About Petite Practice Dr Mohana

About Petite Practice Dr Mohana

Petite Practice Dr Mohana is a paediatric clinic located at 467C Joo Chiat Road, Singapore. KakiList has verified the operating details and contact channels for this provider. For families seeking paediatric care, the typical pathway is a direct walk-in or appointment for a first consultation. At a private paediatric clinic, parents can expect the doctor to assess the child's presenting condition, developmental milestones, and vaccination status against the National Childhood Immunisation Programme schedule. Investigations such as blood panels, urine tests, or imaging may be ordered depending on the clinical picture, with a treatment plan and follow-up review arranged accordingly. For ongoing or complex conditions, the doctor may coordinate with a specialist at a restructured hospital or arrange a referral letter. Families using Integrated Shield Plans layered on MediShield Life should confirm pre-authorisation requirements with their insurer before any planned procedure or day admission.

To make an appointment or enquire about consultation availability, contact Petite Practice Dr Mohana by phone or via the enquiry form listed on this page.

My son has been coughing on and off since he started school. We’ve had countless GP visits, and we were often told it was normal and that he would eventually outgrow it. Dr. Mohana was the only one who gave us a treatment plan and took the time to explain everything in detail. She is kind and patient, and her staff are genuinely nice.

Repeat patient here. So happy for Dr Mohana to have moved to a new place just right opposite Katong i12. The whole clinic is clean and inviting. Dr Mohana herself is genuinely respectful to children. She is so gentle and patient with everyone she meets, and most importantly she listens carefully to concerns raised and is thoughtful about the drugs she administers. I don't live nearby but I'm happy to drive down to the east just to see her when the kids fall ill. Also very happy with the appointment system. It's easy to book a slot and see when the available timings are. Nurses are helpful. Special thanks to Usha for her gentle guidance on how to use an aerochamber. And the male nurse for being patient with my son ❤️

The consultation itself was fine, but I was concerned by repeated statements that the influenza vaccine is “compulsory” for young children in Singapore, which is not accurate. Clear distinction between medical recommendations and legal requirements is important for informed parental decisions. In response to the comment: There was no misunderstanding. It was explicitly stated on three occasions that it was “compulsory.” As such, misinformation was provided, which is a serious concern.

We’ve had several visits to Petite Practice, and each one has been a great experience. Dr. Mohana is a wonderful pediatrician: she listens carefully, explains everything clearly, and is always patient and reassuring. The nurses are consistently warm, friendly, and make us feel genuinely cared for every time. We truly appreciate the care and attention our family receives here 😊

Dr Mohana is a doctor whom I trust my children with, when we have complicated medical issues. She takes her time to investigate carefully. She asks not just about symptoms but also history and habits, and she gives detailed and assuring explainations. This is in stark contrast to many other quick and sterile doctor visits that we’ve had elsewhere. Attached is a photo of my daughter having her blood drawn. What we thought would be a terrifying experience for a 7 year old, turned out to be very pleasant. The nurse was very experienced and very gentle. They had everything from numbing cream to toys. Zero tears from my child throughout the procedure. Appointments are necessary. If you’re anxious about your children’s ailments that you haven’t been getting answers to, this is the place to go!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Petite Practice Dr Mohana charge?

Private paediatric consultation fees in Singapore typically run S$120–250 for a first visit and S$80–180 for follow-ups, though the actual figure depends on the complexity of the assessment. Investigations billed on top may include a blood panel (S$60–200), urine or swab tests, and X-rays (S$80–150) where clinically indicated. Prescriptions are usually dispensed on-site and added to the bill. GST applies on private medical services. For planned procedures or day admissions, request a written financial counselling estimate that splits insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding. MediSave can be used for selected outpatient items under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for listed conditions, with a S$500–700 annual withdrawal limit. Vaccination visits also attract separate charges per dose beyond the consultation fee. See the full paediatric cost guide for Singapore →

Is Petite Practice Dr Mohana MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

Every legitimate clinic is required to hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act, verifiable on the MOH licensee directory. Every practising doctor must also be listed on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg — you can search by name to confirm registration status, specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine, and any disciplinary history. No regulatory licences are currently listed in this provider's KakiList profile. Before booking, particularly for ongoing paediatric care, it is advisable to verify both the clinic's MOH licence and the named doctor's SMC entry independently. ACRA registration is also absent from the current listing. These gaps do not necessarily indicate a problem, but they mean you should confirm the details directly with the clinic before proceeding. Listing data is incomplete — contact Petite Practice Dr Mohana directly to confirm details.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Petite Practice Dr Mohana?

Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life cover most private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays, subject to the plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. For planned admissions or procedures, obtain a Letter of Guarantee from your insurer before the event to avoid disputes after the fact. Confirm with the clinic which IPs it accepts directly. MediSave can be drawn on for outpatient paediatric care under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for eligible listed conditions, with a S$500/year general outpatient limit or S$700/year under CDMP. Routine GP-equivalent visits and standard vaccinations generally fall outside MediSave outpatient withdrawal unless the condition qualifies under CDMP. For any planned procedure, request a written financial counselling session — the clinic should provide an itemised pre-treatment estimate showing insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions in writing before you commit.
