Horrible experiences at this clinic on three occasions!!! Please do not go there for your little ones. 1) We gave birth at Mount E, and was assigned Dr Pradeep as paeds doctor. Baby blood test was shown as B+ on the lab report but Dr Pradeep from this clinic indicated in health booklet as O. This mess up is incredulous, and what if we did not spot it, would baby’s blood group be wrongly indicated in all the hospital records??? What if there was an emergency and the wrong blood was transfused???! We went back for review and Dr Pradeep did not take it seriously and laughed it off and just asked the clinic to correct it, which they only strike out and signed instead of reprinting. THIS MISTAKE SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED. 2) our baby has dry skin and eczema and was prescribed this Aloe Vera gel from clinic but upon using we found plastic looking needles in the gel (blue circles in photo). We emailed the clinic but they just nonchalantly told us “not sure what it is. If there’s no swelling or redness, no urgent treatment needed”. Should you not know what the gel contains if you’re selling it?? And if you see these kind of needle looking stuff, shouldn’t you offer parents to come down with the gel and offer an exchange??? Their service is the lousiest I’ve ever encountered. 3) our baby had dried up blood in the ear and i tried calling the clinic multiple times but no response. Thereafter emailed them on 12 November with photos with my baby’s ear and asked if we should come down for a check. It has been 5 days and still no reply at all. I would never ever recommend this paeds clinic to anyone, the waiting time is super long as we waited 1-2hours everytime despite having an appointment time. Service is slow and insincere, email replies and phone answering is non-existent.

Would give a 0 or negative review if I could. We initially decided against a review but upon reflection felt that it would be good to reiterate what many of the other reviewers have pointed out. Our newborn had an ultrasound done in May 2025. We repeatedly tried to contact the clinic and didn't hear any news. So we assumed that all was in order. My intuition prompted me to insist on a response so I went down to the clinic and requested (demanded) for a reply. We only heard back more than a month later and to our horror, there was actually a further medical condition highlighted that required deeper investigation.. It was an emotionally trying period for us especially as new parents. It was extremely negligent on Dr P's part.. and we hope that others would exercise caution too. Wait times are horrible and there are many places you could go to with better service and patient management.

Simply put, if you love your kids and have any self-respect, you will choose another clinic. They clearly don't want more patients. But instead of just saying so, they show with the way they treat parents and kids who come there. The irony is the poster about abuse on their door. It works both ways. Abuse is not just about raising your voice. Mistreating parents and kids by lying is also a form of abuse. Making sick kids wait for extended periods of time to cater to regulars tells you all you need to know about the clinic. Who in their right frame of mind would send their child here?

If there was an option to give zero star, I would have done that. I was asked to come in during the walk in period which I did for my kid who was in discomfort. I waited 1.5 hours only to see that every single person who came after me saw the doctor before me. No proper system of queue. Is it possible for a kid who is not well to wait 1.5 hours at a clinic? I have consulted other pediatricians also, I have not seen such terrible mismanagement. This kind of establishment, which makes people wait hours to provide a service should not be supported. Only then they will do something about it.

Extremely Disappointing Experience On Monday, we arrived at 10:30 AM and were told there were five patients ahead of us to consult Dr Pradeep Raut. We patiently waited for two hours. At noon, when we reconfirmed, we were assured we were next — yet, another patient was called in ahead of us, and Dr Pradeep left the clinic immediately afterward. If there was no time to accommodate us, we would have appreciated being informed earlier. It’s heartbreaking that my little one waited two hours, only to return home without being seen. @Dr Pradeep: We deeply respect your medical expertise, but this experience left us feeling dismissed and unheard. A little communication and acknowledgement would have gone a long way. And not to mention the utter lack of empathy shown by your staff / nurses.

How much does Kinder Clinic Novena Mt Elizabeth charge?

Private paediatric specialist consultations in Singapore typically run S$120–250 for a first visit and S$80–180 for follow-ups. On top of the consultation fee, expect additional charges for investigations such as blood panels (S$60–200), throat or urine swabs, X-rays (S$80–150), or referral letters. Is Kinder Clinic Novena Mt Elizabeth MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No regulatory licences have been provided in this listing, which is a gap that parents should resolve directly with the clinic before booking. Every legitimate paediatric clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory online. Every practising doctor must appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg; search by the consulting doctor's name to confirm registration status, specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine, and any disciplinary history. For surgical or subspecialty paediatric work, a fellowship from the Royal College or the Academy of Medicine Singapore (FAMS) is the meaningful additional credential. Confirm both the clinic's MOH licence and the named doctor's SMC entry before your appointment — neither alone is sufficient.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Kinder Clinic Novena Mt Elizabeth?

Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life can cover private specialist consultations, day procedures, and inpatient stays, subject to your plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider terms. Contact your insurer before a planned procedure to obtain pre-authorisation and, where applicable, a Letter of Guarantee — this prevents claim disputes after the fact. For outpatient visits, MediSave can be withdrawn under the S$500/year general outpatient limit or the S$700/year Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) limit for conditions such as childhood asthma or other listed chronic conditions. For any planned procedure at a private facility, request a financial counselling session — the clinic should issue an itemised pre-treatment estimate that clearly states the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket amount in writing. Skipping this step is the most common reason families are surprised by their final bill.
