About Kinder Clinic Parkway East

About Kinder Clinic Parkway East

Kinder Clinic Parkway East is a paediatric clinic located at 319 Joo Chiat Place, Level 3, serving families across Singapore. KakiList has verified the operating details and contact channel. The clinic holds a 3.4/5 rating across 56 Google reviews — a moderate sample size, though the rating is below the typical range for well-regarded private paediatric practices and warrants attention before booking.

For a first visit, parents typically contact the clinic by phone or via the online form to describe the child's presenting concern and secure an appointment. A paediatric consultation covers acute illness (fever, respiratory infection, rashes, gastroenteritis), developmental milestone review, and the National Childhood Immunisation Programme (NIP) schedule from birth through adolescence. The consulting doctor reviews the child's history, performs an examination, and where necessary orders investigations — blood panel, urine culture, or referral for imaging — before setting out a treatment plan and prescriptions. Parents with Integrated Shield Plans layered on MediShield Life should confirm pre-authorisation requirements with their insurer for any planned procedure or specialist referral. MediSave can be used for selected outpatient claims under the Chronic Disease Management Programme and within the S$500/S$700 withdrawal limits for eligible conditions.

To book, contact Kinder Clinic Parkway East by phone or through the enquiry form, confirm the consultation fee upfront, and bring the child's health booklet and vaccination records to the first visit.

Visited during a very busy time in the evening with my poorly daughter. The receptionist was busy but ensured we were looked after and registered properly. Dr. Siva was very knowledgeable and experienced to diagnose and follow up with a phone call. Thanks to all the team.

Our usual PD was closed so we came here. There was already a queue 15min before opening, but we were third in line so it wasn’t too long a wait. Registration was smooth. Dr Goh was wonderful with our kid and very patient in explaining everything.

1 star to the reception and Dr Cheng. - newborn check for jaundice scheduled - Dr Cheng clearly told us to be there before 10am - arrived at 945am with a severe jaundice (291 for day 4), persistent sleepiness, tea coloured pee, poor feeding (can't stay awake for even 3 min to drink milk) - Dr cheng wasnt even in clinic to do a physical assessment and dismissed us to go home to monitor at home with a phototherapy machine for rental. Upon asking for more info, receptionist just said "they will send the machine to your home and explain. Doctor is not here today and anyway it will be more convenient for you than admitting to hospital" - when asked to see another doctor who is in the clinic the receptionist said "you don't have an appointment with another doctor so you will have to wait" this is despite having an appt with Dr Cheng who was not in. - we waited till 11am and finally saw Dr Goh who thankfully made the decision to admit our child for double light phototherapy treatment for 2 nights - one day later the readings have dropped from 291 to 230 and he is able to stay awake to drink milk If I were a first time mother, inexperienced to the signs of severe jaundice and had blindly listened to the receptionist, I shudder to think of what might have happened to my newborn one more day later. 5 stars to Dr Goh who stepped in to help. Dr Goh was patient and thorough in his check up for our newborn who has severe jaundice and was swift in admitting him for phototherapy treatment. He also displayed great empathy and understanding towards worried parents and was very patient in explaining the treatment and condition of our child.

Dr Goh is indeed very patient with children, he would even actively take down notes during consultation to ensure accurate and detailed diagnosis. He also never rushes during his consultation, and would go an extra mile to explain everything to the parents.

Dr Goh was incredibly detailed and patient in explaining the various possible causes of my daughter’s condition. He takes a reasonable approach and does not push for unnecessary tests, while still giving sufficient information for parents to make informed decisions. Was also friendly towards my child and made her feel at ease. The receptionists were also kind and friendly. Thanks Dr Goh and team!

Is Kinder Clinic Parkway East MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No regulatory licences are currently listed for Kinder Clinic Parkway East on KakiList. Every legitimate clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory — and every practising doctor must appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg. Parents are strongly advised to check both before booking. Search the consulting doctor's name on the SMC register to confirm active registration status, specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine, and any disciplinary history. For paediatric specialisms, a Fellowship of the Academy of Medicine Singapore (FAMS) in Paediatric Medicine is the meaningful additional credential beyond basic SMC registration. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Kinder Clinic Parkway East?

Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life can cover private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays subject to each plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. For any planned procedure, confirm pre-authorisation and a Letter of Guarantee from your insurer beforehand to avoid claim disputes after the fact. MediSave can be used for selected outpatient items under the MediSave 500/700 withdrawal limits — S$500 per year for general outpatient claims, S$700 per year for conditions covered under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which includes asthma and other listed childhood chronic conditions. Vaccinations on the national childhood immunisation schedule may be partially MediSave-claimable. For any planned procedure, ask for a financial counselling session at the clinic and request an itemised pre-treatment estimate in writing. Skipping this step is the most common reason families are surprised by their final bill.
