatient visits, MediSave withdrawal is capped at S$500 per year under the general outpatient limit, rising to S$700 per year if the child's condition falls under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) — which covers selected chronic childhood conditions such as asthma. For NIP childhood vaccinations, some doses are claimable under MediSave under the Medisave for Flexi-vaccinations scheme. Parents should ask the clinic for a written financial counselling breakdown before any non-routine procedure so that the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions are clear before payment. Skipping this step is the most common reason families are surprised by their final bill.
