About MathAcademia
MathAcademia is a tuition centre operating islandwide from its premises at 52 Chin Swee Road, Singapore. It holds a 4.9-star rating across 625 Google reviews — a robust sample that reflects consistent feedback from families — and has been verified by KakiList, meaning a real person has confirmed its operating details and contact channels. Pricing is positioned in the mid-range ($$) for the tuition sector.
Families typically begin by enquiring about level and syllabus fit — whether the student is following the MOE mainstream curriculum, PSLE, O-Level, A-Level, IP, or another track — before confirming whether group or one-to-one tuition is the right format. Most centres offer a trial class so students and parents can assess teaching style and pace before committing to a term. It is worth clarifying the term commitment structure, any materials fees, and whether sessions are conducted at the Chin Swee Road location or are available online.
To get started, reach out to MathAcademia via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form on their listing to ask about current availability for your child's level and to arrange a trial class.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Before joining A1 Math Academy, I used to struggle with understanding key math concepts and often felt lost during lessons in school. But after just a few months here, my confidence and results improved drastically. The lessons are extremely clear, structured, and focused on building strong fundamentals. The tutors don’t just teach formulas — they explain why they work, so I actually understand the logic behind every topic. Each session is filled with well-chosen examples and practice questions that match the O-Level standard perfectly. What really stood out to me is how personalized the teaching is. The tutors genuinely care about every student’s progress. They patiently go through my mistakes, point out patterns in my errors, and guide me on how to improve. Whenever I had doubts, they were always approachable and encouraging. Over time, I started seeing real improvement in my grades — from borderline passes to consistent A-range scores. More importantly, I began to enjoy solving math problems instead of dreading them. A1 Math Academy didn’t just help me score better; it taught me how to think logically, stay disciplined, and approach challenges with confidence. I’m really grateful for how much I’ve grown since joining — it’s easily one of the best decisions I’ve made for my academic journey.

because i joined late, i didnt get to experience his full teaching. however, he went through the topics in depth and allowed me to understand. when it was a few weeks before my exam, he gave us test papers to do in class. whenever we didnt know how to do a question, he would immediately teach us. this really helped me improve my results greatly.

MathAcademia displays mid-range ($$) pricing, though a specific per-session or monthly rate has not been published on this listing. In the Singapore tuition market, group sessions typically range from S$30–80 per session depending on level and class size, while one-to-one tuition can run S$60–150 or more per session for secondary and junior college levels. Some centres charge a one-time registration or materials fee in addition to the session or monthly package rate. Sibling discounts and bundled term packages are common, so it is worth asking about these when you enquire. A trial class may be priced separately or counted as the first session of your term. Many tuition centres, including those in the mid-range pricing band, offer a trial class to allow students and parents to assess whether the teaching style, pace, and class level are a good fit before signing up for a full term. During a trial class, observe whether the tutor checks the student's existing knowledge, whether the class size allows for meaningful interaction, and whether the student leaves feeling stretched but not overwhelmed. It is also a good opportunity to ask about syllabus alignment — confirming the centre follows the current MOE syllabus or the specific exam board your child is studying. Contact MathAcademia directly via WhatsApp or phone to ask about trial class availability and whether a fee applies.
Tutor credentials have not been published on this listing. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask whether tutors hold a degree in mathematics or a related field, whether any have an NIE qualification or prior MOE teaching experience, and how many years they have been teaching the relevant syllabus. For students sitting PSLE, O-Level, or A-Level examinations, confirming that the tutor is current with the latest MOE syllabus and marking schemes is particularly important, as these are revised periodically. If your child is on an IP, IB, or IGCSE track, ask specifically whether the tutor has experience with that curriculum. Contact MathAcademia directly to request details on the assigned tutor before committing to a term. Take the trial class and confirm credentials before signing up.
