About Orange Clove Catering
Orange Clove Catering is an islandwide event caterer based in Kaki Bukit, Singapore, operating on a per-pax pricing model. KakiList has verified their operating details and contact channel. They hold a 4.7/5 rating across 713 Google reviews — a robust sample that provides a reliable signal of consistent service quality.
When enquiring, start by confirming your pax count and event format — Orange Clove Catering's per-pax model suits buffets, mini-buffets, live stations, and bento delivery, each with different minimum headcount thresholds (typically 30–50 pax for a full buffet, 8–15 pax for mini-buffets). Share your dietary mix upfront: halal, vegetarian, no-pork-no-lard, no-beef, and gluten-free requirements all affect menu planning and certification requirements. Ask whether a menu tasting is available before you pay a deposit, confirm whether chafing dishes, warmers, and serving equipment are included or billed separately, and clarify whether a buffet attendant will be on-site and what the teardown timing looks like. Cooked-to-served food safety is a practical concern — hot dishes should be held above 60°C and served within a 2–3 hour window.
To get started, reach out via phone or the enquiry form with your event date, venue, estimated headcount, event format, and dietary requirements, and ask for an itemised quotation that separates per-pax cost, delivery and setup fees, equipment, and any attendant charges.
Confirm the SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence (and MUIS halal certificate where required), book a tasting before paying the deposit, and put the per-pax rate, minimum headcount, dietary mix, delivery and setup window, and balance schedule in writing.
Year-End Lunch 2025 (Rustic Thematic Set-Up) The setup was absolutely stunning and incredibly detailed. Their team spent a full hour ensuring every decoration was perfect, sparkling, and shining. The food presentation was nothing short of a grand performance—they went beyond the traditional warmers and centerpieces, truly elevating the catering standard. This was a buffet prepared for 100 guests, and the dishes were delicious and very well-prepared. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed them. Special praise goes to Rainier Ker for her outstanding customer service. She was friendly, cheerful, highly responsive, and consistently checked in to make sure everything ran smoothly. Working with her was an absolute pleasure—thank you, Rainier! Overall: A fantastic catering experience. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful experience at Orange Clove Buffet! The buffet spread was impressive, with a great variety of dishes to choose from. Everything was fresh and flavorful. A special mention to miss Rainier, who was extremely helpful and attentive throughout our visit. Her excellent service truly made our dining experience even more enjoyable. And the curry chicken is an absolute must-try — it was rich, aromatic, and perfectly cooked! I’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended!
A well-managed catering experience from start to finish. The food was good and the table setup was neat and well organised. Orange Clove Catering prices on a per-pax basis, which is standard for buffet and event catering. Across the Singapore market, standard buffets run S$15–25/pax (minimum ~30 pax), premium buffets S$25–40/pax, mini-buffets for smaller groups S$18–30/pax (minimum 8–15 pax), bento delivery S$8–18/pax, and live-station setups S$30–60/pax. Contact Orange Clove Catering directly for their current rate card as pricing varies by menu tier and event type. Beyond the per-pax rate, confirm what is included versus billed on top: delivery and setup fees for non-central addresses, equipment rental (chafing dishes and warmers are sometimes included, sometimes not), buffet attendant on-site (typically S$80–150 per attendant), waste collection, and GST. For larger or more complex events, ask whether a minimum spend applies. See the full catering cost guide for Singapore →
Before booking, confirm whether Orange Clove Catering holds a MUIS halal certificate — this is distinct from "halal-friendly" or "no pork no lard" and is required for guests who observe strict halal. A valid MUIS certificate displays the licence number and expiry date and should be available on the company's website or on request. Also ask about vegetarian (lacto-ovo vs vegan), no-beef (for Hindu guests), gluten-free, and nut-free options. For events with a mixed dietary guest list, confirm cross-contamination protocols — separate serving utensils, preparation areas, and labelling matter. Ask whether menu tasting is available before you pay a deposit; most caterers offer this for orders above a minimum value, and tasting is the clearest way to assess portion size, flavour, and presentation quality before committing.
Legitimate caterers hold an SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence with a hygiene grade — A is highest, then B, C, D. Halal-certified caterers additionally hold a MUIS certificate. Ask Orange Clove Catering to confirm their current SFA licence and hygiene grade, and request their MUIS certificate if your event requires halal catering — both should be readily available. For food safety, hot dishes should be served within a 2–3 hour cooked-to-served window, held above 60°C. Confirm the setup arrival time, buffet replenishment protocol, and the policy on leftover handling. Put the per-pax rate, minimum headcount, dietary requirements, delivery and setup window, equipment inclusions, and balance payment schedule in writing before signing off. Confirm the SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence (and MUIS halal certificate where required), book a tasting before paying the deposit, and put the per-pax rate, minimum headcount, dietary mix, delivery and setup window, and balance schedule in writing.
