Lions Home for the Elders is an eldercare provider offering home nursing services across Singapore, based in Bedok South. The listing has been verified by KakiList, confirming operating details and contact channels. No regulatory licences are currently recorded against this listing, which is noted below.
When arranging home nursing care, the first step is a care assessment to establish the elder's mobility, medical conditions, and the level of clinical or personal support required — whether that is wound care, medication administration, post-hospitalisation nursing, or companionship and daily living assistance. Families should clarify how many hours per day or per week are needed, whether coverage is required on weekends and public holidays, and who the primary decision-makers are within the household. It is also worth discussing whether visit-based nursing is the right fit or whether a longer-term live-in arrangement may better serve the elder's needs as their condition evolves.
Contact Lions Home for the Elders by phone or via the enquiry form to arrange an initial care assessment and discuss availability for your required schedule.

My dad was a resident here at level 4 (high dependency) for a few years. I found most of the staff kind, compassionate, cheerful and supportive. I am very grateful to them for caring for him in his final years.
Clean, well-organized with a dedicated staff, which genuinely cares for its residents. This place has a positive feeling to it. The elders have the opportunity to socialize with each other in the well-ventilated hall, where they can play games or simply chat with each other. All the meals are cooked in house. This place is an excellent option if you want to leave your elderly relatives for a short term stay if you are traveling for work or for any other reason. They provided multiple short- and long-term care options, which really helps take the pressure off families. I would recommend their services.
Very well run nursing home manned by professional and compassionate staff. The building is purpose built as a nursing home hence is well ventilated throughout the wards. All laundry and cooking is done in house. I have taken my mom out on home leave on a few occasions and things are all organized to facilitate the home leave such as medication and diapers supplies. We hv our own wheelchair and the home loaned us a walking frame to enable my mom to walk at times.
seems to be a well run place. my aunt went in after a long hospital stay for a serious bacteria infection. she also has severe dementia. She looks distinctively healthier since she stayed there. there is a large social area for the aged to play games and talk to each other. It is an airy place but there is no aircon which is probably better given covid 19. the nurses are all cheerful looking and helpful.
Definitely feels like home when you step in to this place. The elderly are well taken care of. They are given lots of chance to socialize and do things of their interest.

Home nursing fees in Singapore are typically priced on an hourly or per-visit basis. Hourly rates for professional home nursing generally range from S$20 to S$60 or more depending on the level of clinical care required, with higher rates for registered nurses versus care aides or health attendants. Live-in arrangements are structured differently, usually as a monthly package. Additional costs to confirm with Lions Home for the Elders include any agency or administrative fee, public holiday and after-hours surcharges, and whether consumables such as wound-care materials are included. Lions Home for the Elders is listed under home nursing, which typically operates on a visit or scheduled-hours basis rather than a live-in model. Visit-based nursing can cover a wide scope — wound dressing, tube feeding, medication management, post-discharge monitoring, and personal care — within defined daily or weekly sessions. If your family's needs evolve toward round-the-clock support, it is worth discussing with the provider whether they can scale hours accordingly or refer you to a more appropriate care arrangement. Confirm the trial period norms and what happens if a nurse is unavailable on a given day, including whether a trained substitute is sent.
For home nursing services in Singapore, registered nurses should hold active registration with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB), which is publicly verifiable. Enrolled nurses and care aides operate under different scopes of practice — it is important to match the clinical complexity of your elder's needs to the correct qualification level. No regulatory licences are currently recorded against this listing, including AIC or MOH registration, which is a gap worth clarifying directly with Lions Home for the Elders before engaging their services. Also confirm whether the provider carries professional indemnity and public liability insurance covering caregiver injury or incidents occurring in the client's home.
