About Rapid Physiocare Paediatric
Rapid Physiocare Paediatric is a paediatric healthcare provider operating from Novena Specialist Centre at 8 Sinaran Drive, serving patients islandwide. It holds a 4.9-star rating across 423 Google reviews, a robust sample that suggests consistent patient satisfaction. No regulatory licences are listed in the public directory data at this time, which limits the ability to confirm MOH Healthcare Services Licence and SMC registration independently — parents should verify these directly with the clinic before booking.
For a first appointment, parents typically contact the clinic via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to describe the child's presenting condition, age, and any referral documentation from a GP or specialist. Paediatric consultations at private clinics usually begin with a clinical assessment covering developmental milestones, physical examination, and review of prior investigations. Depending on the presenting concern, the treating clinician may order blood work, imaging, or refer to allied health services for further assessment. The Novena Specialist Centre location places the clinic within close proximity to other specialist services, which is relevant where co-management or onward referral is needed. Parents should confirm the specific scope of services offered — whether the clinic operates as a paediatric medical practice, a paediatric physiotherapy service, or both — as the billing, MediSave eligibility, and Integrated Shield Plan coverage differ accordingly.
Contact Rapid Physiocare Paediatric directly via WhatsApp or phone to confirm the consulting clinician's SMC registration and specialisation, the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence, current appointment availability, and a written fee estimate before attending.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
I was recommended by my Doctor to visit Rapid Physiocare Novena to do physical therapy and improve my knee situation due to over badminton. I was warmly received by Kelvin Loh and conducted several sessions successfully under his instruction. Kelvin is such a warmhearted man who is extremely humble and professional. The whole recovery journey has been incredible calming, peaceful and enjoyable. Kelvin is tremendously kind, with a great sense of humor to guide me through those exercises. I was very impressed with his ability, and attitude and optimism towards his patients. Without any pressure, the physical therapy was done with great passion and patience. I am still under the recovery process and it will be a long journey however with Kelvin’s help, I remain optimistic and confident about my knee recovery and I would like to share my great experience in Rapid Physiocare Novena and Kelvin Loh and they have my full support and recommendation in terms of physiotherapy.
Although I’ve only had two physiotherapy sessions so far, with more sessions to come, I already feel empowered from the very first session! The experience was deeply transformative, almost like an epiphany! Under Rahul’s guidance, I’ve gained valuable knowledge and new insight into breathing and core engagement, along with a renewed sense of confidence in my recovery. The sessions brought meaningful clarity around breathing, reset, healing, and focus, and I experienced a positive difference very quickly. Rahul is exceptionally kind, attentive, and professional. He truly listens to concerns and provides reassurance with great care and expertise. I was also pleasantly surprised by the TENS treatment, which has contributed positively to my healing progress. I feel genuinely blessed to be guided by Rahul and am very grateful for the support received. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you, Rahul!🙏
A big thank you to Kelvin for the excellent treatment over the past few weeks. Following my ankle surgery, I was struggling with my mobility, but the exercise program you created has been incredibly effective. Understanding the reason behind each exercise really helped the process. My ankle feels much better, and I’m glad to be back to my routine. I appreciate your expertise.
Am not someone who write reviews unless the experience is either exceptional or extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, this falls into the latter category. I had a very disappointing experience with Sheny, the physiotherapist. I attended sessions specifically for physiotherapy and lymphatic massage to help reduce swelling following tummy wall surgery. After two sessions, I stopped treatment as it was not only ineffective but actually worsened my swelling. Lymphatic massage is meant to address the whole body; however, she chose to focus solely on my flanks for the entire one-hour session. (Not sure how that helps with my lymphatic drainage of the whole body) During the second session, instead of performing lymphatic massage, she used an ultrasound device on my flanks for the full hour. I sought physiotherapy for full body manual lymphatic drainage, yet the treatment consisted only of repeatedly rolling an ultrasound device over the same area. The ultrasound treatment made my swelling worse, forcing me to seek alternative treatment elsewhere. In my opinion, her assessment was inadequate, her treatment plan questionable, and her knowledge appeared limited. Due to her misdiagnosis and lack of proper assessment, my insurance claims were later declined. (despite me providing her medical reports showing my actual condition that I was seeking physio treatments for) Dealing with her on this aspect was draining and time consuming and hence, I have decided to forego my claims. There are many more experienced physiotherapists out there who can deliver far better care and results. This experience left me feeling that both my time and money were wasted.
Physiotherapist Claudia had been an excellent source of motivation and a pillar of rock during my ankle recovery. Claudia is patient, obliging and full of empathy. Staff Justin and Irene are equally amazing and professional yet caring and genuine. 5 thumbs up to Novena Rapid Physiocare staff!

Pricing is not publicly listed, and the clinic operates at the $$ price band. For context, private specialist paediatric consultations in Singapore typically run S$120–250 for a first appointment and S$80–180 for follow-ups. If the clinic offers paediatric physiotherapy rather than or in addition to medical consultation, physiotherapy sessions typically run S$100–200 per session at private specialist centres. Investigations billed on top may include blood panels (S$60–200), X-rays (S$80–150), and ultrasound (S$150–400). GST applies on private medical services. For any planned procedure or extended treatment course, request a written financial counselling estimate that separates insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before committing. No regulatory licences are recorded in the listing data at this time. Before booking, parents should independently confirm two things: first, that the clinic holds a valid MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act, verifiable on the MOH licensee directory; and second, that the named clinician is registered on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, which shows registration status, specialist accreditation, and any disciplinary history. If the service is paediatric physiotherapy rather than a medical consultation, the treating therapist should be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) — a separate register from SMC. Confirming both the clinic licence and the individual clinician's registration is standard due diligence at any private specialist centre.
Coverage depends on whether the service is a medical consultation or physiotherapy. SMC-registered paediatricians operating from an MOH-licensed clinic are generally covered under Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life, subject to the plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. For planned procedures, request pre-authorisation and a Letter of Guarantee from your IP insurer before the appointment to avoid post-treatment claim disputes. MediSave can be drawn under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) at S$500–700 per year for listed chronic conditions, and separately for selected outpatient items. If the service is physiotherapy, IP coverage and MediSave eligibility differ — physiotherapy is generally not claimable under the standard MediSave 500/700 outpatient limits unless part of a specific programme. Confirm the billing model, the applicable CHAS or insurance panels, and request a written financial estimate before attending. See the full paediatric cost guide for Singapore →
