About Language Edge
Language Edge is a tuition centre operating islandwide from its office at International Plaza, Anson Road, in the Central Business District. The listing is KakiList verified, meaning operating details and contact information have been confirmed by a real person. Based on five Google reviews, it holds a perfect 5/5 rating, though that sample is too small to draw firm conclusions, and prospective clients should treat it as directional only. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier.
When enquiring, it is worth confirming which level and syllabus Language Edge covers — whether that is the MOE primary or secondary curriculum, PSLE preparation, O-Level English, or another language programme — and whether sessions are offered one-to-one or in small groups. Ask about term commitment and whether there is flexibility to join mid-term. If the centre offers both in-person and online formats, clarify which suits your schedule and learning style. Materials fees and any registration charges are worth asking about upfront so you have a clear picture of the total cost per term.
The most practical next step is to reach out via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about a trial class, confirm availability for your child's level, and request a breakdown of session fees and term structure before committing.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Very helpful staff to get you started. You can do a free trial lesson before enrolling. The teachers are very patient and want you to succeed. You also get videos of the lessons and additional audio material to keep practicing outside of classroom. Highly recommend Chinese Edge.
It has been so pleasuring to have met the teacher, Ms. Zhang in my Chinese learning. She has a sense of humour to enlighten and let students understand clearly.

Language Edge displays a mid-range price indicator, but a precise per-session or monthly fee is not publicly listed. Tuition centres in Singapore typically charge on a per-session basis, as a bundled monthly package, or by the school term. Rates vary depending on whether sessions are one-to-one or group-based, and on the level being taught. It is worth asking about a trial class fee separately, as some centres charge a nominal amount for the first session while others include it in the first month's fee. Ask also whether printed materials, workbooks, or online resources are included or billed separately, and whether sibling or package discounts apply. Many tuition centres in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced rate or at the standard per-session fee, before asking families to commit to a term or monthly arrangement. A trial is a practical way to assess whether the teaching style suits your child, whether the pace and level are appropriate, and whether the class size allows for sufficient attention. During or after the trial, consider whether your child was engaged throughout, whether the tutor addressed questions clearly, and whether the syllabus coverage aligns with what is being taught in school. Contact Language Edge directly via WhatsApp or phone to confirm their trial class policy and any associated cost.
Language Edge has not published specific tutor credentials in its listing. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask whether tutors hold a degree in the relevant language or subject, whether any have an NIE qualification or prior MOE teaching experience, and how long they have been teaching at this centre. For language-focused tuition, it is also worth confirming which syllabus or examination board the curriculum is aligned to — for example, MOE English or Mother Tongue, IGCSE, or another framework. If this information is not immediately available, ask to speak with or observe the assigned tutor before committing to a term.
If Language Edge isn't the right fit, these are other tuition centers providers on KakiList worth shortlisting. All are independently listed — no affiliate fees, no "featured" sponsorships.
