It is worth confirming the age range catered to, the daily routine, the adult-to-child ratio, and the length of any settling-in period. Parents of Singapore citizen children should also ask whether the centre is able to facilitate ECDA subsidies, and should request a visit to the centre before committing, so that they can meet the teachers and see the environment in person.

Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

Little Paddington Preschool provides early childhood education and has facilities designed to support learning and development in young children.
LP team is very patient, professional and caring. School set up includes both outdoors fun, indoors creativity, that are crucial to me for a kid’s childhood school. My gal looks forward to school daily mostly ☺️ Just one trivial perhaps, to do more fogging to reduce mozzies around that vicinity. Mozzies get attracted to my gal readily easily..
Amazing pre-school. Had a fantastic run at Little Paddington with both of my daughters. It truly is an 'Outstanding School': the staff are fantastic. Everyone is so approachable and understanding, and nothing is too much for them.
My children are enjoying the pre-school very much. Good facilities and understanding teachers. Lots of open space and outdoor spaces for children to play and run about. The learning is also very structured and focused on children’s abilities. The principal Ms Shashi is awesome. Keep up the great work.

Little Paddington's fees are indicated at a mid-range level on a monthly recurring basis. When enquiring, ask for the full breakdown in writing, including any one-off registration fee (commonly S$100–S$200 at playgroup providers), a refundable deposit (typically equivalent to one to two months' fees), and any charges for uniforms or group insurance coverage. Childcare and playgroup fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the monthly figure quoted should reflect the total amount payable. Confirm whether meals or snacks, curriculum materials, and any outings are included or billed separately. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Government subsidies for childcare and playgroup in Singapore are available to Singapore citizen children enrolled at ECDA-licensed centres. The Basic Subsidy provides up to S$300 per month for childcare, and the Working Mother's Child Development Subsidy (WMCDS) offers additional support for working mothers clocking 56 or more hours per month. An Additional Subsidy is available on an income-tested basis, with combined support potentially reaching up to S$710 per month. Permanent resident children may qualify for partial subsidies at lower quantum. Note that Little Paddington does not currently list an ECDA licence in its public profile — you should confirm directly with the centre whether it is ECDA-licensed before assuming subsidy eligibility. Subsidy figures and eligibility criteria are updated periodically. Always verify current quantum directly with ECDA at ecda.gov.sg before making financial plans.
Demand for playgroup and childcare places in Singapore, particularly at smaller or boutique providers, can be brisk. It is generally advisable to enquire at least three to six months ahead of your intended start date, as popular centres fill their cohorts well in advance. The January intake is typically the busiest, as it aligns with the start of the school calendar year. To secure a place, most centres require payment of a registration fee and, in some cases, a deposit. Contact Little Paddington directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current availability for your child's age group and preferred start month.
