About Paediatric & Neurology Clinic
Paediatric & Neurology Clinic is a specialist paediatric practice based at Mount Alvernia Hospital's St Anne Mother & Child Centre on Thomson Road, serving patients across Singapore. The clinic holds a 5/5 rating across 29 Google reviews, a moderate sample that provides reasonable directional confidence. No regulatory licences or ACRA registration have been confirmed in the listing data at this time, so prospective patients should verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration independently before booking.
Patients typically access a private specialist paediatric clinic either by walking in directly — with a first consultation fee typically in the range of S$120–250 — or via a polyclinic or GP referral letter, which can reduce fees under the subsidised outpatient pathway at public hospitals, though that route involves a longer wait. At a private paediatric clinic within a hospital such as Mount Alvernia, the consultation covers developmental assessment, the National Childhood Immunisation Programme (NIP) schedule, acute illness management, and — given the neurology dimension signalled in the clinic's name — conditions such as epilepsy, developmental delay, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, headaches, and movement disorders. Parents should bring the child's health booklet, vaccination records, and any prior specialist letters. Investigations such as blood panels, EEG, MRI, or neurodevelopmental assessments may be arranged on-site or referred, and costs should be discussed with the clinic before proceeding.
To make an appointment, contact Paediatric & Neurology Clinic directly by phone or through the enquiry form listed on this page, and ask for a written financial counselling estimate — including investigation fees and your Integrated Shield Plan pre-authorisation requirements — before any planned procedure or diagnostic workup.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Dr. Yeo took exceptional care of my son Maximilian during his hospital stay for a severe migraine attack. From the very beginning, his calm, kind, and compassionate manner reassured us during an incredibly stressful time. He explained everything clearly and made sure we felt supported throughout. Beyond his medical care, Dr. Yeo went above and beyond by helping us navigate insurance difficulties, which we truly appreciated. A very special thank you to Abigail, who did so much for us during this time including our insurance problems. Her attentiveness, warmth, and dedication truly stood out, and we greatly appreciated her support . We are also grateful to the entire team for their professionalism and genuine care. We , especially my son Max felt in safe and capable hands at all times. We are deeply thankful and would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Yeo and his team.
We are very grateful to Dr Yeo Tong Hong at the Paediatrics & Neuroscience Centre. He patiently listened to our concerns and, most importantly, made my daughter feel safe and at ease throughout the consultation. He was very thorough with the tests and took the time to help me understand clearly what was going on, which gave us a lot of reassurance. A special thank you as well to Febi — she’s such a darling. She remembered my daughter and made her feel like she truly mattered. That personal touch meant a lot to us. Highly recommended.
Only positive things to say about Dr Yeo and his wonderful team, Abigail and Feby. They are incredibly accommodating and always do their best to slot us in for appointments, even at the very last minute, sometimes going beyond their opening hours. Dr Yeo is knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely caring, always taking the time to explain things clearly and ensure we feel comfortable and well taken care of. We are very grateful for the excellent care they provide.
We have been seeing Dr Yeo since May 2024. Overall very positive experience and the team. Dr Yeo is attentive, caring and made us feel at ease during our visit. Truly appreciate the clear explanation and his professionalism. Highly recommended.
Dr Yeo has been treating my son for the past 4 years for severe Tourette Syndrome. I had previously consulted with 4 other doctors (neurologists and psychiatrists) and had exhausted all medical drugs available to them before I found Dr Yeo. Dr Yeo through his expert medical knowledge and guidance, was able to bring my son from being bedridden and in constant pain to now a healthy, happy functioning teenager. Dr Yeo balances experience and expertise with genuine warmth, kindness, gentleness, empathy and approachability. I cannot thank and recommend Dr Yeo enough for helping my son and me.

Private specialist paediatric consultations in Singapore typically run S$120–250 for a first visit and S$80–180 for follow-ups. At a hospital-based practice such as Mount Alvernia, patients without a polyclinic or GP referral pay the full private rate out of pocket or via an Integrated Shield Plan (IP). Investigations billed separately can include blood panels (S$60–200), EEG (S$200–500), MRI brain (S$800–1,800), and developmental assessments. GST applies on private medical services. For any planned procedure or extended diagnostic workup, request a written financial counselling estimate from the clinic that clearly splits the Integrated Shield Plan payout, MediSave deduction (up to S$500–700/year under the MediSave 500/700 outpatient limits or relevant CDMP conditions), and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding. No MOH Healthcare Services Licence or Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration has been confirmed in this listing. Before booking, verify the clinic's MOH licence on the MOH licensee directory (moh.gov.sg/healthcare-institutions), which lists every legitimate clinic operating under the Healthcare Services Act. Separately, confirm the consulting doctor's name on the SMC public register at smc.gov.sg — this shows their registration status, specialist accreditation (in this case, Paediatric Medicine and/or Neurology), and any disciplinary history. For a paediatric neurology specialist, a fellowship with the Academy of Medicine Singapore (FAMS) or a Royal College credential (FRCPCH) is the meaningful additional qualifier beyond basic SMC registration. Neither the clinic licence nor the doctor's SMC entry alone is sufficient — confirm both before your child's first appointment. Listing data is incomplete — contact Paediatric & Neurology Clinic directly to confirm details.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life can cover private specialist consultations, day procedures, and inpatient stays at Mount Alvernia Hospital, subject to your plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider terms. Contact your IP insurer before any planned procedure to request pre-authorisation and, where applicable, a Letter of Guarantee — skipping this step is the most common reason families receive a larger bill than expected. MediSave can be withdrawn for selected outpatient items under the MediSave 500/700 limits (S$500/year general outpatient; S$700/year for conditions listed under the Chronic Disease Management Programme, which includes epilepsy and selected neurodevelopmental conditions). For any investigation or treatment plan beyond a routine consultation, ask the clinic for a written financial counselling session that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before you commit.
