My kid had an acute infection and our usual PDs were closed or full so decided to call in to Kidslink and surprisingly managed to get a slot. The receptionists were polite and great at handling my kid while I filled up the form. It was a short wait. Dr Vanessa was very professional and also wonderful with kids. We were also offered preventive measures against recurrent infections which we thought was extremely helpful. The entire process was a breeze and we would definitely consider coming here in future! :)

Since it's one of the better ones around quite a area {Sengkang and Punggol included} the rush is expected. Average waiting time is 45 mins to 1 hr on a weekday. Dr. Vanessa is good and sounds knowledgeable.

The doctor said it was rhinitis and that surgery might be needed. But then kid caught a viral cold and ended up staying at KK Hospital for a few days. After that, she never went to see that doctor again. Also, this doctor always insists on using only the medicine she recommends—even something like Panadol must be the one she prescribes.

If you can, look elsewhere. My 5 and 2 year old sons had suspected chicken pox and we brought them here at clinic opening time (around 8.45am), we were one of the first 3 patients in queue. Understand that they can't allow us to wait inside the clinic as my boys can be infectious. So we waited outside in such a hot morning. Despite being first 3 patients in queue, we were seen by the doctor only around 10.45am. I am not sure what the arrangements were but they allowed other patients first. After all the wait (imagine how cranky the kids were), Dr. Vanessa Tan told us she couldn't diagnose both my boys. She said their rashes looked like chicken pox but they have just recovered from it about 1-2 weeks ago. Instead she referred us to a dermatologist. Just for this "I cannot diagnose", we were charged 2x consultation fees (repeated consultation rate for elder boy and first visit consultation rate for younger boy)!! I do not think this is justifiable but decided not to argue. It will be our last visit anyway. The same day we managed to see another dermatologist who immediately diagnosed my boys with "folliculitis". A few months later another GP also gave the same diagnosis when my son had similar rashes again. I know diagnosis can be very dependent on each doctor, but I just felt that being a paediatrician, Dr. Tan could have done a better job. At least, she could have shown some empathy to her patients when she made them waited for hours for no diagnosis.

Receptionist is horrible and has serious attitude problem. Insulted customer when asked for clearer time instruction, and quarreled with Patient's parent. We took our 2yo there who has a fever, told by the receptionist to wait outside in the hot weather. In fact, all kids need to wait outside event when they are little and sick. We came back after 45min checking the waiting time, was told to wait min. another 1 hour. We pointed out that if she could inform us upon registration that we need to wait for 1h45min, we could have our baby wait at home or car, my baby is feeling sick and it's very hot outside. The receptionist became extremely rude and inpatient, saying "did you see how many are in the room just now? did you see? doctor very busy today you know?" and when I want to clarify about my point simply is she needs to give clear information to patient, she just LEFT after saying "then you talk to the doctor". I spoke with Doctor Vanessa Tan that this is horrible and unacceptable behavior and no patient should be treated without respect and dignity like this. Clinic, please take note of your receptionist at237 Compassvale Walk #01-532. It's a disaster for your business.
