It is not acceptable for a clinic to schedule appointments starting at 9am when the doctor only arrives after 10am. I understand doctors may have hospital commitments, but if that is the case, the clinic should schedule the first appointment at a realistic time instead of making patients wait for over an hour. Patients plan their day around these appointments, and wasting an hour of people’s time shows little respect for patients. Doctors in Singapore are already highly respected and privileged professionals, and basic punctuality should be expected.

Both my daughters, 18 months and 1 month old, have been seen by Dr Irene. Dr Irene takes time to listen to our concerns and thoroughly checks my daughters. Though the clinic is packed with walk-ins and appointments, the staff are quick to attend to all parents. The staff are friendly and follow up with appointments promptly. My son is with Dr Irene since he was small due to his allergic and OSA. Dr Irene take care of him patiently and sometimes waiting time will be a bit longer for walk in (which is understandable). Dr Irene never said no as she understands the urgency of some situations, she will take me even though her appointment is full. Other doctors will just reject me when their appointments are full. She will only prescribe antibiotics when required.
