About Parkway MediCentre IBCA Clinic
Parkway MediCentre IBCA Clinic is a paediatric clinic located at The Woodleigh Mall in Bidadari, serving families across Singapore. It holds a 4.2/5 rating across 180 Google reviews, a robust sample that provides a reasonable indication of patient experience. No regulatory licences are listed in the available data, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed, so parents are advised to verify credentials directly with the clinic before booking.
For a first visit, parents typically contact the clinic by phone or via the enquiry form to confirm the presenting concern, whether it is a routine child health check, vaccination under the National Childhood Immunisation Programme (NIP), developmental milestone review, or an acute illness such as fever, respiratory infection, or skin condition. The paediatrician will conduct a consultation, advise on any investigations required — such as a blood panel or urine culture — and issue a prescription or referral where appropriate. Parents using an Integrated Shield Plan layered on MediShield Life should confirm pre-authorisation requirements with their insurer for any planned procedures. MediSave 500 outpatient withdrawal limits and the Chronic Disease Management Programme apply to selected ongoing childhood conditions; the clinic's front desk can advise on what is claimable at the point of billing.
Call the clinic directly or submit the enquiry form to confirm appointment availability, the consulting paediatrician's name, and whether your Integrated Shield Plan is accepted before attending.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
The service is excellent at the paediatrician specialist - parkway medicentre woodleigh. All the nurses were very helpful and friendly. The waiting time was quite fast too even if there is a lot of patients. I would highly recommend this paediatric specialist.
We have been visiting this clinic since my eldest child was born, and the experience has always been excellent. The team is very responsive when it comes to scheduling appointments, and the staff are incredibly friendly and understanding towards parents who are naturally worried about their children. The clinic is also very efficient — medications are dispensed quickly so your child does not have to stay in the clinic longer than necessary. The doctors are wonderful as well. They take the time to explain everything clearly and make sure you fully understand the diagnosis and treatment before the consultation ends. Overall, we are very happy with the clinic, the doctors, nurses, and all the staff. Highly recommended!
Dr. Vella is an exceptional pediatric specialist. As parents, it can be very worrying when your child is unwell, but Dr. Vella was incredibly reassuring and thorough during the consultation. They listened carefully to our concerns, answered all our questions patiently, and made sure we fully understood the diagnosis and treatment plan. Most importantly, they were very gentle and kind with our child, which made a big difference. In addition, I would like to also praise the excellent service from the nurses. They are extremely helpful and friendly. We are very grateful for the care we received and would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Vella to other families.
Had a great experience at the clinic. The staff were friendly to us. Special mention to Serene Koh, she was very patience and experienced, sharing advices at time of emergency.
PDs are attentive, warm, empathetic and efficient with their assessment of my child’s condition. Staff are the sweetest & most helpful 💕 Thivya, in particular, is always ready to provide support. I really love how we are taken care of every time I’m there, although a parent never wants to have to bring their child to a clinic. The clinic is so new, bright and clean too! Even if we ever have to wait in the queue, it’s a pleasant experience.

Paediatric first consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$120–250, with follow-up visits at S$80–180. Investigations are billed separately: a basic blood panel S$60–200, urine tests S$30–80, X-ray S$80–150. Vaccinations under the National Childhood Immunisation Programme may be partially subsidised for Singapore Citizens at enrolled clinics; optional vaccines such as influenza and varicella are self-pay at S$30–80 per dose. GST applies on private medical services. Every legitimate private clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory. No licence information is currently listed for Parkway MediCentre IBCA Clinic in the available data, so parents should ask the clinic directly for its MOH licence number and verify it on the MOH online register before booking. Every practising doctor is listed on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg. Search by the consulting paediatrician's name to confirm SMC registration, specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine, and the absence of disciplinary history. For any subspecialty concern — such as paediatric cardiology, neurology, or endocrinology — a fellowship credential (FAMS or equivalent Royal College) is the meaningful additional signal beyond basic SMC registration. Verify both the clinic's MOH licence and the named doctor's SMC entry before booking.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life cover most private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays subject to the plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. Confirm pre-authorisation with your insurer and request a Letter of Guarantee before any planned procedure to avoid post-treatment claim disputes. For outpatient visits, MediSave can be used under the S$500/year general outpatient withdrawal limit or the S$700/year Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) limit, which covers selected childhood chronic conditions including asthma. The clinic's front desk can advise on whether a specific condition qualifies. Vaccinations under the national schedule may attract partial MediSave claims at enrolled clinic sites. For any planned procedure, request a financial counselling session — the clinic should provide an itemised pre-treatment estimate splitting insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket amounts in writing before you proceed.
