About Neo Medical Centre

About Neo Medical Centre

Neo Medical Centre is a paediatric clinic located at 120 Potong Pasir Ave 1, serving families across Singapore. KakiList has verified the operating details and contact channel. The clinic holds a 4.1/5 rating across 19 Google reviews — a small sample that should be treated as directional only. No regulatory licences are listed in the provider data, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed; parents are advised to verify these directly before booking.

For a first visit, parents typically present the child's health booklet, which includes the National Childhood Immunisation Programme (NIP) schedule and developmental milestone records. The consulting doctor will take a history, examine the child, and advise on any investigations needed — blood work, urine culture, or chest X-ray depending on the presenting condition. Follow-up scheduling, prescription, and referral to a specialist or public hospital outpatient clinic where necessary would be arranged at the same visit. Parents using an Integrated Shield Plan (IP) layered on MediShield Life should check whether the plan covers GP-level paediatric consultations or whether a specialist accreditation is required for claims. MediSave can be drawn under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for listed conditions, and under the standard S$500 outpatient withdrawal limit for qualifying visits.

To make an appointment, contact Neo Medical Centre directly by phone. Bring the child's health booklet and any relevant medical history, and confirm the consultation fee, insurance acceptance, and available slots before the visit.

0 stars cause your hotline is busted. I gave 1 star so i can post this damm review. I am so thankful for one of the reviewers for mentioning this. This is utterly humiliating. I felt like I wasted my money just paying for this service. Better adjust the hotline. Youre a clinic, but no functioning hotline. If someone needs an urgent appointment and are nearby but your hotline doesnt work, that shows that you did not update this number. I am going to share this around with my relatives cause its nonsense.

Dr Neo and staff are friendly and always make me feel special and important. He is our family doctor. I did not see them for the whole last year. I was in good health. I saw him last Tuesday, I appreciate their gestures. I was at my lowest self, they made me feel special and attend to my needs with compassion. Kudos to you, doctor and your team!!! Take care and may you be blessed with good health, happiness and fortune.

It is the only doctor and medical clinic in Singapore that lists a telephone number without answering. In a medical emergency, it is just frustrating to be calling them 100 times to no answer or engaged despite during their open hours. Can Dr Neo stand up to serve the community responsibly?

Convenient doctor to visit if you are near by or need to see a doctor urgently. I found the charges to be excessively high, even with the maximum CHAS subsidy.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Neo Medical Centre charge?

No fee information has been published for Neo Medical Centre, so parents should call ahead to confirm current consultation rates before visiting. As a general reference, GP-level paediatric consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60, while private specialist paediatricians charge S$120–250 for a first consult and S$80–180 for follow-ups. Public hospital Specialist Outpatient Clinics (SOC) cost S$30–80 for Singapore Citizens with a polyclinic or GP referral letter, though non-urgent waits are typically 4–12 weeks. Investigations are billed on top of the consultation — blood panels run S$60–200, urine cultures S$30–80, and chest X-rays S$80–150. GST applies on private medical services. For any planned procedure, request a written financial counselling estimate that separates insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding. Is Neo Medical Centre MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No regulatory licences are listed in the current provider data for Neo Medical Centre, and this is a material gap. Every legitimate clinic is required to hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory online. Every practising doctor must appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg; search by name to confirm registration status, specialist accreditation (for example, Paediatric Medicine), and any disciplinary history. Parents should check both the clinic licence and the named doctor's SMC entry before booking. Neither alone is sufficient. If the clinic is operating as a GP clinic rather than a specialist clinic, the consulting doctor may be a general practitioner with paediatric interest rather than an accredited paediatric specialist — it is worth confirming this distinction, as it affects referral pathways and insurance claims. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Neo Medical Centre?

Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life can cover private specialist consultations and day surgery subject to the plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. For GP-level paediatric visits, most IP plans do not cover outpatient GP consultations unless a rider with outpatient benefits is included — confirm with your insurer before assuming coverage. Pre-authorisation or a Letter of Guarantee from the IP insurer is advisable before any planned procedure to avoid claim disputes. MediSave can be used under the standard S$500 outpatient withdrawal limit for qualifying conditions, and up to S$700 annually under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers conditions including asthma, diabetes, and selected chronic diseases in children. Vaccinations under the National Childhood Immunisation Programme (NIP) may be partially covered via MediSave for eligible Medisave-approved vaccines. For any planned procedure or investigation, request a financial counselling session at the clinic — an itemised pre-treatment estimate splitting insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket cost should be provided in writing before you commit.
