About Raffles Juniors

About Raffles Juniors

Raffles Juniors is a paediatric clinic located at Waterway Point in Punggol, serving families across Singapore. KakiList has verified the operating details and contact channels. The clinic holds a 4.5/5 rating across 17 Google reviews — a small sample, so treat this as directional rather than definitive. No regulatory licences have been provided to KakiList at this time, so families should confirm the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting paediatrician's Singapore Medical Council registration directly before booking.

For a first visit, parents typically contact the clinic by phone or through the enquiry form to confirm appointment availability and the presenting concern — whether a routine developmental review, National Childhood Immunisation Programme (NIP) vaccination, or an acute illness. At the consultation, the paediatrician will take a full history, assess developmental milestones where relevant, and order investigations such as a blood panel or urine analysis if indicated. Parents should bring the child's health booklet and any prior medical records. Follow-up cadence depends on the clinical finding, and parents should confirm at the visit whether a specialist referral or further diagnostic workup is needed.

To make an appointment at Raffles Juniors, call the clinic directly or submit an enquiry through the online form, and confirm current consultation fees and available slots before your visit.

The clinic is closed from 11 to 18 Dec. This kind of info should be updated online. Yes, we should check by calling the clinic before coming but with 3 young kids unwell and the long waiting time, we usually head down directly to the clinic to get in queue. Other than this, this is our to go clinic for our kids. Dr Gowri is very good with children and the check is very thorough. The staff are all warm and nice too. The medicine works for our kids.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Gowri for the exceptional care and attention provided to my daughter. From the moment we arrived, Dr. Gowri made us feel at ease with their professionalism, warmth, and patience. Their thorough approach and clear communication reassured us throughout the process, and we truly felt like our daughter was in the best hands. Thank you for your dedication and compassionate care – we are so grateful for everything you did!

My son was coughing really badly on the night of 8 June and we quickly brought him in for consultation as all the clinics near our home were closed on wed nights. Dr Amy checked on my 4yo and observed that he was not in good condition, breathing abnormally and quickly advised her staff to call an ambulance so that my child can be treated on the way to the hospital. I would like to thank Dr Amy for making the right call as this helped my son feel better quicker. Also, many thanks to the staff for accepting my child that night and slotting him as the last patient. My husband and I are grateful for your help and guidance that night.

Very grateful that Dr Gowri and the nurse at the PD counter on duty on 20 May 2023 morning accommodated and allowed our newborn for consultation despite being full house. As first time parents we are very appreciative. Dr Gowri is very gentle to the baby. Thank you.

Dr Gowri was very knowledgeable, patient and engaging, my child liked her a lot. Overall a good padeatric clinic. It would have been very useful if there were some toys and books in the waiting area for kids to engage with whilst waiting for their appointments.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Raffles Juniors charge?

Raffles Juniors has not published a detailed fee schedule on KakiList, so confirm pricing directly with the clinic before your visit. For context, private paediatric specialist consultations in Singapore typically run S$120–250 for a first visit and S$80–180 for follow-ups. Common add-ons include National Childhood Immunisation Programme (NIP) vaccinations (S$30–80 per dose depending on the vaccine), blood panels (S$60–200), urine or swab tests, and prescription costs. GST applies on private medical services. For any planned procedure or investigation, ask the clinic for a written financial counselling estimate that splits any insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions clearly. Polyclinic-referred visits to public hospital paediatric outpatient clinics run S$30–80 for Singapore Citizens after subsidy, but wait times for non-urgent cases can be 4–12 weeks. Is Raffles Juniors MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No regulatory licences have been provided to KakiList for Raffles Juniors at this time. Every legitimate clinic should hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory online. Every practising doctor must also appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg; search by name to confirm registration status, specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine, and any disciplinary history. For a paediatric clinic, specialist accreditation with the Chapter of Paediatric Medicine (College of Paediatricians) under the Academy of Medicine Singapore is the meaningful additional credential. Confirm both the clinic's MOH licence and the named doctor's SMC entry before booking — neither alone is sufficient, and families should not rely solely on the clinic's self-description.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Raffles Juniors?

Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life may cover paediatric specialist consultations, day procedures, and inpatient stays subject to the plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules — confirm pre-authorisation requirements with your insurer before any planned procedure to avoid claim disputes afterwards. MediSave can be used for selected outpatient items under the MediSave 500/700 withdrawal limits (S$500 per year for general outpatient, S$700 per year under the Chronic Disease Management Programme for listed conditions). Childhood vaccinations on the National Childhood Immunisation Programme schedule are covered under MediSave at approved clinics — confirm whether Raffles Juniors is an approved CHAS or MediSave-claimable provider when you call. For any planned procedure, request a financial counselling session so the clinic can issue an itemised pre-treatment estimate in writing. Skipping this step is the most common reason families are surprised by their final bill.
