About Kids Clinic Tampines

About Kids Clinic Tampines

Kids Clinic Tampines is a paediatric clinic located at 9 Tampines Grande, #01-17, serving families across Singapore. The clinic has a 3.8/5 rating across 163 Google reviews — a robust sample that provides a reasonable basis for comparison, though individual experiences will vary. No regulatory licences are currently listed on this directory profile, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed; parents are encouraged to verify these details directly with the clinic before booking.

For a first visit, families typically present with an acute concern — fever, respiratory symptoms, rash, ear infection, or developmental queries — or attend for scheduled immunisations on the National Childhood Immunisation Programme (NIP) schedule. The consulting paediatrician will take a history, conduct an examination, and where necessary request investigations such as a blood panel, urine test, or swab. Follow-up visits may be arranged for ongoing management of conditions such as asthma, eczema, or growth and developmental monitoring. For private specialist paediatric consultations, first-appointment fees typically run S$120–250, with investigations billed separately; confirm costs at the time of booking. Parents using an Integrated Shield Plan should check pre-authorisation requirements with their insurer, and MediSave may be used for selected outpatient consultations under the MediSave 500 or Chronic Disease Management Programme limits where applicable.

Contact Kids Clinic Tampines by phone or through the enquiry form to confirm current appointment availability, consultation fees, and after-hours arrangements before attending.

We have been consulting Dr. Wendy since 2019, and our experience has been consistently excellent. She is knowledgeable, patient, and truly caring with children and parents alike. She takes time to listen, explains everything clearly, and always makes us feel reassured. We trust her completely and highly recommend her to any parent looking for a reliable and compassionate pediatrician. Thanks Dr. YESS Family

I brought my baby to see Dr. Wendy at Tampines Kids Clinic after a recent hospitalisation because I was worried about a possible relapse. I took time to explain his symptoms thoroughly and also mentioned the rashes on his face but to my surprise, Dr. Wendy didn’t even take a look at them. After the visit, my baby’s condition worsened, and we had to rush him back to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with measles and had to be admitted. The medication prescribed earlier did not help at all, and we ended up wasting almost $400 on the visit that offered neither proper attention nor accurate diagnosis. I understand that not every condition is immediately obvious, but what was most disappointing was the lack of thoroughness and care shown during the visit especially when dealing with a recently hospitalised baby.

Very warm and friendly receptionists. Dr Wendy is reassuring and skilled with babies even though mine was cranky that time. Very positive experience and will be back if baby is sick again (hopefully not though)

Do not visit this clinic if you can!!!!!. It is the most expensive clinic i encounter. My bill is close to $500plus. Just for stomach flu for my boys One close to $350plus and $240plus They also charge for Mask! $0.50 Then only give 1 free mask for a parent. I mention I have 2 boys. Why charge? Shouldn’t it be 1 each? The reason they give is 1 parent can take turn to bring one each in. 😒 And there is not enough seaters outside. Some parents have to carry throughout. !! Overall! It was really a bad experience and I will not bring my kids here again. I rather go straight to KK next time!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Kids Clinic Tampines charge?

For a private paediatric consultation, first visits in Singapore typically cost S$120–250, with follow-up appointments running S$80–180. On top of the consultation fee, investigations are billed separately — a full blood count or urine test runs roughly S$60–120, while swabs or cultures may add a further S$50–100. Vaccinations on the National Childhood Immunisation Programme schedule are typically S$30–80 per dose depending on the vaccine. Parents should confirm the exact fee structure with the clinic directly, as pricing varies by the complexity of the consultation and the investigations ordered. For any planned procedure or course of treatment, request a written breakdown that separates consultation, investigation, medication, and any follow-up costs so there are no surprises at the counter. Is Kids Clinic Tampines MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No regulatory licences are currently listed for Kids Clinic Tampines on this directory profile. Every legitimate private clinic in Singapore must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must also appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg; search by the consulting doctor's name to confirm registration status and any specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine. Parents are strongly encouraged to verify both the clinic's MOH licence and the named doctor's SMC registration before booking, as neither alone is sufficient confirmation. For paediatric specialists, a fellowship from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH or FRCPCH) or a FAMS (Paediatric Medicine) accreditation from the Academy of Medicine Singapore is the meaningful additional credential. Contact the clinic directly to request these details.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Kids Clinic Tampines?

MediSave can be used for selected outpatient paediatric consultations under the MediSave 500 withdrawal limit (S$500 per year for general outpatient chronic condition management) and through the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers conditions including asthma in children. Routine GP-style consultations and acute visits do not typically qualify for MediSave outpatient withdrawal, so check eligibility with the clinic before assuming MediSave will apply. If your child is covered under a parent's Integrated Shield Plan (IP) layered on MediShield Life, confirm with your insurer whether outpatient specialist paediatric visits are claimable under your specific plan tier — many plans cover inpatient and day-surgery episodes but have limited or no outpatient specialist benefits. For any planned procedure or referral to a hospital, request pre-authorisation and a Letter of Guarantee from your insurer in advance to avoid claim disputes after the fact. A written financial counselling estimate from the clinic that splits insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions is the clearest way to avoid an unexpected bill.
