About PW Clinic Dr P Wong

About PW Clinic Dr P Wong

PW Clinic Dr P Wong is a paediatric clinic located at Gleneagles Hospital Annexe Block on Napier Road, serving families across Singapore. The clinic holds a 4.6 out of 5 rating across 25 Google reviews — a moderate sample that is broadly encouraging, though prospective patients should weigh it accordingly. No regulatory licences are listed in the current directory data, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed; parents are advised to verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's Singapore Medical Council registration before booking.

Families typically begin by contacting the clinic via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to confirm appointment availability and whether a referral letter from a polyclinic or GP is needed. A private specialist first consultation at a Gleneagles-based clinic typically runs S$120–250; follow-up visits are generally lower. The paediatrician will assess presenting concerns — developmental milestones, the National Childhood Immunisation Programme schedule, acute illness, or chronic conditions — and advise on investigations such as blood panels or imaging where clinically indicated. Families using an Integrated Shield Plan should confirm pre-authorisation requirements with their insurer before the appointment, and MediSave 500 or CDMP withdrawal eligibility should be checked for outpatient chronic disease management.

To make a first appointment, contact PW Clinic Dr P Wong directly via WhatsApp or phone to confirm current availability, the doctor's consultation schedule, and the documentation to bring — including your child's health booklet and immunisation records.

This is easily one of the best pediatric clinics in Singapore. We have been visiting Dr. Petrina Wong since our younger daughter was born, and at 2 years old now, we continue to feel incredibly comfortable and well-cared for here. We recently had a high-stress situation when my daughter’s fever spiked to 40.1°C. The front-of-house staff were incredibly observant; they noticed her condition immediately and sought Dr. Wong’s advice to administer fever medication and tests right away. Their professional and kind handling of the situation brought us immediate relief. Dr. Wong is exceptional. She answered all of our questions thoroughly, which really helped alleviate our anxieties as parents. She also arranged for prompt follow-ups, which allowed us to stay ahead of the infection and monitor her recovery closely. The entire team at the clinic is empathetic and kind. They truly understand how scary these situations can be for parents and children alike. We are so grateful for the high standard of care Dr. Wong and her staff provide.

One of the best pediatric clinics in Singapore. I had taken my 3 year old daughter when she was getting 104°f fever. The staff at the triage noticed that and immediately sought doctor's advise to administer fever medication, the way they handled it was very professional and kind. The doctor ran quick antibody test and diagnosed that it was influenza A. She took plenty of time to answer all our questions to help alleviate our parental anxieties and also arranged for prompt follow ups. This really helped in staying ahead of infection. Everyone at the clinic was kind and empathetic, which helped with an already difficult and scary situation.

Dr Petrina Wong is our favourite PD to date, she’s quick and accurate on her diagnosis and treatment plan. Whenever we visited her many weeks apart, she never failed to remember the “last seen” condition of my child such as his breathing pattern etc. It felt like the dr is with us for the long run. Staff at the clinic are also very kind to everyone. Whenever we had questions we could just asked over whatsapp and will get prompt responses.

Dr Petrina is just wonderful! I am very happy I've been referred to her by another doctor! She is very calm, approachable and so good with kids. She communicated with them really well. My daughter did not mind being checked by her at all, and she also took time answering all questions that I had and took time to explain how to take each medicine. And the clinic is beautiful. With lots of nice toys for kids to play.

We’ve been visiting Dr. Petrina for more than 2 years, and every experience has been fantastic. She is patient, thorough, and great with kids, making each visit comfortable and stress-free. She is meticulous in checking the condition of my child and detailed in explaining the medical plan to us. In addition, the clinic is clean, the staff is friendly, and I always feel like my child is in excellent hands. Highly recommend for any parent looking for a caring pediatrician!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does PW Clinic Dr P Wong charge?

Private specialist paediatric consultations in Singapore typically run S$120–250 for a first visit and S$80–180 for follow-ups at clinics based in private hospitals such as Gleneagles. On top of the consultation fee, expect additional charges for investigations — blood panels S$60–200, X-rays S$80–150, urine tests, and any prescribed medications. GST applies on private medical services. Families with an Integrated Shield Plan (IP) layered on MediShield Life should check the plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider terms before the visit. MediSave 500 covers selected outpatient items; the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) allows S$700 MediSave withdrawal annually for listed chronic conditions. For any planned procedure, request a written financial counselling estimate from the clinic that itemises insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit. Is PW Clinic Dr P Wong MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No regulatory licences are listed in the current directory data for PW Clinic Dr P Wong. Every legitimate clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory online. Every practising doctor must be registered on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status, specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine, and any disciplinary history. Parents should complete both checks before booking — the clinic licence and the named doctor's SMC entry are each necessary and neither alone is sufficient. Given that no licences are currently confirmed in this listing, this step is particularly important. Contact PW Clinic Dr P Wong directly to request the clinic's MOH licence number and the consulting doctor's full name for cross-referencing on the SMC register.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at PW Clinic Dr P Wong?

Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally cover private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays subject to your plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. Confirm pre-authorisation requirements with your insurer before any planned procedure or admission to avoid claim disputes after the fact. For outpatient visits, MediSave 500 allows S$500 per year for general outpatient withdrawal; the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) raises this to S$700 annually for listed chronic conditions including asthma and certain developmental and mental health conditions. For paediatric outpatient visits specifically, most consultations and associated investigations are claimable from an IP only if admitted or proceeding to day surgery — routine outpatient visits are often self-pay or claimable only under specific riders. Ask the clinic's billing team for a clear breakdown of what your plan covers before the appointment, and request a written financial estimate if any procedure is anticipated. Skipping this step is the most common reason families are surprised by the final bill. See the full paediatric cost guide for Singapore →
