About Mings Catering

About Mings Catering

Mings Catering is an islandwide event catering provider based at Ubi Avenue 2, Singapore. The listing has been verified by KakiList, and the service carries a 4.7/5 rating across 46 Google reviews — a moderate sample that lends reasonable confidence to the score. Pricing is positioned in the mid-range ($$) on a per-pax basis, though exact figures should be confirmed directly as no regulatory licences are currently listed on this profile.

When planning your event, begin by confirming the pax count and minimum headcount requirement — standard buffets typically require 30 or more guests, while mini-buffets for smaller gatherings often start from 8 to 15 pax. Discuss your event format (buffet, mini-buffet, bento delivery, or live station), your dietary mix (halal, vegetarian, no-pork-no-lard, no-beef, or gluten-free requirements), and whether chafing dishes, warmers, and serving equipment are included or billed separately. Ask whether a buffet attendant is available on-site and confirm the delivery and setup window, teardown timing, and the food-safety hold time for hot dishes. A menu tasting before committing to a deposit is strongly advisable.

Reach out to Mings Catering via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form with your event date, venue, headcount, and dietary requirements to receive a itemised quotation and confirm slot availability.

We had a family gathering and ordered the Begonia menu from Kings Catering. Masya Allah, the Mutton Dum Briyani set was a true highlight—fluffy rice, tender mutton that fell apart effortlessly, and spices that lingered just right. Delivery was punctual, and the staff was efficient! It felt like comfort on a plate. Everyone had seconds, and the compliments kept coming 👍 And yes, for those who prefer a gentler heat, Kings Catering, thoughtfully offers a milder version too—so everyone can enjoy without worry! Thank you for the good food.

The food was absolutely delicious, and we really enjoyed every bit of it! Thank you for making our time with friends so memorable. We truly appreciate Mr. Vignesh for his patience, warm service, and commitment throughout the dining experience and arrangements. Wishing him good luck and continued success — highly recommended!

Engaged Shiek and Syed Harun for our wedding event recently; and food finished swiftly as expected of their quality and standards! Even our non-Indian guests were going back for seconds as opposed to the other food options provided. They have also showed dedication to their service standards, especially when we had engaged another major food provider to provide a mix of different cuisines. We are happy that the team were spontaneous with the collaboration, with affirmation given to us from the planning stages. Probably the best briyani in Singapore currently

A huge fan of King’s catering. Decided to dine in here with my partner to try out their lunch set & also recce the space. The food was fantastic as usual and the waiter Pravin Kumar was very attentive and courteous.

I bought nool prata with fish curry and saffron tea. The nool prata was very soft and flaky and the fish curry tasted soooo good. Seriously recommended. The saffron tea smelled and tasted amazing 🤩 highly recommended 🙌🏼🙌🏼🫶🏽

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Mings Catering charge per pax?

Mings Catering prices on a per-pax basis, consistent with Singapore catering market norms: standard buffets typically run S$15–25/pax with a minimum of around 30 pax, premium buffets S$25–40/pax, mini-buffets for smaller groups S$18–30/pax (minimum 8–15 pax), and bento delivery S$8–18/pax. Live-station setups are priced higher at S$30–60/pax. Contact Mings Catering directly for their current menu tiers and minimum order thresholds. Ask what is bundled into the per-pax rate — chafing dishes and warmers are sometimes included, sometimes billed separately. Delivery and setup fees may apply for non-central addresses, and a buffet attendant on-site typically adds S$80–150 per person. GST applies where applicable. Confirm all items in writing before paying any deposit. See the full catering cost guide for Singapore →

What dietary options and halal certification does Mings Catering offer?

Before booking, confirm whether Mings Catering holds a MUIS halal certificate — a valid MUIS certificate with a licence number and validity dates is the only recognised standard for guests who require certified halal food. 'No pork no lard' without MUIS certification is not the same as certified halal and will not meet the requirement for observant Muslim guests. No licences are currently listed on this KakiList profile, so ask Mings Catering directly and request to see the certificate. Also confirm vegetarian options (lacto-ovo vs vegan), no-beef dishes for Hindu guests, and any gluten-free or nut-free requirements. For events with a mixed dietary profile, ask about cross-contamination protocols between halal and non-halal preparation. Most caterers offer a menu tasting session for orders above a minimum value — this is worth arranging before committing.

Is Mings Catering licensed and how is food safety handled?

Legitimate caterers hold an SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence with a hygiene grade — A is highest, then B, C, D. No licences are currently listed on the Mings Catering KakiList profile, so verify their SFA licence status directly before booking, particularly for events above 20 pax where food-safety accountability matters. Cooked food for buffets should be served within a 2–3 hour cooked-to-served window, with hot dishes held above 60°C and cold dishes below 5°C per SFA guidelines. Confirm the setup arrival time, whether warmers are provided and staffed, and the policy for safe handling of any leftovers. Confirm the SFA licence number and hygiene grade, and the MUIS certificate if halal is required, in writing before signing. Confirm the SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence (and MUIS halal certificate where required), book a tasting before paying the deposit, and put the per-pax rate, minimum headcount, dietary mix, delivery and setup window, and balance schedule in writing.
