When enquiring, confirm the minimum pax count for your event format — vegetarian buffets in Singapore typically require a minimum of 30 to 50 guests, while smaller mini-buffet or bento arrangements may be available for groups of 8 to 15. Clarify whether the menu is fully lacto-ovo vegetarian, vegan, or Jain-compliant, and whether dishes are prepared in a dedicated vegetarian kitchen without cross-contamination from meat produce. For mixed-faith guest lists, confirm whether any items carry MUIS halal certification on specific components. Ask about delivery and setup windows, equipment provision such as chafing dishes and warmers, whether a buffet attendant is included or available as an add-on, and the teardown arrangement after the event.
Reach Ling Zhi Vegetarian Catering by phone or via the enquiry form on their listing to confirm menu options, per-pax pricing, and availability for your event date.
Confirm the SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence (and MUIS halal certificate where required), book a tasting before paying the deposit, and put the per-pax rate, minimum headcount, dietary mix, delivery and setup window, and balance schedule in writing.
My friends and I had been coming here to have our vegetarian Loh Hei for the past four years. The food here is unique, fresh and delicious that it didn’t feel like it’s vegetarian at all. Plus what I loved best was that the restaurant gives out a small packet of rice to its dinners during the CNY period or until the gifts lasts. Their small gestures make us come back every year !!! My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves this time in the year of the fire horse, 2026. Hope it’s a good year for everyone !!!!!! 🙇🏻♀️🙇🏻♀️🙇🏻♀️
As a vegetarian, I did quite a bit of research before deciding to try Ling Zhi Vegetarian @ Liat Towers in Singapore. Being one of the pioneer vegetarian restaurants in Singapore and having received multiple awards, my expectations were naturally high. We ordered quite a number of dishes: Braised Pumpkin Soup with Wild Morel Mushroom, Homemade Beancurd topped with Fresh Mushroom, Sweet and Sour Button Mushroom with Lychee, Crispy Vegetarian Eel with ‘Kung Pao’ Sauce, Fried Pearl Rice with Vegetarian ‘Bak Kwa’, and Chilled Mango Cream with Pomelo and Sago for dessert. The main highlight for me was definitely the Sweet and Sour Button Mushroom with Lychee. It’s a unique dish that stands out from typical vegetarian offerings. You can actually taste the fragrance of the lychee while chewing, and the sauce complements the mushrooms beautifully. A very well-executed and memorable dish. The Fried Pearl Rice with Vegetarian ‘Bak Kwa’ had strong wok hei, which I thoroughly enjoyed, though I found it slightly on the oily side. The Braised Pumpkin Soup with Wild Morel Mushroom was rich in umami and comforting, but the portion felt a little small. As for the Homemade Beancurd, the texture was soft and delicate. The green component (possibly broccoli) paired with a pumpkin-based sauce and choy sum on the side made it light and not overly salty—very much to my liking. Another signature dish, the Crispy Vegetarian Eel with ‘Kung Pao’ Sauce, was indeed crispy with a unique flavour profile. It’s not something I’ve tried before, and I appreciated the creativity behind it. However, the Chilled Mango Cream with Pomelo and Sago was disappointing. At SGD 8, the portion and ingredients felt rather minimal. For that price point, I believe there are better dessert options elsewhere in Singapore. Service was great overall, especially from a waitress named Janet (if I recall correctly), who appeared to be in her 20s. She was friendly, polite, and attentive throughout the meal. One minor downside was that it felt slightly warm where we were seated, possibly because our table was near the washroom area. Overall, Ling Zhi delivers refined and creative vegetarian cuisine, but it is definitely not budget-friendly—in fact, it’s on the higher end. As a tourist from Malaysia, I couldn’t help but compare the total bill to what I could get back home for the same amount. This might very well be one of the most expensive vegetarian meals I’ve had. Perhaps it’s simply a matter of perspective—coming from a smaller market, I may still be adjusting to Singapore’s dining standards. That said, it was still an interesting culinary experience, especially for those who appreciate upscale vegetarian dining.
A nice premium vegetarian Chinese restaurant! Food was not bad, price is on the higher end. We dropped by for the CNY meal! Yusheng was good with all the unique ingredients and even vegetarian salmon made from konjac, which rly had the texture of salmon! Chicken dish was good and tasty, chicken was made of beancurd. Soup was okay, quite light tasting. Fried rice was good! Pumpkin soup was okay, but a little odd with mixture of curry. Dessert was slightly underwhelming and diluted, could use a lot more red dates or add some longan.
Very nice vegetarian restaurant. Great ambience for formal event. Came here to celebrate colleague's anniversary. Food quality is delicate and delicious! Ordered a set menu and every dish was delicious. Love vegetarian chicken, n mushroom Ee mian and dessert! Highly recommend
The food was the real highlight — fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Each dish was well balanced, not overly oily or salty, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. Even for non-vegetarians, the menu offers satisfying and hearty options that don’t feel like a compromise. Service was attentive and friendly, with staff happy to explain the dishes and make recommendations. The waiting time was reasonable, and everything was served nicely. Overall, this is a great spot for anyone looking for delicious vegetarian food, whether for health, lifestyle, or simply good taste. I would definitely return and recommend it to friends and family.

Vegetarian buffet catering in Singapore is typically priced in the S$15–25 per pax range for a standard spread, S$25–40 per pax for a premium selection, and S$18–30 per pax for mini-buffets suited to smaller groups of 8–15 guests. Bento-style delivery tends to sit at S$8–18 per pax. Contact Ling Zhi Vegetarian Catering directly for their current per-pax rates, as pricing varies by menu selection and headcount. Beyond the per-pax rate, confirm the minimum order headcount, delivery and setup fee for locations outside the central region, whether equipment such as chafing dishes and warmers is included or rented separately, buffet attendant costs (typically S$80–150 per attendant), waste collection, and whether GST and any service charge apply. As a specialist vegetarian caterer, Ling Zhi Vegetarian Catering is likely to offer lacto-ovo vegetarian options as standard, and may also accommodate vegan or Jain dietary requirements — confirm this directly when enquiring. For Hindu guests requiring no-beef dishes, a dedicated vegetarian kitchen is inherently compliant, though cross-contamination protocols should still be verified. For Muslim guests requiring certified halal food, ask whether Ling Zhi holds a MUIS halal certificate — a kitchen that is vegetarian is not automatically halal-certified, and 'no meat' does not satisfy halal requirements without certification. Confirm the certificate number and validity dates before booking for any event where guests require strict halal compliance. A menu tasting is worth requesting for larger orders before committing to the full booking.
Legitimate caterers in Singapore hold an SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence with a hygiene grade — A is the highest, followed by B, C, and D. KakiList does not currently have licence records on file for Ling Zhi Vegetarian Catering, so request a copy of their SFA licence and hygiene grade directly before confirming your booking. Their 4.6/5 rating across 1,577 Google reviews is a strong independent signal of consistent service quality. For food safety at the event itself, hot dishes should be served within a 2–3 hour cooked-to-served window, held above 60°C. Confirm the setup arrival time relative to your event start, the replenishment protocol for a longer buffet period, and how leftover food is handled at teardown. Confirm the SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence (and MUIS halal certificate where required), book a tasting before paying the deposit, and put the per-pax rate, minimum headcount, dietary mix, delivery and setup window, and balance schedule in writing.
